Genesis 39:4 ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಅವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಪೆಹೊಂದಿ ಅವನ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿದನು. ಪೋಟೀಫರನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
