உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த இந்த நல்ல தேசத்திலிருந்து உங்களை நிர்மூலமாக்குமட்டும், கர்த்தர் உங்கள்மேல் சகல தீமையான காரியங்களையும் வரப்பண்ணுவார்; கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் உங்கள்மேல் பற்றியெரியும்; அவர் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த நல்ல தேசத்திலிருந்து நீங்கள் சீக்கிரமாய் அழிந்துபோவீர்கள் என்றான்.

உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரோடு செய்த உடன்படிக்கையை நீங்கள் மீறினால் இவ்வாறு நிகழும். நீங்கள் போய், அந்நிய தெய்வங்களை ஆராதித்தால் உங்கள் நிலத்தை இழப்பீர்கள். நீங்கள் அவ்வாறு செய்தால், கர்த்தர் உங்கள் மீது கோபமைடைவார். அப்போது அவர் உங்களுக்குத் தந்த இந்த நல்ல இடத்தைவிட்டு விரைவில் துரத்தப்படுவீர்கள்” என்றான்.
