അങ്ങനെ ശമൂവേൽ തൈലക്കൊമ്പു എടുത്തു അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ നടുവിൽ വെച്ചു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു; യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവു അന്നുമുതൽ ദാവീദിന്മേൽ വന്നു. ശമൂവേൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു രാമയിലേക്കു പോയി.
