20 അനന്തരം അബ്ശാലോം അഹിഥോഫെലിനോടു: നാം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതു എന്തു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ആലോചിച്ചു പറവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
21 അഹീഥോഫെൽ അബ്ശാലോമിനോടു: രാജധാനി സൂക്ഷിപ്പാൻ നിന്റെ അപ്പൻ പാർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അവന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ നീ ചെല്ലുക; എന്നാൽ നീ നിന്റെ അപ്പന്നു നിന്നെത്തന്നെ വെറുപ്പാക്കി എന്നു എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും കേൾക്കും; നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ളവർ ഒക്കെയും ധൈര്യപ്പെടും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
22 അങ്ങനെ അവർ അബ്ശാലോമിന്നു വെൺമാടിത്തിന്മേൽ ഒരു കൂടാരം അടിച്ചു; അവിടെ അബ്ശാലോം എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും കാൺകെ തന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു.
20 Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.
21 And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel shall hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hands of all that are with thee be strong.
22 So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.

And Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s concubines, which he hath left to keep the house; and all Israel shall hear that thou art abhorred of thy father: then shall the hands of all that are with thee be strong.
22 അങ്ങനെ അവർ അബ്ശാലോമിന്നു വെൺമാടിത്തിന്മേൽ ഒരു കൂടാരം അടിച്ചു; അവിടെ അബ്ശാലോം എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും കാൺകെ തന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു.
So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father’s concubines in the sight of all Israel.
