כֹּ֚ה Thus kō אָמַ֣ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֔ה the Lord, yĕhōwâ שִׁמְר֥וּ Keep šāmar מִשְׁפָּ֖ט ye judgment, mišpāṭ וַעֲשׂ֣וּ and do ʿāśâ צְדָקָ֑ה justice: ṣĕdāqâ כִּֽי for kî קְרוֹבָ֤ה near qārôb יְשֽׁוּעָתִי֙ my salvation yĕšûʿâ לָב֔וֹא to come, bôʾ וְצִדְקָתִ֖י and my righteousness ṣĕdāqâ לְהִגָּלֽוֹת׃ to be revealed. gālâ

אַשְׁרֵ֤י Blessed ʾešer אֱנוֹשׁ֙ the man ʾîš יַעֲשֶׂה doeth ʿāśâ זֹּ֔את this, zōt וּבֶן and the son bēn אָדָ֖ם of man ʾādām יַחֲזִ֣יק layeth hold ḥāzaq בָּ֑הּ שֹׁמֵ֤ר on it; that keepeth šāmar שַׁבָּת֙ the sabbath šabbāt מֵֽחַלְּל֔וֹ from polluting ḥālal וְשֹׁמֵ֥ר it, and keepeth šāmar יָד֖וֹ his hand yād מֵעֲשׂ֥וֹת from doing ʿāśâ כָּל any kōl רָֽע׃ evil. raʿ

וְאַל Neither ʾal יֹאמַ֣ר speak, ʾāmar בֶּן let the son bēn הַנֵּכָ֗ר of the stranger, nēkār הַנִּלְוָ֤ה that hath joined himself lāwâ אֶל to ʾēl יְהוָה֙ the Lord, yĕhōwâ לֵאמֹ֔ר saying, ʾāmar הַבְדֵּ֧ל hath utterly bādal יַבְדִּילַ֛נִי separated bādal יְהוָ֖ה The Lord yĕhōwâ מֵעַ֣ל me from ʿal עַמּ֑וֹ his people: ʿam וְאַל neither ʾal יֹאמַר֙ say, ʾāmar הַסָּרִ֔יס let the eunuch sārîs הֵ֥ן Behold, hēn אֲנִ֖י I ʾănî עֵ֥ץ tree. ʿēṣ יָבֵֽשׁ׃ a dry yābēš

כִּי For kî כֹ֣ה׀ thus kō אָמַ֣ר saith ʾāmar יְהוָ֗ה the Lord yĕhōwâ לַסָּֽרִיסִים֙ unto the eunuchs sārîs אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ʾăšer יִשְׁמְרוּ֙ keep šāmar אֶת ʾēt שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֔י my sabbaths, šabbāt וּבָֽחֲר֖וּ and choose bāḥar בַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר that ʾăšer חָפָ֑צְתִּי please ḥāpēṣ וּמַחֲזִיקִ֖ים me, and take hold ḥāzaq בִּבְרִיתִֽי׃ of my covenant; bĕrît

וְנָתַתִּ֨י Even unto them will I give nātan לָהֶ֜ם בְּבֵיתִ֤י in mine house bayit וּבְחֽוֹמֹתַי֙ and within my walls ḥômâ יָ֣ד a place yād וָשֵׁ֔ם and a name šēm ט֖וֹב better ṭôb מִבָּנִ֣ים than of sons bēn וּמִבָּנ֑וֹת and of daughters: bat שֵׁ֤ם name, šēm עוֹלָם֙ them an everlasting ʿôlām אֶתֶּן I will give nātan ל֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֖ר that ʾăšer לֹ֥א shall not lōʾ יִכָּרֵֽת׃ be cut off. kārat

וּבְנֵ֣י Also the sons bēn הַנֵּכָ֗ר of the stranger, nēkār הַנִּלְוִ֤ים that join themselves lāwâ עַל to ʿal יְהוָה֙ the Lord, yĕhōwâ לְשָׁ֣רְת֔וֹ to serve šārat וּֽלְאַהֲבָה֙ him, and to love ʾāhab אֶת ʾēt שֵׁ֣ם the name šēm יְהוָ֔ה of the Lord, yĕhōwâ לִהְי֥וֹת to be hāyâ ל֖וֹ לַעֲבָדִ֑ים his servants, ʿebed כָּל every one kōl שֹׁמֵ֤ר that keepeth šāmar שַׁבָּת֙ the sabbath šabbāt מֵֽחַלְּל֔וֹ from polluting ḥālal וּמַחֲזִיקִ֖ים it, and taketh hold ḥāzaq בִּבְרִיתִֽי׃ of my covenant; bĕrît

וַהֲבִיאוֹתִ֞ים Even them will I bring bôʾ אֶל to ʾēl הַ֣ר mountain, har קָדְשִׁ֗י my holy qōdeš וְשִׂמַּחְתִּים֙ and make them joyful śāmaḥ בְּבֵ֣ית in my house bayit תְּפִלָּתִ֔י of prayer: tĕpillâ עוֹלֹתֵיהֶ֧ם their burnt offerings ʿōlâ וְזִבְחֵיהֶ֛ם and their sacrifices zebaḥ לְרָצ֖וֹן accepted rāṣôn עַֽל upon ʿal מִזְבְּחִ֑י mine altar; mizbēaḥ כִּ֣י for kî בֵיתִ֔י mine house bayit בֵּית an house bayit תְּפִלָּ֥ה of prayer tĕpillâ יִקָּרֵ֖א shall be called qārāʾ לְכָל for all kōl הָעַמִּֽים׃ people. ʿam

נְאֻם֙ saith, nĕʾum אֲדֹנָ֣י The Lord ʾădōnāy יְהוִ֔ה God yĕhōwi מְקַבֵּ֖ץ which gathereth qābaṣ נִדְחֵ֣י the outcasts dāḥâ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel yiśrāʾēl ע֛וֹד Yet ʿôd אֲקַבֵּ֥ץ will I gather qābaṣ עָלָ֖יו to ʿal לְנִקְבָּצָֽיו׃ him, beside those that are gathered unto him. qābaṣ

כֹּ֖ל All kōl חַיְת֣וֹ ye beasts ḥay שָׂדָ֑י of the field, śāde אֵתָ֕יוּ come ʾātâ לֶאֱכֹ֥ל to devour, ʾākal כָּל all kōl חַיְת֖וֹ ye beasts ḥay בַּיָּֽעַר׃ in the forest. yaʿar

צֹפָ֞ו His watchmen ṣāpâ עִוְרִ֤ים blind: ʿiwwēr כֻּלָּם֙ they are all kōl לֹ֣א lōʾ יָדָ֔עוּ ignorant, yādaʿ כֻּלָּם֙ they all kōl כְּלָבִ֣ים dogs, keleb אִלְּמִ֔ים dumb ʾillēm לֹ֥א lōʾ יוּכְל֖וּ they cannot yākōl לִנְבֹּ֑חַ bark; nābaḥ הֹזִים֙ sleeping, hāzâ שֹֽׁכְבִ֔ים lying down, šākab אֹהֲבֵ֖י loving ʾāhab לָנֽוּם׃ to slumber. nûm

וְהַכְּלָבִ֣ים dogs keleb עַזֵּי Yea, greedy ʿaz נֶ֗פֶשׁ nepeš לֹ֤א can never lōʾ יָֽדְעוּ֙ have yādaʿ שָׂבְעָ֔ה enough, śobʿâ וְהֵ֣מָּה and they hēm רֹעִ֔ים shepherds rāʿâ לֹ֥א lōʾ יָדְע֖וּ cannot yādaʿ הָבִ֑ין understand: bîn כֻּלָּם֙ they all kōl לְדַרְכָּ֣ם to their own way, derek פָּנ֔וּ look pānâ אִ֥ישׁ every one ʾîš לְבִצְע֖וֹ for his gain, beṣaʿ מִקָּצֵֽהוּ׃ from his quarter. qāṣe

אֵתָ֥יוּ Come ʾātâ אֶקְחָה ye, I will fetch lāqaḥ יַ֖יִן wine, yayin וְנִסְבְּאָ֣ה and we will fill sābāʾ שֵׁכָ֑ר ourselves with strong drink; šēkār וְהָיָ֤ה shall be hāyâ כָזֶה֙ as this ze י֣וֹם day, yôm מָחָ֔ר and to morrow māḥār גָּד֖וֹל abundant. gādôl יֶ֥תֶר more yeter מְאֹֽד׃ much mĕʾōd
