Deuteronomy 3
1 ಆಗ ನಾವು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟೆವು. ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಓಗನು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ನಮ್ಮೆದುರಿಗೆ ಎದ್ರೈಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟನು.
2 ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಅವನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ; ಅವ ನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನೀನು ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನ ನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
3 ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲ ರನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು; ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉಳಿಯದೆ ಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದೆವು.
4 ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿಡಿದೆವು; ನಾವು ಅವರಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಇದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅರ್ಗೋಬಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ದೇಶ ವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅರವತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು; ಇವೇ ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಓಗನ ರಾಜ್ಯವು.
5 ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಗೋಡೆಬಾಗಲು ಅಗುಳಿಗಳಿಂದ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೈಲು ಸೀಮೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಇದ್ದವು.
6 ನಾವು ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು; ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕ ಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡಿದೆವು.
7 ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡೆವು.
8 ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ನೋನ್ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಹೆರ್ಮೋನ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಅರ ಸರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡೆವು.
9 (ಆ ಹೆರ್ಮೋನಿಗೆ ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರು ಸಿರ್ಯೋನೆಂದೂ ಅಮೋರಿಯರು ಸೇನೀಯರೆಂದೂ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.)
10 ಬೈಲು ಸೀಮೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನ್ನೂ ಬಾಷಾನಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಓಗನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಾದ ಸಲ್ಕಾ, ಎದ್ರೈ ವರೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಷಾನನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡೆವು,
11 ಮಹಾ ಶರೀರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರೊಳಗೆ ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಓಗನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿದನು; ಅಗೋ, ಅವನ ಮಂಚವು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಮಂಚ; ಅದು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಬ್ಬಾನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವು ಪುರುಷನ ಕೈಯಳತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಂಭತ್ತು ಮೊಳ, ಅಗಲವು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮೊಳ ಇತ್ತು.
1 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.
2 And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
3 So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.
4 And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
5 All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.
6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.
7 But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.
8 And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;
9 (Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;)
10 All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

And the Lord said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
3 ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲ ರನ್ನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು; ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉಳಿಯದೆ ಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದೆವು.
So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.
4 ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿಡಿದೆವು; ನಾವು ಅವರಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಇದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅರ್ಗೋಬಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ದೇಶ ವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅರವತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು; ಇವೇ ಬಾಷಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಓಗನ ರಾಜ್ಯವು.
And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
5 ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಗೋಡೆಬಾಗಲು ಅಗುಳಿಗಳಿಂದ ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೈಲು ಸೀಮೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಇದ್ದವು.

6 ನಾವು ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು; ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಮಕ್ಕ ಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡಿದೆವು.
And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.
7 ಆದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡೆವು.
But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.
8 ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ನೋನ್ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಹೆರ್ಮೋನ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಅರ ಸರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡೆವು.
And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;
9 (ಆ ಹೆರ್ಮೋನಿಗೆ ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರು ಸಿರ್ಯೋನೆಂದೂ ಅಮೋರಿಯರು ಸೇನೀಯರೆಂದೂ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.)
(Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;)
10 ಬೈಲು ಸೀಮೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನ್ನೂ ಬಾಷಾನಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಓಗನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಾದ ಸಲ್ಕಾ, ಎದ್ರೈ ವರೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಷಾನನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡೆವು,
All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
11 ಮಹಾ ಶರೀರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರೊಳಗೆ ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಓಗನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿದನು; ಅಗೋ, ಅವನ ಮಂಚವು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಮಂಚ; ಅದು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಬ್ಬಾನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅದರ ಉದ್ದವು ಪುರುಷನ ಕೈಯಳತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಂಭತ್ತು ಮೊಳ, ಅಗಲವು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮೊಳ ಇತ್ತು.
