Luke 18
26 ഇതു കേട്ടവർ: എന്നാൽ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ ആർക്കു കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
27 അതിന്നു അവൻ: “മനുഷ്യരാൽ അസാദ്ധ്യമായതു ദൈവത്താൽ സാദ്ധ്യമാകുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
28 ഇതാ ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വന്തമായതു വിട്ടു നിന്നെ അനുഗമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പത്രൊസ് പറഞ്ഞു.
29 യേശു അവരോടു: “ദൈവരാജ്യം നിമിത്തം വീടോ ഭാര്യയെയോ സഹോദരന്മാരെയോ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെയോ മക്കളെയോ വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞിട്ടു
30 ഈ കാലത്തിൽ തന്നേ പല മടങ്ങായും വരുവാനുള്ള ലോകത്തിൽ നിത്യജീവനെയും പ്രാപിക്കാത്തവൻ ആരും ഇല്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളാടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
31 അനന്തരം അവൻ പന്തിരുവരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു അവരോടു: “ഇതാ നാം യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവാചകന്മാർ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു എല്ലാം നിവൃത്തിയാകും.
32 അവനെ ജാതികൾക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും അവർ അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു അവമാനിച്ചു തുപ്പി തല്ലീട്ടു കൊല്ലുകയും
33 മൂന്നാം നാൾ അവൻ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കയും ചെയ്യും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
34 അവരോ ഇതു ഒന്നും ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല; ഈ വാക്കു അവർക്കു മറവായിരുന്നു; പറഞ്ഞതു അവർ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞതുമില്ല.
35 അവൻ യെരീഹോവിന്നു അടുത്തപ്പോൾ ഒരു കുരുടൻ ഇരന്നുകൊണ്ടു വഴിയരികെ ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു.
36 പുരുഷാരം കടന്നു പോകുന്നതു കേട്ടു: ഇതെന്തു എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചു.
37 നസറായനായ യേശു കടന്നുപോകുന്നു എന്നു അവർ അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.
38 അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: യേശുവേ, ദാവീദുപുത്രാ, എന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു.
39 മുൻനടക്കുന്നവർ അവനെ മിണ്ടാതിരിപ്പാൻ ശാസിച്ചു; അവനോ: ദിവീദുപുത്രാ എന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു ഏറ്റവും അധികം നിലവിളിച്ചു.
40 യേശു നിന്നു, അവനെ തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.
41 അവൻ അടുക്കെ വന്നപ്പോൾ: “ഞാൻ നിനക്കു എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു”. കർത്താവേ, എനിക്കു കാഴ്ച കിട്ടേണം എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
42 യേശു അവനോടു: “കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിക്ക; നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,
30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

30 ഈ കാലത്തിൽ തന്നേ പല മടങ്ങായും വരുവാനുള്ള ലോകത്തിൽ നിത്യജീവനെയും പ്രാപിക്കാത്തവൻ ആരും ഇല്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളാടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
31 അനന്തരം അവൻ പന്തിരുവരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു അവരോടു: “ഇതാ നാം യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവാചകന്മാർ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു എല്ലാം നിവൃത്തിയാകും.
Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

34 അവരോ ഇതു ഒന്നും ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല; ഈ വാക്കു അവർക്കു മറവായിരുന്നു; പറഞ്ഞതു അവർ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞതുമില്ല.
And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
35 അവൻ യെരീഹോവിന്നു അടുത്തപ്പോൾ ഒരു കുരുടൻ ഇരന്നുകൊണ്ടു വഴിയരികെ ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു.
And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
36 പുരുഷാരം കടന്നു പോകുന്നതു കേട്ടു: ഇതെന്തു എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചു.
And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
37 നസറായനായ യേശു കടന്നുപോകുന്നു എന്നു അവർ അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.
And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
38 അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: യേശുവേ, ദാവീദുപുത്രാ, എന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു.
And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
39 മുൻനടക്കുന്നവർ അവനെ മിണ്ടാതിരിപ്പാൻ ശാസിച്ചു; അവനോ: ദിവീദുപുത്രാ എന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു ഏറ്റവും അധികം നിലവിളിച്ചു.
And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
40 യേശു നിന്നു, അവനെ തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.
And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
41 അവൻ അടുക്കെ വന്നപ്പോൾ: “ഞാൻ നിനക്കു എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു”. കർത്താവേ, എനിക്കു കാഴ്ച കിട്ടേണം എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42 യേശു അവനോടു: “കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിക്ക; നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
