പുരോഹിതന്മാർ വേണ്ടുന്നത്രയും പേർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാതെയും ജനം യെരൂശലേമിൽ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടാതെയും ഇരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു സമയത്തു അതു ആചരിപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല.
