Psalm 131
1 യഹോവേ, എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഗർവ്വിച്ചരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ നിഗളിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ ബുദ്ധിക്കെത്താത്ത വങ്കാര്യങ്ങളിലും അത്ഭുതവിഷയങ്ങളിലും ഞാൻ ഇടപെടുന്നതുമില്ല.
2 ഞാൻ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ താലോലിച്ചു മിണ്ടാതാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുക്കൽ മുലകുടി മാറിയ പൈതൽ എന്നപോലെ എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മുലകുടി മാറിയതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു.
1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
