3 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടി കഴിക്കുന്ന സകലപ്രാർത്ഥനയിലും എപ്പോഴും സന്തോഷത്തോടെ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചും
4 നിങ്ങളിൽ നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിയെ ആരംഭിച്ചവൻ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാളോളം അതിനെ തികെക്കും എന്നു ഉറപ്പായി വിശ്വസിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
5 ഒന്നാംനാൾ മുതൽ ഇതുവരെയും സുവിശേഷഘോഷണത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള കൂട്ടായ്മ നിമിത്തം
6 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഓർക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
7 കൃപയിൽ എനിക്കു കൂട്ടാളികളായ നിങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളിലും സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിവാദത്തിലും സ്ഥിരീകരണത്തിലും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ വഹിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെയും കുറിച്ചു വിചാരിക്കുന്നതു എനിക്കു ന്യായമല്ലോ.
8 ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ആർദ്രതയോടെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെയും കാണ്മാൻ എത്ര വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു എന്നതിന്നു ദൈവം സാക്ഷി.
9 നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്നേഹം മേല്ക്കുമേൽ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിലും സകല വിവേകത്തിലും വർദ്ധിച്ചു വന്നിട്ടു
10 നിങ്ങൾ ഭേദാഭേദങ്ങളെ വിവേചിപ്പാറാകേണം എന്നും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാളിലേക്കു നിർമ്മലന്മാരും ഇടർച്ചയില്ലാത്തവരും
11 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്നും പുകഴ്ചെക്കുമായിട്ടു യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനാൽ നീതി ഫലം നിറഞ്ഞവരുമായി തീരേണം എന്നും ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

3 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടി കഴിക്കുന്ന സകലപ്രാർത്ഥനയിലും എപ്പോഴും സന്തോഷത്തോടെ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചും
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 നിങ്ങളിൽ നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിയെ ആരംഭിച്ചവൻ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാളോളം അതിനെ തികെക്കും എന്നു ഉറപ്പായി വിശ്വസിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 ഒന്നാംനാൾ മുതൽ ഇതുവരെയും സുവിശേഷഘോഷണത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള കൂട്ടായ്മ നിമിത്തം
For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;
6 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഓർക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 കൃപയിൽ എനിക്കു കൂട്ടാളികളായ നിങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളിലും സുവിശേഷത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിവാദത്തിലും സ്ഥിരീകരണത്തിലും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ വഹിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെയും കുറിച്ചു വിചാരിക്കുന്നതു എനിക്കു ന്യായമല്ലോ.
Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ആർദ്രതയോടെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ എല്ലാവരെയും കാണ്മാൻ എത്ര വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു എന്നതിന്നു ദൈവം സാക്ഷി.
For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
9 നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്നേഹം മേല്ക്കുമേൽ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിലും സകല വിവേകത്തിലും വർദ്ധിച്ചു വന്നിട്ടു

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
11 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്നും പുകഴ്ചെക്കുമായിട്ടു യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനാൽ നീതി ഫലം നിറഞ്ഞവരുമായി തീരേണം എന്നും ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
