Malachi 1:13
અને પછી કહો છો, આ કેવું કંટાળાજનક છે! તમે અપંગ, લૂલાં કે રોગી પશુઓ બલિ તરીકે ચઢાવો તો હું તેનો સ્વીકાર કરું ખરો? એમ યહોવા કહે છે.

| it, saith | אוֹת֗וֹ | ʾôtô | oh-TOH |
| the Lord | אָמַר֙ | ʾāmar | ah-MAHR |
| hosts; of | יְהוָ֣ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| and ye brought | צְבָא֔וֹת | ṣĕbāʾôt | tseh-va-OTE |
| torn, was which that | וַהֲבֵאתֶ֣ם | wahăbēʾtem | va-huh-vay-TEM |
| and the lame, | גָּז֗וּל | gāzûl | ɡa-ZOOL |
| sick; the and | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| thus ye brought | הַפִּסֵּ֙חַ֙ | happissēḥa | ha-pee-SAY-HA |
