ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ದಾವೀದನು ದಣಿದು ಹೋದನು.
