യോസേഫിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്നും ഓഹരി കിട്ടി; മനശ്ശെയുടെ ആദ്യജാതനും ഗിലെയാദിന്റെ അപ്പനും ആയ മാഖീർ യുദ്ധവീരനായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു ഗിലെയാദും ബാശാനും ലഭിച്ചു.
