Acts 14
8 ലുസ്ത്രയിൽ അമ്മയുടെ ഗർഭംമുതൽ മുടന്തനായി ഒരിക്കലും നടന്നിട്ടില്ലാതെയും കാലിന്നു ശക്തിയില്ലാതെയും ഉള്ളോരു പുരുഷൻ ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു.
9 അവൻ പൌലൊസ് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കേട്ടു; അവൻ അവനെ ഉറ്റു നോക്കി, സൌഖ്യം പ്രാപിപ്പാൻ അവന്നു വിശ്വാസമുണ്ടു എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു:
10 നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു കാലൂന്നി നിവിർന്നുനിൽക്ക എന്നു ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു; അവൻ കുതിച്ചെഴുന്നേറ്റു നടന്നു
11 പൌലൊസ് ചെയ്തതു പുരുഷാരം കണ്ടിട്ടു: ദേവന്മാർ മനുഷ്യരൂപത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഇറങ്ങിവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ലുക്കവോന്യഭാഷയിൽ നിലവിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
12 ബർന്നബാസിന്നു ഇന്ദ്രൻ എന്നും പൌലൊസ് മുഖ്യപ്രസംഗിയാകയാൽ അവന്നു ബുധൻ എന്നു പേർവിളിച്ചു.
13 പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള ഇന്ദ്രക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പുരോഹിതൻ കാളകളെയും പൂമാലകളെയും ഗോപുരത്തിങ്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു പുരുഷാരത്തോടുകൂടെ യാഗം കഴിപ്പാൻ ഭാവിച്ചു.
14 ഇതു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരായ ബർന്നബാസും പൌലൊസും കേട്ടിട്ടു വസ്ത്രം കീറിക്കൊണ്ടു പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിലേക്കു ഓടിച്ചെന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു:
15 പുരുഷന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ ഈ ചെയ്യുന്നതു എന്തു? ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു സമസ്വഭാവമുള്ള മനുഷ്യർ അത്രെ; നിങ്ങൾ ഈ വ്യർത്ഥകാര്യങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു, ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സമുദ്രവും അവയിലുള്ള സകലവും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിയേണം എന്നുള്ള സുവിശേഷം ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിക്കുന്നു.
16 കഴിഞ്ഞ കാലങ്ങളിൽ അവൻ സകലജാതികളെയും സ്വന്ത വഴികളിൽ നടപ്പാൻ സമ്മതിച്ചു.
17 എങ്കിലും അവൻ നന്മചെയ്കയും ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു മഴയും ഫലപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള കാലങ്ങളും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരികയും ആഹാരവും സന്തോഷവും നല്കി നിങ്ങളെ തൃപ്തരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുപോന്നതിനാൽ തന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം തരാതിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല.
18 അവർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു തങ്ങൾക്കു യാഗം കഴിക്കാതവണ്ണം പുരുഷാരത്തെ പ്രയാസത്തോടെ തടുത്തു.
19 എന്നാൽ അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയിൽ നിന്നും ഇക്കോന്യയിൽ നിന്നും യെഹൂദന്മാർ വന്നു കൂടി പുരുഷാരത്തെ വശത്താക്കി പൌലൊസിനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു; അവൻ മരിച്ചു എന്നു വിചാരിച്ചിട്ടു അവനെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു പുറത്തേക്കു ഇഴെച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു.
20 എന്നാൽ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനെ ചുറ്റിനിൽക്കയിൽ അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെന്നു; പിറ്റെന്നാൾ ബർന്നബാസിനോടുകൂടെ ദെർബ്ബെക്കു പോയി.
8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked:
9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
12 And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.
13 Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.
14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
16 Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.
17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
18 And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.
19 And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.
20 Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.

Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.
11 പൌലൊസ് ചെയ്തതു പുരുഷാരം കണ്ടിട്ടു: ദേവന്മാർ മനുഷ്യരൂപത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഇറങ്ങിവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ലുക്കവോന്യഭാഷയിൽ നിലവിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
12 ബർന്നബാസിന്നു ഇന്ദ്രൻ എന്നും പൌലൊസ് മുഖ്യപ്രസംഗിയാകയാൽ അവന്നു ബുധൻ എന്നു പേർവിളിച്ചു.
And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.

14 ഇതു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരായ ബർന്നബാസും പൌലൊസും കേട്ടിട്ടു വസ്ത്രം കീറിക്കൊണ്ടു പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിലേക്കു ഓടിച്ചെന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു:
Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
15 പുരുഷന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ ഈ ചെയ്യുന്നതു എന്തു? ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു സമസ്വഭാവമുള്ള മനുഷ്യർ അത്രെ; നിങ്ങൾ ഈ വ്യർത്ഥകാര്യങ്ങളെ വിട്ടു, ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സമുദ്രവും അവയിലുള്ള സകലവും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിയേണം എന്നുള്ള സുവിശേഷം ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.
20 എന്നാൽ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനെ ചുറ്റിനിൽക്കയിൽ അവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെന്നു; പിറ്റെന്നാൾ ബർന്നബാസിനോടുകൂടെ ദെർബ്ബെക്കു പോയി.
Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
