1 Kings 15:13 തന്റെ അമ്മയായ മയഖ അശേരെക്കു ഒരു മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്നതു കൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവളെ രാജ്ഞിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; ആസാ അവളുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹം വെട്ടിമുറിച്ചു കിദ്രോൻ തോട്ടിന്നരികെവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.
King James Version (KJV) And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
American Standard Version (ASV) And also Maacah his mother he removed from being queen, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; and Asa cut down her image, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.
