Amos 1:8
ಅಷ್ಡೋ ದಿನಿಂದ ನಿವಾಸಿಯನ್ನು ಅಷ್ಕೆಲೋನಿನಿಂದ ರಾಜದಂಡ ಹಿಡಿಯುವವನನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾನು ಎಕ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಉಳಿದ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪಿಯರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವರೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
