ಈತನು ತನ್ನ ರಕ್ತದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿದ್ದವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪಾಪದ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ದೇವರು ಈತನನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟನು. ದೇವರು ಹಿಂದಿನಕಾಲದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರಲಾಗಿ
