Leviticus 20
1 ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
2 ನೀನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಪರಕೀಯರಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಯಾವನಾ ದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು; ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬೇಕು.
3 ನಾನು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿರುವೆನು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು; ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
4 ಆ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಾಗ ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ
5 ಆಗ ನಾನು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾ ಗಿಯೂ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವೆನು. ಮೋಲೆಕ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನನೂ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು.
6 ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೂ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಟಗಾರರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವನಿಗೂ ನಾನು ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿರುವೆನು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು.
7 ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ.
8 ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ.
9 ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವ ವನಿಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮರಣದಂಡನೆ ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು; ಯಾವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವನೋ ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಇರುವದು.
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4 And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
5 Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.
7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.
8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.
9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

1 ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

3 ನಾನು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿರುವೆನು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು; ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.
4 ಆ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವಾಗ ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ
And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
5 ಆಗ ನಾನು ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೂ ವಿರೋಧವಾ ಗಿಯೂ ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವೆನು. ಮೋಲೆಕ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನನೂ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು.
Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.
6 ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೂ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಟಗಾರರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವವನಿಗೂ ನಾನು ವಿಮುಖನಾಗಿರುವೆನು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವೆನು.

7 ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಾಗಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ.
Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God.
8 ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ.
And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.
9 ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವ ವನಿಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಮರಣದಂಡನೆ ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು; ಯಾವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವನೋ ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಇರುವದು.
For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
