Amos 5
1 ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗೋಳಾ ಟದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನೆತ್ತುವ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
2 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕನ್ಯೆಯು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಎದ್ದೇಳುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತೊರೆದು ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
3 ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟವರು ನೂರು ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆ ಸೇರಲು ನೂರು ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟವರು ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವರು.
1 Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
2 The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.
3 For thus saith the Lord God; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
