ആഹാസ് അശ്ശൂർരാജാവായ തിഗ്ളത്ത്-പിലേസരിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു: ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദാസനും നിന്റെ പുത്രനും ആകുന്നു; നീ വന്നു എന്നോടു എതിർത്തിരിക്കുന്ന അരാംരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമെന്നു പറയിച്ചു.
