Jeremiah 22 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தர் சொன்னது: நீ யூதா ராஜாவின் அரமனைக்குப் போய், அங்கே வேண்டிய வசனம் என்னவென்றால்: Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,

2 தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிற யூதாவின் ராஜாவே, நீரும் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரும் இந்த வாசல்களுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கிற உம்முடைய ஜனமும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள். And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates:

3 நீங்கள் நியாயமும் நீதியும்செய்து, பறிகொடுத்தவனை ஒடுக்குகிறவனுடைய கைக்குத் தப்புவியுங்கள்; நீங்கள் பரதேசியையும் திக்கற்றவனையும் விதவையையும் ஒடுக்காமலும், கொடுமைசெய்யாமலும், இவ்விடத்தில் குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தாமலும் இருங்கள். Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

4 இந்த வார்த்தையின்படியே நீங்கள் மெய்யாய்ச் செய்வீர்களாகில், தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தில் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிற ராஜாக்கள் இரதங்கள்மேலும் குதிரைகள்மேலும் ஏறி, அவனும் அவன் ஊழியக்காரரும் அவன் ஜனமுமாக இந்த அரமனை வாசல்களின் வழியாய் உட்பிரவேசிப்பார்களென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.

5 நீங்கள் இந்த வார்த்தைகளைக்கேளாமற்போனீர்களேயாகில் இந்த அரமனை பாழாய்ப்போம் என்று என்பேரில் ஆணையிட்டேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.

6 யூதா ராஜாவின் அரமனையைக் குறித்துக் கர்த்தர்: நீ எனக்குக் கீலேயாத்தைப்போலவும் லீபனோனின் கொடுமுடியைப்போலவும் இருக்கிறாய், ஆனாலும் மெய்யாகவே நான் உன்னை வனாந்தரத்தைப்போலவும், குடியில்லாத பட்டணங்களைப்போலவும் ஆக்கிவிடுவேன். For thus saith the LORD unto the king's house of Judah; Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.

7 சங்காரகாரரை அவரவர் ஆயுதங்களோடுகூட நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக ஆயத்தப்படுத்துவேன்; உன் உச்சிதமான கேதுருக்களை அவர்கள் வெட்டி அக்கினியிலே போடுவார்கள் And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.

8 அநேகம் ஜாதிகள் இந்த நகரத்தைக் கடந்துவந்து, அவனவன் தன் தன் அயலானை நோக்கி: இந்தப்பெரிய நகரத்துக்குக் கர்த்தர் இப்படிச் செய்தது என்னவென்று கேட்பார்கள். And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city?

9 அதற்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: அவர்கள் தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் உடன்படிக்கையை விட்டுவிட்டு, அந்நிய தேவர்களைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு, அவைகளுக்கு ஆராதனைசெய்தபடியினால் இப்படியாயிற்று என்பார்களென்று சொல்லுகிறார். Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.

10 மரித்தவனுக்காக அழவேண்டாம், அவனுக்காகப் பரிதபிக்கவும்வேண்டாம், சிறைப்பட்டுப்போனவனுக்காகவே அழுங்கள்; அவன் இனித் திரும்பவருவதுமில்லை, ஜநந பூமியைக் காண்பதுமில்லை. Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.

11 தன் தகப்பனாகிய யோசியாவின் பட்டத்துக்கு வந்து, அரசாண்டு, இவ்விடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போன யூதாவின் ராஜாவாயிருந்த யோசியாவின் குமாரனாகிய சல்லுூமைக்குறித்து: அவன் இனி இங்கே திரும்ப வராமல், For thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:

12 தான் கொண்டுபோகப்பட்ட ஸ்தலத்திலே மரிப்பான், இந்ததேசத்தை அவன் இனிக் காண்பதில்லையென்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். But he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.

13 தனக்கு விஸ்தாரமான வீட்டையும் காற்று வீசும் விசாலமான மேலறைகளையும் கட்டுவானென்று சொல்லி, பலகணிகளைத் தனக்குத் திறந்து, கேதுரு பலகைகளை வைத்து, ஜாதிலிங்கவருணம் பூசி, Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

14 அநீதியினாலே தன் வீட்டையும், அநியாயத்தினாலே தன் மேலறைகளையும் கட்டி, தன் அயலான் செய்யும் வேலைக்குக் கூலிகொடாமல் அவனைச் சும்மா வேலைகொள்ளுகிறவனுக்கு ஐயோ! That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

15 நீ கேதுருமர மாளிகைகளில் உலாவுகிறபடியினாலே ராஜாவாயிருப்பாயோ? உன் தகப்பன் போஜனபானம்பண்ணி, நியாயமும் நீதியுஞ்செய்தபோது அவன் சுகமாய் வாழ்ந்திருக்கவில்லையோ? Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?

16 அவன் சிறுமையும் எளிமையுமானவனுடைய நியாயத்தை விசாரித்தான்; அப்பொழுது சுகமாய் வாழ்ந்தான்; அப்படிச் செய்வதல்லவோ என்னை அறிகிற அறிவு என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.

17 உன் கண்களும் உன் மனதுமோவென்றால் தற்பொழிவின்மேலும், குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்துவதின்மேலும், இடுக்கமும் நொறுக்குதலும் செய்வதின்மேலுமே அல்லாமல் வேறொன்றின்மேலும் வைக்கப்படவில்லை. But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

18 ஆகையால், கர்த்தர் யோசியாவின் குமாரனாகிய யோயாக்கீம் என்கிற யூதாவின் ராஜாவைக்குறித்து: ஐயோ! என் சகோதரனே, ஐயோ! சகோதரியே என்று அவனுக்காகப் புலம்புவதில்லை; ஐயோ! ஆண்டவனே, ஐயோ! அவருடைய மகத்துவமே, என்று அவனுக்காகப் புலம்புவதில்லை. Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

19 ஒரு கழுதை புதைக்கப்படுகிறவண்ணமாய் அவன் எருசலேமின் வாசல்களுக்கு வெளியே இழுத்தெறிந்து புதைக்கப்படுவான் என்று சொல்லுகிறார். He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

20 லீபனோனின்மேலேறிப் புலம்பு, பாசானில் உரத்த சத்தமிடு, ஆபரீமிலிருந்து கூப்பிட்டுக்கொண்டிரு, உன் நேசர் அனைவரும் முறிந்தார்கள். Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all thy lovers are destroyed.

21 நீ சுகமாய் வாழ்ந்திருக்கையில் நான் உனக்குச் சொன்னேன், நீ கேளேன் என்றாய், உன் சிறுவயதுமுதல் நீ என் சத்தத்தைக் கேளாமற்போகிறதே உன் வழக்கம். I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.

22 உன் மேய்ப்பர்கள் எல்லாரையும் காற்று அடித்துக்கொண்டுபோகும்; உன் நேசர் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போவார்கள்; அப்போதல்லவோ எல்லாப் பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தமும் நீ வெட்கப்பட்டு இலச்சையடைவாய். The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.

23 லீபனோனில் வாசமாயிருந்து, கேதுருமரங்களில் கூடுகட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறவளே, வேதனைகளும் பிள்ளைப்பெறுகிறவளுக்கொத்த வாதையும் உனக்கு வருகையில் நீ எவ்வளவு பரிதபிக்கப்படத்தக்கவளாயிருப்பாய்! O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!

24 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோயாக்கீமின் குமாரன் கோனியா என் வலதுகையின் முத்திரை மோதிரமாயிருந்தாலும், அதிலிருந்து உன்னைக் கழற்றி எறிந்துபோடுவேன் என்று என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;

25 உன் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும் நீ பயப்படுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும் உன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரின் கையிலும் கல்தேயரின் கையிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

26 உன்னையும், உன்னைப் பெற்ற தாயையும், உங்கள் ஜநந பூமியல்லாத அந்நிய தேசத்திலே துரத்திவிடுவேன். அங்கே சாவீர்கள். And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die.

27 திரும்புவதற்குத் தங்கள் ஆத்துமா வாஞ்சிக்கும் தேசத்துக்கு அவர்கள் திரும்பிவருவதில்லை. But to the land whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not return.

28 கோனியா என்கிற இந்த மனுஷன் அவமதிக்கப்பட்ட உடைந்த சிலையோ ஒருவரும் விரும்பாத பாத்திரமோ அவனும் அவன் சந்ததியும் தள்ளுண்டதும், தாங்கள் அறியாததேசத்திலே துரத்திவிடப்பட்டதும் ஏது? Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

29 தேசமே! தேசமே! தேசமே! கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேள். O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

30 இந்தப் புருஷன் சந்தானமற்றவன், தன் நாட்களில் வாழ்வடையாதவன் என்று இவனைக்குறித்து எழுதுங்கள்; அவன் வித்தில் ஒருவனாகிலும் வாழ்வடைந்து, தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தில் வீற்றிருந்து யூதாவில் அரசாளப்போகிறதில்லை என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

1 Karththar sonnathu: nee yoothaa raajaavin aramanaikkup poy, angae vaenntiya vasanam ennavental: Thus saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,

2 Thaaveethin singaasanaththil veettirukkira yoothaavin raajaavae, neerum ummutaiya ooliyakkaararum intha vaasalkalukkul piravaesikkira ummutaiya janamum karththarutaiya vaarththaiyaik kaelungal. And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates:

3 Neengal niyaayamum neethiyumseythu, parikoduththavanai odukkukiravanutaiya kaikkuth thappuviyungal; neengal parathaesiyaiyum thikkattavanaiyum vithavaiyaiyum odukkaamalum, kodumaiseyyaamalum, ivvidaththil kuttamillaatha iraththaththaich sinthaamalum irungal. Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

4 Intha vaarththaiyinpatiyae neengal meyyaaych seyveerkalaakil, thaaveethin singaasanaththil utkaarnthirukkira raajaakkal irathangalmaelum kuthiraikalmaelum aeri, avanum avan ooliyakkaararum avan janamumaaka intha aramanai vaasalkalin valiyaay utpiravaesippaarkalentu Karththar sollukiraar. 5 Neengal intha vaarththaikalaikkaelaamarponeerkalaeyaakil intha aramanai paalaayppom entu enpaeril aannaiyittaேn entu Karththar sollukiraar. But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.

6 Yoothaa raajaavin aramanaiyaik kuriththuk Karththar: nee enakkuk geelaeyaaththaippolavum leepanonin kodumutiyaippolavum irukkiraay, aanaalum meyyaakavae naan unnai vanaantharaththaippolavum, kutiyillaatha pattanangalaippolavum aakkividuvaen. For thus saith the LORD unto the king's house of Judah; Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.

7 Sangaarakaararai avaravar aayuthangalodukooda naan unakku virothamaaka aayaththappaduththuvaen; un uchchithamaana kaethurukkalai avarkal vetti akkiniyilae poduvaarkal And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.

8 Anaekam jaathikal intha nakaraththaik kadanthuvanthu, avanavan than than ayalaanai Nnokki: inthapperiya nakaraththukkuk Karththar ippatich seythathu ennaventu kaetpaarkal. And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city?

9 Atharkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: avarkal thangal thaevanaakiya karththarin udanpatikkaiyai vittuvittu, anniya thaevarkalaip panninthukonndu, avaikalukku aaraathanaiseythapatiyinaal ippatiyaayittaு enpaarkalentu sollukiraar. Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.

10 Mariththavanukkaaka alavaenndaam, avanukkaakap parithapikkavumvaenndaam, siraippattupponavanukkaakavae alungal; avan inith thirumpavaruvathumillai, janana poomiyaik kaannpathumillai. Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.

11 Than thakappanaakiya yosiyaavin pattaththukku vanthu, arasaanndu, ivvidaththilirunthu purappattuppona yoothaavin raajaavaayiruntha yosiyaavin kumaaranaakiya salluூmaikkuriththu: avan ini ingae thirumpa varaamal, For thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:

12 Thaan konndupokappatta sthalaththilae marippaan, inthathaesaththai avan inik kaannpathillaiyentu Karththar sollukiraar. But he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.

13 Thanakku visthaaramaana veettaைyum kaattaு veesum visaalamaana maelaraikalaiyum kattuvaanentu solli, palakannikalaith thanakkuth thiranthu, kaethuru palakaikalai vaiththu, jaathilingavarunam poosi, Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

14 Aneethiyinaalae than veettaைyum, aniyaayaththinaalae than maelaraikalaiyum katti, than ayalaan seyyum vaelaikkuk koolikodaamal avanaich summaa vaelaikollukiravanukku aiyo! That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

15 Nee kaethurumara maalikaikalil ulaavukirapatiyinaalae raajaavaayiruppaayo? Un thakappan pojanapaanampannnni, niyaayamum neethiyunjaெythapothu avan sukamaay vaalnthirukkavillaiyo? Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?

16 Avan siraுmaiyum elimaiyumaanavanutaiya niyaayaththai visaariththaan; appoluthu sukamaay vaalnthaan; appatich seyvathallavo ennai arikira arivu entu Karththar sollukiraar. He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.

17 Un kannkalum un manathumovental tharpolivinmaelum, kuttamillaatha iraththaththaich sinthuvathinmaelum, idukkamum noraுkkuthalum seyvathinmaelumae allaamal vaerontinmaelum vaikkappadavillai. But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

18 Aakaiyaal, Karththar yosiyaavin kumaaranaakiya yoyaakgeem enkira yoothaavin raajaavaikkuriththu: aiyo! En sakotharanae, aiyo! Sakothariyae entu avanukkaakap pulampuvathillai; aiyo! Aanndavanae, aiyo! Avarutaiya makaththuvamae, entu avanukkaakap pulampuvathillai. Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

19 Oru kaluthai puthaikkappadukiravannnamaay avan erusalaemin vaasalkalukku veliyae iluththerinthu puthaikkappaduvaan entu sollukiraar. He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

20 Leepanoninmaelaerip pulampu, paasaanil uraththa saththamidu, aapareemilirunthu kooppittukkonntiru, un naesar anaivarum murinthaarkal. Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all thy lovers are destroyed.

21 Nee sukamaay vaalnthirukkaiyil naan unakkuch sonnaen, nee kaelaen entay, un siraுvayathumuthal nee en saththaththaik kaelaamarpokirathae un valakkam. I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.

22 Un maeypparkal ellaaraiyum kaattaு atiththukkonndupokum; un naesar siraippattuppovaarkal; appothallavo ellaap pollaappinimiththamum nee vetkappattu ilachchaைyataivaay. 23 Leepanonil vaasamaayirunthu, kaethurumarangalil koodukattikkonntirukkiravalae, vaethanaikalum pillaipperaுkiravalukkoththa vaathaiyum unakku varukaiyil nee evvalavu parithapikkappadaththakkavalaayiruppaay! 24 Yoothaavin raajaavaakiya yoyaakgeemin kumaaran koniyaa en valathukaiyin muththirai mothiramaayirunthaalum, athilirunthu unnaik kalatti erinthupoduvaen entu en jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn entu Karththar sollukiraar. As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence;

25 Un piraananai vaangaththaedukiravarkalin kaiyilum nee payappadukiravarkalin kaiyilum unnai oppukkoduppaen; paapilon raajaavaakiya naepukaathnaechchaாrin kaiyilum kalthaeyarin kaiyilum oppukkoduppaen; And I will give thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

26 Unnaiyum, unnaip petta thaayaiyum, ungal janana poomiyallaatha anniya thaesaththilae thuraththividuvaen. Angae saaveerkal. And I will cast thee out, and thy mother that bare thee, into another country, where ye were not born; and there shall ye die.

27 Thirumpuvatharkuth thangal aaththumaa vaanjikkum thaesaththukku avarkal thirumpivaruvathillai. But to the land whereunto they desire to return, thither shall they not return.

28 Koniyaa enkira intha manushan avamathikkappatta utaintha silaiyo oruvarum virumpaatha paaththiramo avanum avan santhathiyum thallunndathum, thaangal ariyaathathaesaththilae thuraththividappattathum aethu? Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

29 Thaesamae! Thaesamae! Thaesamae! Karththarutaiya vaarththaiyaik kael. O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

30 Inthap purushan santhaanamattavan, than naatkalil vaalvataiyaathavan entu ivanaikkuriththu eluthungal; avan viththil oruvanaakilum vaalvatainthu, thaaveethin singaasanaththil veettirunthu yoothaavil arasaalappokirathillai entu Karththar sollukiraar. Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
