Isaiah 29:13
યહોવા મારા માલિક કહે છે, “આ લોકો મારી પાસે આવવાની માત્ર વાતો જ કરે છે, અને કેવળ શબ્દોથી મને માન આપે છે, પરંતુ તેમનું હૃદય તો મારાથી દૂર જ છે. તેઓની ઉપાસના તો તેઓએ કંઠસ્થ કરેલા માનવીય હુકમો જ છે.

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

as this הַזֶּ֔ה ze zeh
with their mouth, בְּפִ֤יו pe peh
and with their lips וּבִשְׂפָתָיו֙ śāpâ sa-FA
do honour כִּבְּד֔וּנִי kābad ka-VAHD
their heart וְלִבּ֖וֹ lēb lave
me, but have removed רִחַ֣ק rāḥaq ra-HAHK
far from מִמֶּ֑נִּי min meen
me is וַתְּהִ֤י hāyâ ha-YA
me, and their fear יִרְאָתָם֙ yārēʾ ya-RAY
toward אֹתִ֔י ʾēt ate
by the precept מִצְוַ֥ת miṣwâ meets-VA
of men: אֲנָשִׁ֖ים ʾîš eesh
