સિમોન પિતરે ઈસુને પૂછયું, “પ્રભુ, તું ક્યાં જાય છે?”ઈસુએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “હું જ્યાં જાઉં છું ત્યાં હવે તું મારી પાછળ આવી શકીશ નહિ, પણ તું પાછળથી અનુસરીશ.”

મારા પિતાના ઘરમાં ત્યાં ઘણાં ઓરડાઓ છે. જો તે સાચું ના હોત તો હું તમને આ કહેત નહિ. હું તમારા માટે જગ્યાની તૈયારી કરવા જાઉં છું.

હું જ્યાં જાઉ છું તે જગ્યાનો માર્ગ તમે જાણો છો.”
