Psalm 131
1 ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಗರ್ವದ್ದಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಅಹಂಭಾವ ದವುಗಳೂ ಅಲ್ಲ; ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನಗೆ ನಿಲುಕಲಾರದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.
2 ಮೊಲೆ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಕೂಸು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಮೊಲೆ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಕೂಸಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೆ.
1 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
