Job 38 in Tamil

1 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: பெருங்காற்றிலிருந்து யோபுக்கு பிரதியுத்தரமாக: Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

2 அறிவில்லாத வார்த்தைகளினால் ஆலோசனையை அந்தகாரப்படுத்துகிற இவன் யார்? Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

3 இப்போதும் புருஷனைப்போல் இடைகட்டிக்கொள்; நான் உன்னைக்கேட்பேன்; நீ எனக்கு உத்தரவு சொல்லு. Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

4 நான் பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்துகிறபோது நீ எங்கே இருந்தாய்? நீ அறிவாளியானால் அதை அறிவி. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

5 அதற்கு அளவு குறித்தவர் யார்? அதின்மேல் நூல்போட்டவர் யார்? இதை நீ அறிந்திருந்தால் சொல்லு. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

6 அதின் ஆதாரங்கள் எதின்மேல் போடப்பட்டது? அதின் கோடிக்கல்லை வைத்தவர் யார்? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

7 அப்பொழுது விடிற்காலத்து நட்சத்திரங்கள் ஏகமாய்ப் பாடி, தேவபுத்திரர் எல்லாரும் கெம்பீரித்தார்களே. When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8 கர்ப்பத்திலிருந்து உதிக்கிறதுபோல சமுத்திரம் புரண்டுவந்தபோது, அதைக் கதவுகளால் அடைத்தவர் யார்? Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

9 மேகத்தை அதற்கு வஸ்திரமாகவும், இருளை அதற்குப் புடவையாகவும் நான் உடுத்தினபோதும். When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,

10 நான் அதற்கு எல்லையைக் குறித்து, அதற்குத் தாழ்ப்பாள்களையும் கதவுகளையும் போட்டு: And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,

11 இம்மட்டும் வா, மிஞ்சி வராதே; உன் அலைகளின் பெருமை இங்கே அடங்கக்கடவது என்று நான் சொல்லுகிறபோதும் நீ எங்கேயிருந்தாய்? And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

12 துஷ்டர்கள் பூமியிலிருந்து உதறிப்போடப்படும்படிக்கு, அதின் கடையாந்தரங்களைப் பிடிக்கும்பொருட்டு, Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

13 உன் ஜீவகாலத்தில் எப்போதாவது நீ விடியற்காலத்துக்குக் கட்டளைகொடுத்து, அருணோதயத்துக்கு அதின் இடத்தைக் காண்பித்ததுண்டோ? That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

14 பூமி முத்திரையிடப்பட்ட களிம்பைபோல் வேறே ரூபங்கொள்ளும்; சகலமும் வஸ்திரம் தரித்திருக்கிறதுபோல் காணப்படும். It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.

15 துன்மார்க்கரின் ஒளி அவர்களைவிட்டு எடுபடும்; மேட்டிமையான புயம் முறிக்கப்படும். And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

16 நீ சமுத்திரத்தின் அடித்தலங்கள்மட்டும் புகுந்து ஆழத்தின் அடியில் உலாவினதுண்டோ? Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

17 மரணவாசல்கள் உனக்குத் திறந்ததுண்டோ? மரண இருளின் வாசல்களை நீ பார்த்ததுண்டோ? Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?

18 பூமியின் விசாலங்களை ஆராய்ந்து அறிந்ததுண்டோ? இவைகளையெல்லாம் நீ அறிந்திருந்தால் சொல்லு. Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

19 வெளிச்சம் வாசமாயிருக்குமிடத்துக்கு வழியெங்கே? இருள் குடிகொண்டிருக்கும் ஸ்தானமெங்கே? Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

20 அதின் எல்லை இன்னதென்று உனக்குத் தெரியுமோ? அதின் வீட்டுக்குப்போகிற பாதையை அறிந்திருக்கிறாயோ? That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?

21 நீ அதை அறியும்படி அப்போது பிறந்திருந்தாயோ? உன் நாட்களின்தொகை அவ்வளவு பெரிதோ? Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

22 உறைந்த மழையின் பண்டசாலைகளுக்குள் நீ பிரவேசித்தாயோ? கல்மழையிருக்கிற பண்டசாலைகளைப் பார்த்தாயோ? Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

23 ஆபத்து வருங்காலத்திலும் கலகமும் யுத்தமும் வருங்காலத்திலும், பிரயோகிக்கும்படி நான் அவைகளை வைத்துவைத்திருக்கிறேன். Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

24 வெளிச்சம் பரவப்படுகிறதற்கும், கீழ்காற்று பூமியின்மேல் வீசுகிறதற்குமான வழி எங்கே? By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

25 பாழும் அந்தரவெளியுமான தரையைத் திருப்தியாக்கி இளம்பூண்டுகளின் முளைகளை முளைக்கப்பண்ணும்படி, Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

26 பூமியெங்கும் மனுஷர் குடியில்லாத இடத்திலும், மனுஷசஞ்சாரமில்லாத வனாந்தரத்திலும் மழையை வருஷிக்கப்பண்ணி, To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

27 வெள்ளத்துக்கு நீர்க்கால்களையும் இடிமுழக்கங்களோடு வரும் மின்னலுக்கு வழிகளையும் பகுத்தவர் யார்? To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

28 மழைக்கு ஒரு தகப்பனுண்டோ? பனித்துளிகளை ஜநிப்பித்தவர் யார்? Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

29 உறைந்த தண்ணீர் யாருடைய வயிற்றிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிறது? ஆகாயத்தினுடைய உறைந்த பனியைப்பெற்றவர் யார்? Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

30 ஜலம் கல்லுருவங்கொண்டு மறைந்து, ஆழத்தின் முகம் கெட்டியாய் உறைந்திருக்கிறதே. The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

31 அறுமீன் நட்சத்திரத்தின் சுகிர்த சம்பந்தத்தை நீ இணைக்கக்கூடுமோ? அல்லது மிருகசீரிஷத்தின் கட்டுகளை அவிழ்ப்பாயோ? Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

32 இராசிகளை, அதினதின் காலத்திலே வரப்பண்ணுவாயோ? துருவச்சக்கர நட்சத்திரத்தையும் அதைச்சேர்ந்த நட்சத்திரங்களையும் வழிநடத்துவாயோ? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

33 வானத்தின் நியமங்களை நீ அறிவாயோ? அது பூமியையாளும் ஆளுகையை நீ திட்டம்பண்ணுவாயோ? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

34 ஏராளமான தண்ணீர் உன்மேல் சொரியவேணும் என்று உன் சத்தத்தை மேகங்கள்பரியந்தம் உயர்த்துவாயோ? Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?

35 நீ மின்னல்களை அழைத்தனுப்பி, அவைகள் புறப்பட்டுவந்து: அங்கேயிருக்கிறோம் என்று உனக்கு சொல்லும்படி செய்வாயோ? Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are?

36 அந்தக்கரணங்களில் ஞானத்தை வைத்தவர் யார்? உள்ளத்தில் புத்தியைக் கொடுத்தவர் யார்? Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

37 ஞானத்தினாலே கொடிமாசிகளை எண்ணுபவர் யார்? Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,

38 தூளானது ஏகபாளமாகவும், மண்கட்டிகள் ஒன்றோடொன்று ஒட்டிக்கொள்ளவும், ஆகாயத்துருத்திகளிலுள்ள தண்ணீரைப் பொழியப்பண்ணுகிறவர் யார்? When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

39 நீ சிங்கத்துக்கு இரையை வேட்டையாடி, Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,

40 சிங்கக்குட்டிகள் தாங்கள் தங்கும் இடங்களிலே கிடந்து கெபியிலே பதிவிருக்கிறபோது, அவைகளின் ஆசையைத் திருப்தியாக்குவாயோ? When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?

41 காக்கைக்குஞ்சுகள் தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு, ஆகாரமில்லாமல் பறந்து அலைகிறபோது, அவைகளுக்கு இரையைச் சவதரித்துக் கொடுக்கிறவர் யார்? Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

1 Appoluthu Karththar: perungaattilirunthu yopukku pirathiyuththaramaaka: Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

2 Arivillaatha vaarththaikalinaal aalosanaiyai anthakaarappaduththukira ivan yaar? Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

3 Ippothum purushanaippol itaikattikkol; naan unnaikkaetpaen; nee enakku uththaravu sollu. Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

4 Naan poomiyai asthipaarappaduththukirapothu nee engae irunthaay? Nee arivaaliyaanaal athai arivi. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

5 Atharku alavu kuriththavar yaar? Athinmael noolpottavar yaar? Ithai nee arinthirunthaal sollu. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

6 Athin aathaarangal ethinmael podappattathu? Athin kotikkallai vaiththavar yaar? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

7 Appoluthu vitirkaalaththu natchaththirangal aekamaayp paati, thaevapuththirar ellaarum kempeeriththaarkalae. When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

8 Karppaththilirunthu uthikkirathupola samuththiram purannduvanthapothu, athaik kathavukalaal ataiththavar yaar? Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

9 Maekaththai atharku vasthiramaakavum, irulai atharkup pudavaiyaakavum naan uduththinapothum. When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,

10 Naan atharku ellaiyaik kuriththu, atharkuth thaalppaalkalaiyum kathavukalaiyum pottu: And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,

11 Immattum vaa, minji varaathae; un alaikalin perumai ingae adangakkadavathu entu naan sollukirapothum nee engaeyirunthaay? And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

12 Thushdarkal poomiyilirunthu utharippodappadumpatikku, athin kataiyaantharangalaip pitikkumporuttu, Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

13 Un jeevakaalaththil eppothaavathu nee vitiyarkaalaththukkuk kattalaikoduththu, arunnothayaththukku athin idaththaik kaannpiththathunntoo? That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

16 Nee samuththiraththin atiththalangalmattum pukunthu aalaththin atiyil ulaavinathunntoo? Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

17 Maranavaasalkal unakkuth thiranthathunntoo? Marana irulin vaasalkalai nee paarththathunntoo? Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?

18 Poomiyin visaalangalai aaraaynthu arinthathunntoo? Ivaikalaiyellaam nee arinthirunthaal sollu. Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

19 Velichcham vaasamaayirukkumidaththukku valiyengae? Irul kutikonntirukkum sthaanamengae? Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

20 Athin ellai innathentu unakkuth theriyumo? Athin veettukkuppokira paathaiyai arinthirukkiraayo? That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?

21 Nee athai ariyumpati appothu piranthirunthaayo? Un naatkalinthokai avvalavu peritho? Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

22 Uraintha malaiyin panndasaalaikalukkul nee piravaesiththaayo? Kalmalaiyirukkira panndasaalaikalaip paarththaayo? Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

23 Aapaththu varungaalaththilum kalakamum yuththamum varungaalaththilum, pirayokikkumpati naan avaikalai vaiththuvaiththirukkiraேn. Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

24 Velichcham paravappadukiratharkum, geelkaattaு poomiyinmael veesukiratharkumaana vali engae? By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

25 Paalum antharaveliyumaana tharaiyaith thirupthiyaakki ilampoonndukalin mulaikalai mulaikkappannnumpati, Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

26 Poomiyengum manushar kutiyillaatha idaththilum, manushasanjaaramillaatha vanaantharaththilum malaiyai varushikkappannnni, To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;

27 Vellaththukku neerkkaalkalaiyum itimulakkangalodu varum minnalukku valikalaiyum pakuththavar yaar? To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

28 Malaikku oru thakappanunntoo? Paniththulikalai janippiththavar yaar? Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?

29 Uraintha thannnneer yaarutaiya vayittilirunthu purappadukirathu? Aakaayaththinutaiya uraintha paniyaippettavar yaar? Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

30 Jalam kalluruvangaொnndu marainthu, aalaththin mukam kettiyaay urainthirukkirathae. The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

31 Araுmeen natchaththiraththin sukirtha sampanthaththai nee innaikkakkoodumo? Allathu mirukaseerishaththin kattukalai avilppaayo? Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

32 Iraasikalai, athinathin kaalaththilae varappannnuvaayo? Thuruvachchakkara natchaththiraththaiyum athaichchaேrntha natchaththirangalaiyum valinadaththuvaayo? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

33 Vaanaththin niyamangalai nee arivaayo? Athu poomiyaiyaalum aalukaiyai nee thittampannnuvaayo? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

34 Aeraalamaana thannnneer unmael soriyavaenum entu un saththaththai maekangalpariyantham uyarththuvaayo? Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?

35 Nee minnalkalai alaiththanuppi, avaikal purappattuvanthu: angaeyirukkirom entu unakku sollumpati seyvaayo? Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are?

36 Anthakkaranangalil njaanaththai vaiththavar yaar? Ullaththil puththiyaik koduththavar yaar? Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?

37 Njaanaththinaalae kotimaasikalai ennnupavar yaar? Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,

38 Thoolaanathu aekapaalamaakavum, mannkattikal ontotontu ottikkollavum, aakaayaththuruththikalilulla thannnneeraip poliyappannnukiravar yaar? When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

39 Nee singaththukku iraiyai vaettaைyaati, Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,

40 Singakkuttikal thaangal thangum idangalilae kidanthu kepiyilae pathivirukkirapothu, avaikalin aasaiyaith thirupthiyaakkuvaayo? When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?

41 Kaakkaikkunjukal thaevanai Nnokkik kooppittu, aakaaramillaamal paranthu alaikirapothu, avaikalukku iraiyaich savathariththuk kodukkiravar yaar? Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
