Leviticus 23:22
“તમે જયારે પાક લણો, ત્યારે તમાંરે છેક ખેતરના શેઢા સૂધી વાઢવું નહિ. તેમજ મોડ પણ વીણી લેવા નહિ. તમાંરે તેને ગરીબો તથા વિદેશીઓ માંટે રહેવા દેવા. હું તમાંરો દેવ યહોવા છું.”

| of thy field | שָֽׂדְךָ֙ | śādĕkā | sa-deh-HA |
| when thou reapest, | בְּקֻצְרֶ֔ךָ | bĕquṣrekā | beh-koots-REH-ha |
| neither | וְלֶ֥קֶט | wĕleqeṭ | veh-LEH-ket |
| shalt thou gather | קְצִֽירְךָ֖ | qĕṣîrĕkā | keh-tsee-reh-HA |
| any gleaning | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| harvest: thy of | תְלַקֵּ֑ט | tĕlaqqēṭ | teh-la-KATE |
| thou shalt leave | לֶֽעָנִ֤י | leʿānî | leh-ah-NEE |
| poor, the unto them | וְלַגֵּר֙ | wĕlaggēr | veh-la-ɡARE |
| and to the stranger: | תַּֽעֲזֹ֣ב | taʿăzōb | ta-uh-ZOVE |
