कालेबको कनज नाउँको कान्छो भाइ थियो। कनजको ओत्निएल नाउँको एउटा छोरो थियो। ओत्निएलले किर्यत-सेपेर शहरमालाई कब्जा गरे। यसर्थ कालेबले आफ्नी छोरी अक्सालाई उसको पत्नी हुन दिए।
