לֹֽא you no lōʾ תַעֲשׂ֨וּ Ye shall make ʿāśâ לָכֶ֜ם אֱלִילִ֗ם idols ʾĕlîl וּפֶ֤סֶל nor graven image, pesel וּמַצֵּבָה֙ a standing image, maṣṣēbâ לֹֽא neither lōʾ תָקִ֣ימוּ rear you up qûm לָכֶ֔ם וְאֶ֣בֶן of stone ʾeben מַשְׂכִּ֗ית image maśkît לֹ֤א neither lōʾ תִתְּנוּ֙ shall ye set up nātan בְּאַרְצְכֶ֔ם in your land, ʾereṣ לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֹ֖ת to bow down šāḥâ עָלֶ֑יהָ unto ʿal כִּ֛י it: for kî אֲנִ֥י I ʾănî יְהוָ֖ה the Lord yĕhōwâ אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃ your God. ʾĕlōhîm

אֶת ʾēt שַׁבְּתֹתַ֣י my sabbaths, šabbāt תִּשְׁמֹ֔רוּ Ye shall keep šāmar וּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י my sanctuary: miqdoš תִּירָ֑אוּ and reverence yārēʾ אֲנִ֖י I ʾănî יְהוָֽה׃ the Lord. yĕhōwâ

אִם If ʾim בְּחֻקֹּתַ֖י in my statutes, ḥuqqâ תֵּלֵ֑כוּ ye walk hālak וְאֶת ʾēt מִצְוֹתַ֣י my commandments, miṣwâ תִּשְׁמְר֔וּ and keep šāmar וַֽעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם and do them; ʿāśâ אֹתָֽם׃ ʾēt

וְנָֽתַתִּ֥י Then I will give nātan גִשְׁמֵיכֶ֖ם you rain gešem בְּעִתָּ֑ם in due season, ʿēt וְנָֽתְנָ֤ה shall yield nātan הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ and the land ʾereṣ יְבוּלָ֔הּ her increase, yĕbûl וְעֵ֥ץ and the trees ʿēṣ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה of the field śāde יִתֵּ֥ן shall yield nātan פִּרְיֽוֹ׃ their fruit. pĕrî

וְהִשִּׂ֨יג shall reach nāśag לָכֶ֥ם דַּ֙יִשׁ֙ And your threshing dayiš אֶת ʾēt בָּצִ֔יר unto the vintage, bāṣîr וּבָצִ֖יר and the vintage bāṣîr יַשִּׂ֣יג shall reach nāśag אֶת ʾēt זָ֑רַע unto the sowing time: zeraʿ וַֽאֲכַלְתֶּ֤ם and ye shall eat ʾākal לַחְמְכֶם֙ your bread leḥem לָשֹׂ֔בַע to the full, śōbaʿ וִֽישַׁבְתֶּ֥ם and dwell yāšab לָבֶ֖טַח safely. beṭaḥ בְּאַרְצְכֶֽם׃ in your land ʾereṣ

וְנָֽתַתִּ֤י And I will give nātan שָׁלוֹם֙ peace šālôm בָּאָ֔רֶץ in the land, ʾereṣ וּשְׁכַבְתֶּ֖ם and ye shall lie down, šākab וְאֵ֣ין and none ʾayin מַֽחֲרִ֑יד shall make afraid: ḥārad וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֞י and I will rid šābat חַיָּ֤ה beasts ḥay רָעָה֙ evil raʿ מִן out of min הָאָ֔רֶץ the land, ʾereṣ וְחֶ֖רֶב shall the sword ḥereb לֹֽא neither lōʾ תַעֲבֹ֥ר go ʿābar בְּאַרְצְכֶֽם׃ through your land. ʾereṣ

וּרְדַפְתֶּ֖ם And ye shall chase rādap אֶת ʾēt אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֑ם your enemies, ʾōyēb וְנָֽפְל֥וּ and they shall fall nāpal לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם before pānîm לֶחָֽרֶב׃ you by the sword. ḥereb

וְרָֽדְפ֨וּ you shall chase rādap מִכֶּ֤ם of min חֲמִשָּׁה֙ And five ḥāmēš מֵאָ֔ה an hundred, mēʾâ וּמֵאָ֥ה and an hundred mēʾâ מִכֶּ֖ם of min רְבָבָ֣ה you shall put ten thousand rĕbābâ יִרְדֹּ֑פוּ to flight: rādap וְנָֽפְל֧וּ shall fall nāpal אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֛ם and your enemies ʾōyēb לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם before pānîm לֶחָֽרֶב׃ you by the sword. ḥereb

וּפָנִ֣יתִי For I will have respect pānâ אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם unto ʾēl וְהִפְרֵיתִ֣י you, and make you fruitful, pārâ אֶתְכֶ֔ם ʾēt וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֖י and multiply rābâ אֶתְכֶ֑ם ʾēt וַהֲקִֽימֹתִ֥י you, and establish qûm אֶת ʾēt בְּרִיתִ֖י my covenant bĕrît אִתְּכֶֽם׃ with you. ʾēt

וַֽאֲכַלְתֶּ֥ם And ye shall eat ʾākal יָשָׁ֖ן the old yāšān נוֹשָׁ֑ן old store, yāšēn וְיָשָׁ֕ן yāšēn מִפְּנֵ֥י because pānîm חָדָ֖שׁ of the new. ḥādoš תּוֹצִֽיאוּ׃ and bring forth yāṣāʾ

וְנָֽתַתִּ֥י And I will set nātan מִשְׁכָּנִ֖י my tabernacle miškān בְּתֽוֹכְכֶ֑ם among tāwek וְלֹֽא shall not lōʾ תִגְעַ֥ל abhor you. gāʿal נַפְשִׁ֖י you: and my soul nepeš אֶתְכֶֽם׃ ʾēt

וְהִתְהַלַּכְתִּי֙ And I will walk hālak בְּת֣וֹכְכֶ֔ם among tāwek וְהָיִ֥יתִי you, and will be hāyâ לָכֶ֖ם לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים your God, ʾĕlōhîm וְאַתֶּ֖ם and ye ʾattâ תִּֽהְיוּ shall be hāyâ לִ֥י לְעָֽם׃ my people. ʿam

אֲנִ֞י I ʾănî יְהוָ֣ה the Lord yĕhōwâ אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם your God, ʾĕlōhîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר which ʾăšer הוֹצֵ֤אתִי brought you forth yāṣāʾ אֶתְכֶם֙ ʾēt מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land ʾereṣ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt, miṣrayim מִֽהְיֹ֥ת that ye should not be hāyâ לָהֶ֖ם עֲבָדִ֑ים their bondmen; ʿebed וָֽאֶשְׁבֹּר֙ and I have broken šābar מֹטֹ֣ת the bands môṭâ עֻלְּכֶ֔ם of your yoke, ʿōl וָֽאוֹלֵ֥ךְ and made you go hālak אֶתְכֶ֖ם ʾēt קֽוֹמְמִיּֽוּת׃ upright. qômĕmiyyût

וְאִם But if ʾim לֹ֥א ye will not lōʾ תִשְׁמְע֖וּ hearken šāmaʿ לִ֑י וְלֹ֣א unto me, and will not lōʾ תַֽעֲשׂ֔וּ do ʿāśâ אֵ֥ת ʾēt כָּל all kōl הַמִּצְוֹ֖ת commandments; miṣwâ הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ these ʾēlle

וְאִם And if ʾim בְּחֻקֹּתַ֣י my statutes, ḥuqqâ תִּמְאָ֔סוּ ye shall despise māʾas וְאִ֥ם or if ʾim אֶת ʾēt מִשְׁפָּטַ֖י my judgments, mišpāṭ תִּגְעַ֣ל abhor gāʿal נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם your soul nepeš לְבִלְתִּ֤י so that ye will not biltî עֲשׂוֹת֙ do ʿāśâ אֶת ʾēt כָּל all kōl מִצְוֹתַ֔י my commandments, miṣwâ לְהַפְרְכֶ֖ם that ye break pārar אֶת ʾēt בְּרִיתִֽי׃ my covenant: bĕrît

אַף also ʾap אֲנִ֞י I ʾănî אֶֽעֱשֶׂה will do ʿāśâ זֹּ֣את this zōt לָכֶ֗ם וְהִפְקַדְתִּ֨י unto you; I will even appoint pāqad עֲלֵיכֶ֤ם over ʿal בֶּֽהָלָה֙ you terror, behālâ אֶת ʾēt הַשַּׁחֶ֣פֶת consumption, šaḥepet וְאֶת ʾēt הַקַּדַּ֔חַת and the burning ague, qaddaḥat מְכַלּ֥וֹת that shall consume kālâ עֵינַ֖יִם the eyes, ʿayin וּמְדִיבֹ֣ת and cause sorrow dûb נָ֑פֶשׁ of heart: nepeš וּזְרַעְתֶּ֤ם and ye shall sow zāraʿ לָרִיק֙ in vain, rîq זַרְעֲכֶ֔ם your seed zeraʿ וַֽאֲכָלֻ֖הוּ shall eat it. ʾākal אֹֽיְבֵיכֶֽם׃ for your enemies ʾōyēb

וְנָֽתַתִּ֤י And I will set nātan פָנַי֙ my face pānîm בָּכֶ֔ם וְנִגַּפְתֶּ֖ם against you, and ye shall be slain nāgap לִפְנֵ֣י before pānîm אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֑ם your enemies: ʾōyēb וְרָד֤וּ you shall reign rādâ בָכֶם֙ שֹֽׂנְאֵיכֶ֔ם they that hate śānēʾ וְנַסְתֶּ֖ם over you; and ye shall flee nûs וְאֵין when none ʾayin רֹדֵ֥ף pursueth you. rādap אֶתְכֶֽם׃ ʾēt

וְאִ֨ם And if ʾim עַד yet for ʿad אֵ֔לֶּה all this ʾēlle לֹ֥א ye will not lōʾ תִשְׁמְע֖וּ hearken šāmaʿ לִ֑י וְיָֽסַפְתִּי֙ more yāsap לְיַסְּרָ֣ה unto me, then I will punish yāsar אֶתְכֶ֔ם ʾēt שֶׁ֖בַע you seven times šebaʿ עַל for ʿal חַטֹּֽאתֵיכֶֽם׃ your sins. ḥaṭṭāʾâ

וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּ֖י And I will break šābar אֶת ʾēt גְּא֣וֹן the pride gāʾôn עֻזְּכֶ֑ם of your power; ʿōz וְנָֽתַתִּ֤י and I will make nātan אֶת ʾēt שְׁמֵיכֶם֙ your heaven šāmayim כַּבַּרְזֶ֔ל as iron, barzel וְאֶֽת ʾēt אַרְצְכֶ֖ם and your earth ʾereṣ כַּנְּחֻשָֽׁה׃ as brass: nĕḥûšâ

וְתַ֥ם shall be spent tāmam לָרִ֖יק in vain: rîq כֹּֽחֲכֶ֑ם And your strength kōaḥ וְלֹֽא shall not lōʾ תִתֵּ֤ן yield nātan אַרְצְכֶם֙ for your land ʾereṣ אֶת ʾēt יְבוּלָ֔הּ her increase, yĕbûl וְעֵ֣ץ shall the trees ʿēṣ הָאָ֔רֶץ of the land ʾereṣ לֹ֥א neither lōʾ יִתֵּ֖ן yield nātan פִּרְיֽוֹ׃ their fruits. pĕrî

וְאִם And if ʾim תֵּֽלְכ֤וּ ye walk hālak עִמִּי֙ unto ʿim קֶ֔רִי contrary qĕrî וְלֹ֥א not lōʾ תֹאב֖וּ me, and will ʾābâ לִשְׁמֹ֣עַֽ hearken šāmaʿ לִ֑י וְיָֽסַפְתִּ֤י unto me; I will bring yāsap עֲלֵיכֶם֙ upon ʿal מַכָּ֔ה more plagues makkâ שֶׁ֖בַע seven times šebaʿ כְּחַטֹּֽאתֵיכֶֽם׃ you according to your sins. ḥaṭṭāʾâ

וְהִשְׁלַחְתִּ֨י I will also send šālaḥ בָכֶ֜ם אֶת ʾēt חַיַּ֤ת beasts ḥay הַשָּׂדֶה֙ wild śāde וְשִׁכְּלָ֣ה among you, which shall rob you of your children, šākōl אֶתְכֶ֔ם ʾēt וְהִכְרִ֙יתָה֙ and destroy kārat אֶת ʾēt בְּהֶמְתְּכֶ֔ם your cattle, bĕhēmâ וְהִמְעִ֖יטָה and make you few in number; māʿaṭ אֶתְכֶ֑ם ʾēt וְנָשַׁ֖מּוּ shall be desolate. šāmēm דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃ and your ways derek

וְאִ֨ם And if ʾim בְּאֵ֔לֶּה by me by these things, ʾēlle לֹ֥א ye will not lōʾ תִוָּֽסְר֖וּ be reformed yāsar לִ֑י וַֽהֲלַכְתֶּ֥ם but will walk hālak עִמִּ֖י unto me; ʿim קֶֽרִי׃ contrary qĕrî

וְהָֽלַכְתִּ֧י walk hālak אַף also ʾap אֲנִ֛י Then will I ʾănî עִמָּכֶ֖ם unto ʿim בְּקֶ֑רִי contrary qĕrî וְהִכֵּיתִ֤י you, and will punish nākâ אֶתְכֶם֙ ʾēt גַּם you yet gam אָ֔נִי ʾănî שֶׁ֖בַע seven times šebaʿ עַל for ʿal חַטֹּֽאתֵיכֶֽם׃ your sins. ḥaṭṭāʾâ

וְהֵֽבֵאתִ֨י And I will bring bôʾ עֲלֵיכֶ֜ם upon ʿal חֶ֗רֶב a sword ḥereb נֹקֶ֙מֶת֙ you, that shall avenge nāqam נְקַם the quarrel nāqām בְּרִ֔ית of covenant: bĕrît וְנֶֽאֱסַפְתֶּ֖ם and when ye are gathered together ʾāsap אֶל within ʾēl עָֽרֵיכֶ֑ם your cities, ʿîr וְשִׁלַּ֤חְתִּי I will send šālaḥ דֶ֙בֶר֙ the pestilence deber בְּת֣וֹכְכֶ֔ם among tāwek וְנִתַּתֶּ֖ם you; and ye shall be delivered nātan בְּיַד into the hand yād אוֹיֵֽב׃ of the enemy. ʾōyēb

בְּשִׁבְרִ֣י when I have broken šābar לָכֶם֮ מַטֵּה the staff maṭṭe לֶחֶם֒ of your bread, leḥem וְ֠אָפוּ shall bake ʾāpâ עֶ֣שֶׂר ten ʿeśer נָשִׁ֤ים women ʾiššâ לַחְמְכֶם֙ your bread leḥem בְּתַנּ֣וּר oven, tannûr אֶחָ֔ד in one ʾeḥād וְהֵשִׁ֥יבוּ and they shall deliver šûb לַחְמְכֶ֖ם your bread leḥem בַּמִּשְׁקָ֑ל again by weight: mišqāl וַֽאֲכַלְתֶּ֖ם and ye shall eat, ʾākal וְלֹ֥א and not lōʾ תִשְׂבָּֽעוּ׃ be satisfied. śābaʿ

וְאִ֨ם And if ʾim בְּזֹ֔את for all this zōt לֹ֥א ye will not lōʾ תִשְׁמְע֖וּ hearken šāmaʿ לִ֑י וַֽהֲלַכְתֶּ֥ם unto me, but walk hālak עִמִּ֖י unto me; ʿim בְּקֶֽרִי׃ contrary qĕrî

וְהָֽלַכְתִּ֥י Then I will walk hālak עִמָּכֶ֖ם unto ʿim בַּֽחֲמַת you also in fury; ḥēmâ קֶ֑רִי contrary qĕrî וְיִסַּרְתִּ֤י will chastise yāsar אֶתְכֶם֙ ʾēt אַף and I, even ʾap אָ֔נִי I, ʾănî שֶׁ֖בַע you seven times šebaʿ עַל for ʿal חַטֹּֽאתֵיכֶֽם׃ your sins. ḥaṭṭāʾâ

וַֽאֲכַלְתֶּ֖ם And ye shall eat ʾākal בְּשַׂ֣ר the flesh bāśār בְּנֵיכֶ֑ם of your sons, bēn וּבְשַׂ֥ר and the flesh bāśār בְּנֹֽתֵיכֶ֖ם of your daughters bat תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃ shall ye eat. ʾākal

וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּ֞י And I will destroy šāmad אֶת ʾēt בָּמֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם your high places, bāmâ וְהִכְרַתִּי֙ and cut down kārat אֶת ʾēt חַמָּ֣נֵיכֶ֔ם your images, ḥammān וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ and cast nātan אֶת ʾēt פִּגְרֵיכֶ֔ם your carcases peger עַל upon ʿal פִּגְרֵ֖י the carcases peger גִּלּֽוּלֵיכֶ֑ם of your idols, gillûl וְגָֽעֲלָ֥ה shall abhor you. gāʿal נַפְשִׁ֖י and my soul nepeš אֶתְכֶֽם׃ ʾēt

וְנָֽתַתִּ֤י And I will make nātan אֶת ʾēt עָֽרֵיכֶם֙ your cities ʿîr חָרְבָּ֔ה waste, ḥorbâ וַֽהֲשִׁמּוֹתִ֖י unto desolation, šāmēm אֶת ʾēt מִקְדְּשֵׁיכֶ֑ם and bring your sanctuaries miqdoš וְלֹ֣א and I will not lōʾ אָרִ֔יחַ smell rûaḥ בְּרֵ֖יחַ the savour rêaḥ נִיחֹֽחֲכֶֽם׃ of your sweet odours. nîḥôaḥ

וַֽהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֥י into desolation: šāmēm אֲנִ֖י And I ʾănî אֶת ʾēt הָאָ֑רֶץ will bring the land ʾereṣ וְשָֽׁמְמ֤וּ therein shall be astonished šāmēm עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ at it. ʿal אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֔ם and your enemies ʾōyēb הַיֹּֽשְׁבִ֖ים which dwell yāšab בָּֽהּ׃

וְאֶתְכֶם֙ ʾēt אֱזָרֶ֣ה And I will scatter zārâ בַגּוֹיִ֔ם you among the heathen, gôy וַהֲרִֽיקֹתִ֥י and will draw out rûq אַֽחֲרֵיכֶ֖ם after ʾaḥar חָ֑רֶב a sword ḥereb וְהָֽיְתָ֤ה shall be hāyâ אַרְצְכֶם֙ you: and your land ʾereṣ שְׁמָמָ֔ה desolate, šĕmāmâ וְעָֽרֵיכֶ֖ם and your cities ʿîr יִֽהְי֥וּ hāyâ חָרְבָּֽה׃ waste. ḥorbâ

אָז֩ Then ʾāz תִּרְצֶ֨ה enjoy rāṣâ הָאָ֜רֶץ shall the land ʾereṣ אֶת ʾēt שַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָ her sabbaths, šabbāt כֹּ֚ל as kōl יְמֵ֣י as long yôm הָשַּׁמָּ֔ה it lieth desolate, šāmēm וְאַתֶּ֖ם and ye ʾattâ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ land; ʾereṣ אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֑ם in your enemies' ʾōyēb אָ֚ז then ʾāz תִּשְׁבַּ֣ת rest, šābat הָאָ֔רֶץ shall the land ʾereṣ וְהִרְצָ֖ת and enjoy rāṣâ אֶת ʾēt שַׁבְּתֹתֶֽיהָ׃ her sabbaths. šabbāt

כָּל kōl יְמֵ֥י As long as yôm הָשַּׁמָּ֖ה it lieth desolate šāmēm תִּשְׁבֹּ֑ת it shall rest; šābat אֵ֣ת ʾēt אֲשֶׁ֧ר because ʾăšer לֹֽא it did not lōʾ שָׁבְתָ֛ה rest šābat בְּשַׁבְּתֹֽתֵיכֶ֖ם in your sabbaths, šabbāt בְּשִׁבְתְּכֶ֥ם when ye dwelt yāšab עָלֶֽיהָ׃ upon it. ʿal

וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים And upon them that are left šāʾar בָּכֶ֔ם וְהֵבֵ֤אתִי of you I will send bôʾ מֹ֙רֶךְ֙ a faintness mōrek בִּלְבָבָ֔ם into their hearts lēbāb בְּאַרְצֹ֖ת in the lands ʾereṣ אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֑ם of their enemies; ʾōyēb וְרָדַ֣ף shall chase rādap אֹתָ֗ם ʾēt ק֚וֹל and the sound qôl עָלֶ֣ה leaf ʿāle נִדָּ֔ף of a shaken nādap וְנָס֧וּ them; and they shall flee, nûs מְנֻֽסַת as fleeing mĕnûsâ חֶ֛רֶב from a sword; ḥereb וְנָֽפְל֖וּ and they shall fall nāpal וְאֵ֥ין when none ʾayin רֹדֵֽף׃ pursueth. rādap

וְכָֽשְׁל֧וּ And they shall fall kāšal אִישׁ one ʾîš בְּאָחִ֛יו upon another, ʾāḥ כְּמִפְּנֵי as it were before pānîm חֶ֖רֶב a sword, ḥereb וְרֹדֵ֣ף pursueth: rādap אָ֑יִן when none ʾayin וְלֹא no lōʾ תִֽהְיֶ֤ה and ye shall have hāyâ לָכֶם֙ תְּקוּמָ֔ה power to stand tĕqûmâ לִפְנֵ֖י before pānîm אֹֽיְבֵיכֶֽם׃ your enemies. ʾōyēb

וַֽאֲבַדְתֶּ֖ם And ye shall perish ʾābad בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם among the heathen, gôy וְאָֽכְלָ֣ה shall eat you up. ʾākal אֶתְכֶ֔ם ʾēt אֶ֖רֶץ and the land ʾereṣ אֹֽיְבֵיכֶֽם׃ of your enemies ʾōyēb

וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים And they that are left šāʾar בָּכֶ֗ם יִמַּ֙קּוּ֙ of you shall pine away māqaq בַּֽעֲוֹנָ֔ם in their iniquity ʿāwōn בְּאַרְצֹ֖ת lands; ʾereṣ אֹֽיְבֵיכֶ֑ם in your enemies' ʾōyēb וְאַ֛ף and also ʾap בַּֽעֲוֹנֹ֥ת in the iniquities ʿāwōn אֲבֹתָ֖ם of their fathers ʾāb אִתָּ֥ם with them. ʾēt יִמָּֽקּוּ׃ shall they pine away māqaq

וְהִתְוַדּ֤וּ If they shall confess yādâ אֶת ʾēt עֲוֹנָם֙ their iniquity, ʿāwōn וְאֶת ʾēt עֲוֹ֣ן and the iniquity ʿāwōn אֲבֹתָ֔ם of their fathers, ʾāb בְּמַֽעֲלָ֖ם with their trespass maʿal אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ʾăšer מָֽעֲלוּ they trespassed māʿal בִ֑י וְאַ֕ף also ʾap אֲשֶׁר against me, and that ʾăšer הָֽלְכ֥וּ they have walked hālak עִמִּ֖י unto me; ʿim בְּקֶֽרִי׃ contrary qĕrî

אַף also ʾap אֲנִ֗י And I ʾănî אֵלֵ֤ךְ have walked hālak עִמָּם֙ unto ʿim בְּקֶ֔רִי contrary qĕrî וְהֵֽבֵאתִ֣י them, and have brought bôʾ אֹתָ֔ם of ʾēt בְּאֶ֖רֶץ them into the land ʾereṣ אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֑ם of their enemies; ʾōyēb אוֹ if then ʾô אָ֣ז ʾāz יִכָּנַ֗ע be humbled, kānaʿ לְבָבָם֙ hearts lēbāb הֶֽעָרֵ֔ל their uncircumcised ʿārēl וְאָ֖ז and they then ʾāz יִרְצ֥וּ accept rāṣâ אֶת ʾēt עֲוֹנָֽם׃ the punishment of their iniquity: ʿāwōn

וְזָֽכַרְתִּ֖י Then will I remember zākar אֶת ʾēt בְּרִיתִ֣י my covenant bĕrît יַֽעֲק֑וֹב with Jacob, yaʿăqōb וְאַף֩ and also ʾap אֶת ʾēt בְּרִיתִ֨י my covenant bĕrît יִצְחָ֜ק with Isaac, yiṣḥāq וְאַ֨ף and also ʾap אֶת ʾēt בְּרִיתִ֧י my covenant bĕrît אַבְרָהָ֛ם with Abraham ʾabrāhām אֶזְכֹּ֖ר will I remember; zākar וְהָאָ֥רֶץ the land. ʾereṣ אֶזְכֹּֽר׃ and I will remember zākar

וְהָאָרֶץ֩ The land ʾereṣ תֵּֽעָזֵ֨ב also shall be left ʿāzab מֵהֶ֜ם without them: and they hēm וְתִ֣רֶץ of them, and shall enjoy rāṣâ אֶת ʾēt שַׁבְּתֹתֶ֗יהָ her sabbaths, šabbāt בָּהְשַׁמָּה֙ while she lieth desolate šāmēm מֵהֶ֔ם hēm וְהֵ֖ם hēm יִרְצ֣וּ shall accept rāṣâ אֶת ʾēt עֲוֹנָ֑ם of the punishment of their iniquity: ʿāwōn יַ֣עַן because, yaʿan וּבְיַ֔עַן even because yaʿan בְּמִשְׁפָּטַ֣י my judgments, mišpāṭ מָאָ֔סוּ they despised māʾas וְאֶת ʾēt חֻקֹּתַ֖י my statutes. ḥuqqâ גָּֽעֲלָ֥ה abhorred gāʿal נַפְשָֽׁם׃ and because their soul nepeš

וְאַף And yet ʾap גַּם when they be gam זֹ֠את for all that, zōt בִּֽהְיוֹתָ֞ם hāyâ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land ʾereṣ אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֗ם of their enemies, ʾōyēb לֹֽא I will not lōʾ מְאַסְתִּ֤ים cast them away, māʾas וְלֹֽא neither lōʾ גְעַלְתִּים֙ will I abhor gāʿal לְכַלֹּתָ֔ם them, to destroy them utterly, kālâ לְהָפֵ֥ר and to break pārar בְּרִיתִ֖י my covenant bĕrît אִתָּ֑ם with ʾēt כִּ֛י them: for kî אֲנִ֥י I ʾănî יְהוָ֖ה the Lord yĕhōwâ אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶֽם׃ their God. ʾĕlōhîm

וְזָֽכַרְתִּ֥י But I will for their sakes remember zākar לָהֶ֖ם בְּרִ֣ית the covenant bĕrît רִֽאשֹׁנִ֑ים of their ancestors, riʾšôn אֲשֶׁ֣ר whom ʾăšer הוֹצֵֽאתִי I brought forth yāṣāʾ אֹתָם֩ ʾēt מֵאֶ֨רֶץ out of the land ʾereṣ מִצְרַ֜יִם of Egypt miṣrayim לְעֵינֵ֣י in the sight ʿayin הַגּוֹיִ֗ם of the heathen, gôy לִֽהְי֥וֹת that I might be hāyâ לָהֶ֛ם לֵֽאלֹהִ֖ים their God: ʾĕlōhîm אֲנִ֥י I ʾănî יְהוָֽה׃ the Lord. yĕhōwâ

אֵ֠לֶּה These ʾēlle הַֽחֻקִּ֣ים the statutes ḥōq וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים֮ and judgments mišpāṭ וְהַתּוֹרֹת֒ and laws, tôrâ אֲשֶׁר֙ which ʾăšer נָתַ֣ן made nātan יְהוָ֔ה the Lord yĕhōwâ בֵּינ֕וֹ between bên וּבֵ֖ין bên בְּנֵ֣י him and the children bēn יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiśrāʾēl בְּהַ֥ר in mount har סִינַ֖י Sinai sînay בְּיַד by the hand yād מֹשֶֽׁה׃ of Moses. mōše
