Ezekiel 20 in Tamil

1 ஏழாம் வருஷத்து ஐந்தாம் மாதம் பத்தாந்தேதியிலே இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பரில் சிலர் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரிக்கும்படிவந்து, எனக்கு முன்பாக உட்கார்ந்தார்கள். And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me.

2 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: Then came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,

3 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ இஸ்ரவேல் மூப்பரோடே பேசி, அவர்களை நோக்கி கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் விசாரிக்க வந்தீர்களோ? நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் விசாரிக்க இடங்கொடேன் என்று என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல். Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.

4 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ அவர்களுக்காக வழக்காடுவாயோ? வழக்காட மனதானால், நீ அவர்கள் பிதாக்களின் அருவருப்புகளை அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியக்காட்டி, அவர்களை நோக்கி: Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers:

5 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், நான் இஸ்ரவேலைத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட நாளில் யாக்கோபுவம்சத்து ஜனங்களுக்கு நான் ஆணையிட்டு, எகிப்துதேசத்தில் என்னை அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தி, நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று ஆணையிட்டேன். And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;

6 நான் அவர்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து அழைப்பேன் என்றும், அவர்களுக்காக நான் பார்த்துவைத்ததும், பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிறதும் எல்லா தேசங்களின் சிங்காரமுமான தேசத்திலே அவர்களைக் கொண்டுவந்து விடுவேன் என்றும் அந்நாளிலே ஆணையிட்டு, In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:

7 உங்களில் அவரவர் தங்கள் கண்களால் நோக்கின அருவருப்புகளைத் தள்ளிவிட்டு, எகிப்தின் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களால் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாதிருப்பீர்களாக; உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நான் என்று அவர்களோடே சொன்னேன். Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

8 அவர்களோ, என் சொல்லைக் கேட்க மனதில்லாமல் எனக்கு விரோதமாய் இரண்டகம்பண்ணினார்கள்; அவரவர் தங்கள் கண்களால் நோக்கின அருவருப்புகளைத் தள்ளிப்போடாமலும், எகிப்தின் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களை விடாமலுமிருந்தார்கள்; ஆதலால் எகிப்து தேசத்தின் நடுவிலே என் கோபத்தை அவர்களிலே தீர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு என் உக்கிரத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் ஊற்றுவேன் என்றேன். But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

9 ஆகிலும் நான் என்னை இவர்களுக்குப் வெளிப்படுத்தி, இவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக என் நாமம் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாகாதபடிக்கு, இவர்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணி, அவர்களை என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் கிருபைசெய்தேன். But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

10 ஆகையால் நான் அவர்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணி, அவர்களை வனாந்தரத்தில் அழைத்துவந்து, Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.

11 என் கட்டளைகளை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்து, என் நியாயங்களை அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தினேன்; அவைகளின்படி செய்கிற மனுஷன் அவைகளால் பிழைப்பான். And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.

12 நான் தங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தர் என்று அவர்கள் அறியும்படிக்கு, எனக்கும் அவர்களுக்கும் அடையாளமாய் இருப்பதற்கான என் ஓய்வுநாட்களையும் அவர்களுக்கு, கட்டளையிட்டேன். Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

13 ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார் வனாந்தரத்தில் எனக்கு விரோதமாய் இரண்டகம்பண்ணினார்கள்; என் கட்டளைகளின்படியே மனுஷன் செய்தால் அவைகளால் பிழைப்பான்; அவர்களோ அவைகளில் நடவாமல், என் நியாயங்களை வெறுத்து, என் ஓய்வுநாட்களின் பரிசுத்தத்தை மிகவும் குலைத்துப்போட்டார்கள், ஆதலால் அவர்களை நிர்மூலமாக்கும்படி வனாந்தரத்திலே என் உக்கிரத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் ஊற்றுவேன் என்றேன். But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.

14 ஆகிலும் நான் இவர்களைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணினதைக் கண்ட புறஜாதிகளுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக என் நாமம் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாகாதபடிக்கு, என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் கிருபைசெய்தேன். But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

15 ஆனாலும் அவர்களுடைய இருதயம் அவர்களுடைய நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களைப் பின்பற்றி, அவர்கள் என் நியாயங்களை வெறுத்து, என் கட்டளைகளில் நடவாமற்போய், என் ஓய்வுநாட்களைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்கினபடியால், Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;

16 நான் வாக்குத்தத்தம்பண்ணினதும், பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிறதும், எல்லாதேசங்களின் சிங்காரமாயிருக்கிறதுமான தேசத்திலே அவர்களைக் கொண்டுவந்துவிடுவதில்லை என்று வனாந்தரத்தில் ஆணையிட்டேன். Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.

17 ஆகிலும் அவர்களை அழிக்காதபடிக்கு, என் கண் அவர்களைத் தப்பவிட்டது; நான் அவர்களை வனாந்தரத்தில் நிர்மூலமாக்கவில்லை. Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

18 வனாந்தரத்தில் அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிதாக்களின் முறைமைகளில் நடவாமலும் அவர்களுடைய நியாயங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமலும், அவர்களுடைய நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களால் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாமலும் இருங்கள். But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

19 உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே; நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளில் நடந்து, என் நியாயங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படியே செய்து, I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;

20 என் ஓய்வுநாட்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று நீங்கள் அறியும்படிக்கு அவைகள் எனக்கும் உங்களுக்கும் அடையாளமாயிருக்கும் என்றேன். And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

21 ஆனாலும் பிள்ளைகளும் எனக்கு விராதமாய் எழும்பினார்கள்; என் கட்டளைகளின்படியே மனுஷன் செய்தால் அவைகளால் பிழைப்பானே; அவர்களோ அவைகளில் நடவாமலும், என் நியாயங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு அவைகளின்படி செய்யாமலும், என் ஓய்வுநாட்களைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கிப்போட்டார்கள்; ஆகையால் வனாந்தரத்திலே என் கோபத்தை அவர்களில் தீர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்படி என் உக்கிரத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் ஊற்றுவேன் என்றேன். Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

22 ஆகிலும் நான் என் கையைத் திருப்பி, நான் இவர்களை புறப்படப்பண்ணினதைக் கண்ட புறஜாதிகளுடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக என் நாமம் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாகாதபடிக்கு, என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் கிருபைசெய்தேன். Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.

23 ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் என் நியாயங்களின்படி செய்யாமல், என் கட்டளைகளை வெறுத்து, என் ஓய்வுநாட்களை பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்கினபடியாலும், அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் அவர்கள் பிதாக்களின் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களின்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருந்தபடியாலும், I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries;

24 நான் அவர்களைப் புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சிதறடித்து, அவர்களை தேசங்கγிலே தூற்றிப்போடுகிѠΤற்கு வனாந்தரத்திலே ஆணையிட்டேன். Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.

25 ஆகையால் நன்மைக்கேதுவல்லாத கட்டளைகளையும் ஜீவனுக்கேதுவல்லாத நியாயங்களையும் நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன். Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;

26 நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அவர்கள் அறியத்தக்கதாக, நான் அவர்களைப் பாழாக்கும்படி, அவர்கள் கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கிறதையெல்லாம் தீக்கடக்கப்பண்ணி, இவ்விதமாய் அவர்களுடைய பலிகளினாலே அவர்களைத் தீட்டுப்படப்பண்ணினேன். And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.

27 ஆகையால் மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரோடே பேசி, அவர்களை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் இன்னும் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்த் துரோகம்பண்ணி, என்னைத் தூஷித்தார்கள். Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.

28 அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று ஆணையிட்ட தேசத்திலே நான் அவர்களைப் பிரவேசிக்கப்பண்ணினபின்பு, அவர்கள் உயர்ந்த ஒரு மேட்டையும் தழைத்த ஒரு விருட்சத்தையும் எங்கெங்கே கண்டார்களோ, அங்கங்கே தங்கள் பலிகளைச் செலுத்தி, அவ்விடங்களிலெல்லாம் எனக்கு எரிச்சல் உண்டாக்குகிற தங்கள் காணிக்கைகளைப் படைத்து, சுகந்த வாசனையான தங்கள் தூபங்களைக்காட்டி, தங்கள் பானபலிகளை வார்த்தார்கள். For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.

29 அப்பொழுது நான் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் போகிற அந்த மேடு என்னவென்று கேட்டேன்; அதினால் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் அதற்குப் பாமா என்று பேர். Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name whereof is called Bamah unto this day.

30 ஆகையால் நீ இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரை நோக்கி: கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், உங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய மார்க்கத்தின்படியே நீங்களும் தீட்டுப்பட்டவர்கள் அல்லவோ? அவர்களுடைய அருவருப்புகளை நீங்களும் பின்பற்றிச் சோரம்போகிறீர்கள் அல்லவோ? Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?

31 நீங்கள் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளைத் தீக்கடக்கப்பண்ணி, உங்கள் பலிகளைச்செலுத்துகிறபோது, இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் அவர்களுடைய எல்லா நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களாலும் நீங்கள் தீட்டுப்படுவீர்களே; நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் விசாரிக்க இடங்கொடுப்பேனோ இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் விசாரிக்கும்படி இடங்கொடுப்பதில்லை என்று என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார். For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.

32 மரத்துக்கும் கல்லுக்கும் ஆராதனைசெய்து, அஞ்ஞானிகளைப்போலவும் தேசத்து ஜனங்களின் ஜாதிகளைப்போலவும் இருப்போம் என்று சொல்லுகிறீர்களே; உங்கள் மனதில் எழும்புகிற இந்த நினைவின்படி ஆவதே இல்லை. And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.

33 பலத்த கையினாலும், ஓங்கிய புயத்தினாலும் ஊற்றப்பட்ட உக்கிரத்தினாலும், உங்களை ஆளுவேன் என்பதை என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார். As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:

34 நீங்கள் ஜனங்களுக்குள் இராதபடிக்கு நான் உங்களைப் புறப்படப்பண்ணி, நீங்கள் சிதறியிருக்கிற தேசங்களில் இராதபடிக்கு நான் உங்களைப் பலத்தகையினாலும், ஓங்கிய புயத்தினாலும், ஊற்றப்பட்ட உக்கிரத்திலும் கூடிவரச்செய்து, And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.

35 உங்களை ஜனசதளங்களின் வனாந்தரத்திலே கொண்டுபோய், அங்கே உங்களோடே முகமுகமாய் வழக்காடுவேன். And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.

36 நான் எகிப்துதேசத்தின் வனாந்தரத்தில் உங்கள் பிதாக்களோடு வழக்காடினதுபோல உங்களோடும் வழக்காடுவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.

37 நான் உங்களைக் கோலின்கீழ் செல்லும்படி செய்து, உங்களை உடன்படிக்கையின் கட்டுக்குட்படுத்தி, And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

38 கலகக்காரரையும் துரோகிகளையும் உங்களைவிட்டுப் பிரித்துப்போடுவேன்; அவர்களைத் தாங்கள் தங்கும் தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணுவேன்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தில் பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை; அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள். And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

39 இப்போதும் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, நீங்கள் என் சொல்லைக் கேட்கமனதில்லாதிருந்தால், நீங்கள் போய் அவனவன் தன் தன் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களை இன்னும் சேவியுங்கள்; ஆனாலும் என் பரிசுத்த நாமத்தை உங்கள் காணிக்கைகளாலும் உங்கள் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களாலும் இனிப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்காதிருங்கள் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.

40 இஸ்ரவேலின் உயரமான மலையாகிய என் பரிசுத்த மலையிலே இஸ்ரவேலுடைய எல்லா வம்சத்தாருமாகிய தேசத்திலுள்ள அனைவரும் என்னைச் சேவிப்பார்களென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அங்கே அவர்கள்மேல் பிரியம் வைப்பேன்; அங்கே நீங்கள் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணுகிற எல்லாவற்றிலும் உங்கள் காணிக்கைகளையும் உங்கள் முதற்பலன்களையும் செலுத்தும்படி கேட்பேன். For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.

41 நான் உங்களை ஜனங்களிலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணி, நீங்கள் சிதறுண்டிருக்கிற தேசங்களிலிருந்து உங்களைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளும்போது, சுகந்த வாசனையினிமித்தம் நான் உங்கள்பேரில் பிரியமாயிருப்பேன்; அப்பொழுது புறஜாதிகளின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக உங்களால் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணப்படுவேன். I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.

42 உங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று ஆணையிட்ட தேசமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலே நான் உங்களைத் திரும்பிவரப்பண்ணும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொண்டு, And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.

43 அங்கே உங்களுடைய எல்லா வழிகளையும் உங்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தின உங்களுடைய எல்லாக் கிரியைகளையும் நினைத்து, நீங்கள் செய்திருந்த உங்களுடைய எல்லாப் பொல்லாப்புகளினிமித்தமும் உங்களை நீங்களே அருவருப்பீர்கள். And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed.

44 இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, உங்கள் பொல்லாத வழிகளுக்குத் தக்கதாகவும், உங்கள் கெட்ட கிரியைகளுக்குத்தக்கதாகவும் நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யாமல், என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபைசெய்யும்போது, நான் கர்த்தர் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள் என்கிறதைக் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார். And ye shall know that I am the LORD when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

45 கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

46 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் முகத்தைத் தென்திசைக்கு நேரே திருப்பி, தெற்குக்கு விரோதமாக உன் வசனத்தைப்பொழிந்து, தென்புறமான வயல்வெளியின் காட்டுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;

And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.

48 கர்த்தராகிய நான் அதைக் கொளுத்தினேன் என்பதை எல்லா மாம்சமும் காணும்; அது அவிக்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று சொல் என்றார். And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

49 அப்பொழுது நான்: ஆ, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, இவன் உவமைகளையல்லவோ சொல்லுகிறான் என்று அவர்கள் என்னைக் குறித்துச் சொல்லுகிறார்கள் என்றேன். Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

1 Aelaam varushaththu ainthaam maatham paththaanthaethiyilae isravaelin moopparil silar karththaridaththil visaarikkumpativanthu, enakku munpaaka utkaarnthaarkal. And it came to pass in the seventh year, in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, that certain of the elders of Israel came to enquire of the LORD, and sat before me.

2 Appoluthu karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: Then came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,

3 Manupuththiranae, nee Israel moopparotae paesi, avarkalai Nnokki karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, neengal ennidaththil visaarikka vantheerkalo? Neengal ennidaththil visaarikka idangaொtaen entu en jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar entu sol. Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.

4 Manupuththiranae, nee avarkalukkaaka valakkaaduvaayo? Valakkaada manathaanaal, nee avarkal pithaakkalin aruvaruppukalai avarkalukkuth theriyakkaatti, avarkalai Nnokki: Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers:

5 Karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, naan isravaelaith therinthukonnda naalil yaakkopuvamsaththu janangalukku naan aannaiyittu, ekipthuthaesaththil ennai avarkalukkuth theriyappaduththi, naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar entu aannaiyittaேn. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;

6 Naan avarkalai ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu alaippaen entum, avarkalukkaaka naan paarththuvaiththathum, paalum thaenum odukirathum ellaa thaesangalin singaaramumaana thaesaththilae avarkalaik konnduvanthu viduvaen entum annaalilae aannaiyittu, In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:

7 Ungalil avaravar thangal kannkalaal Nnokkina aruvaruppukalaith thallivittu, ekipthin narakalaana vikkirakangalaal ungalaith theettuppaduththaathiruppeerkalaaka; ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar naan entu avarkalotae sonnaen. Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

9 Aakilum naan ennai ivarkalukkup velippaduththi, ivarkalukku munpaaka en naamam Parisuththakkulaichchalaakaathapatikku, ivarkalai ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnni, avarkalai en naamaththinimiththam kirupaiseythaen. But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known unto them, in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

10 Aakaiyaal naan avarkalai ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnni, avarkalai vanaantharaththil alaiththuvanthu, Wherefore I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.

11 En kattalaikalai avarkalukkuk koduththu, en niyaayangalai avarkalukkuth theriyappaduththinaen; avaikalinpati seykira manushan avaikalaal pilaippaan. And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.

12 Naan thangalaip Parisuththampannnukira Karththar entu avarkal ariyumpatikku, enakkum avarkalukkum ataiyaalamaay iruppatharkaana en oyvunaatkalaiyum avarkalukku, kattalaiyittaேn. Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

13 Aanaalum Israel vamsaththaar vanaantharaththil enakku virothamaay iranndakampannnninaarkal; en kattalaikalinpatiyae manushan seythaal avaikalaal pilaippaan; avarkalo avaikalil nadavaamal, en niyaayangalai veraுththu, en oyvunaatkalin Parisuththaththai mikavum kulaiththuppottarkal, aathalaal avarkalai nirmoolamaakkumpati vanaantharaththilae en ukkiraththai avarkalmael oottaுvaen enten. But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.

14 Aakilum naan ivarkalaip purappadappannnninathaik kannda purajaathikalutaiya kannkalukku munpaaka en naamam Parisuththakkulaichchalaakaathapatikku, en naamaththinimiththam kirupaiseythaen. But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

15 Aanaalum avarkalutaiya iruthayam avarkalutaiya narakalaana vikkirakangalaip pinpatti, avarkal en niyaayangalai veraுththu, en kattalaikalil nadavaamarpoy, en oyvunaatkalaip Parisuththak kulaichchalaakkinapatiyaal, Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;

16 Naan vaakkuththaththampannnninathum, paalum thaenum odukirathum, ellaathaesangalin singaaramaayirukkirathumaana thaesaththilae avarkalaik konnduvanthuviduvathillai entu vanaantharaththil aannaiyittaேn. Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.

17 Aakilum avarkalai alikkaathapatikku, en kann avarkalaith thappavittathu; naan avarkalai vanaantharaththil nirmoolamaakkavillai. Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.

18 Vanaantharaththil avarkalutaiya pillaikalai Nnokki: neengal ungal pithaakkalin muraimaikalil nadavaamalum avarkalutaiya niyaayangalaik kaikkollaamalum, avarkalutaiya narakalaana vikkirakangalaal ungalaith theettuppaduththaamalum irungal. But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols:

19 Ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar naanae; neengal en kattalaikalil nadanthu, en niyaayangalaik kaikkonndu, avaikalinpatiyae seythu, I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;

20 En oyvunaatkalaip Parisuththamaakkungal; naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar entu neengal ariyumpatikku avaikal enakkum ungalukkum ataiyaalamaayirukkum enten. And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

21 Aanaalum pillaikalum enakku viraathamaay elumpinaarkal; en kattalaikalinpatiyae manushan seythaal avaikalaal pilaippaanae; avarkalo avaikalil nadavaamalum, en niyaayangalaik kaikkonndu avaikalinpati seyyaamalum, en oyvunaatkalaip Parisuththakkulaichchalaakkippottarkal; aakaiyaal vanaantharaththilae en kopaththai avarkalil theerththukkollumpati en ukkiraththai avarkalmael oottaுvaen enten. Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.

22 Aakilum naan en kaiyaith thiruppi, naan ivarkalai purappadappannnninathaik kannda purajaathikalutaiya kannkalukku munpaaka en naamam Parisuththakkulaichchalaakaathapatikku, en naamaththinimiththam kirupaiseythaen. Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth.

23 Aanaalum avarkal en niyaayangalinpati seyyaamal, en kattalaikalai veraுththu, en oyvunaatkalai Parisuththak kulaichchalaakkinapatiyaalum, avarkalutaiya kannkal avarkal pithaakkalin narakalaana vikkirakangalinmael Nnokkamaayirunthapatiyaalum, I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries;

24 Naan avarkalaip purajaathikalukkullae sitharatiththu, avarkalai thaesangaγிlae thoottippodukiѠΤrku vanaantharaththilae aannaiyittaேn. Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.

25 Aakaiyaal nanmaikkaethuvallaatha kattalaikalaiyum jeevanukkaethuvallaatha niyaayangalaiyum naan avarkalukkuk koduththaen. Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;

26 Naan Karththar entu avarkal ariyaththakkathaaka, naan avarkalaip paalaakkumpati, avarkal karppanthiranthu pirakkirathaiyellaam theekkadakkappannnni, ivvithamaay avarkalutaiya palikalinaalae avarkalaith theettuppadappannnninaen. And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.

27 Aakaiyaal manupuththiranae, nee Israel vamsaththaarotae paesi, avarkalai Nnokki: karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, ungal pithaakkal innum enakku virothamaayth thurokampannnni, ennaith thooshiththaarkal. Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me.

28 Avarkalukkuk koduppaen entu aannaiyitta thaesaththilae naan avarkalaip piravaesikkappannnninapinpu, avarkal uyarntha oru maettaைyum thalaiththa oru virutchaththaiyum engaெngae kanndaarkalo, angangae thangal palikalaich seluththi, avvidangalilellaam enakku erichchal unndaakkukira thangal kaannikkaikalaip pataiththu, sukantha vaasanaiyaana thangal thoopangalaikkaatti, thangal paanapalikalai vaarththaarkal. For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.

29 Appoluthu naan avarkalai Nnokki: neengal pokira antha maedu ennaventu kaettaேn; athinaal innaalvaraikkum atharkup paamaa entu paer. Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name whereof is called Bamah unto this day.

30 Aakaiyaal nee Israel vamsaththaarai Nnokki: karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, ungal pithaakkalutaiya maarkkaththinpatiyae neengalum theettuppattavarkal allavo? Avarkalutaiya aruvaruppukalai neengalum pinpattich sorampokireerkal allavo? Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations?

31 Neengal ungal pillaikalaith theekkadakkappannnni, ungal palikalaichcheluththukirapothu, innaalvaraikkum avarkalutaiya ellaa narakalaana vikkirakangalaalum neengal theettuppaduveerkalae; neengal ennidaththil visaarikka idangaொduppaeno Israel vamsaththaarae, neengal ennidaththil visaarikkumpati idangaொduppathillai entu en jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar. For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.

32 Maraththukkum kallukkum aaraathanaiseythu, anjnjaanikalaippolavum thaesaththu janangalin jaathikalaippolavum iruppom entu sollukireerkalae; ungal manathil elumpukira intha ninaivinpati aavathae illai. And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.

33 Palaththa kaiyinaalum, ongiya puyaththinaalum oottappatta ukkiraththinaalum, ungalai aaluvaen enpathai en jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar. As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:

34 Neengal janangalukkul iraathapatikku naan ungalaip purappadappannnni, neengal sithariyirukkira thaesangalil iraathapatikku naan ungalaip palaththakaiyinaalum, ongiya puyaththinaalum, oottappatta ukkiraththilum kootivarachcheythu, And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.

35 Ungalai janasathalangalin vanaantharaththilae konndupoy, angae ungalotae mukamukamaay valakkaaduvaen. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.

36 Naan ekipthuthaesaththin vanaantharaththil ungal pithaakkalodu valakkaatinathupola ungalodum valakkaaduvaen entu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.

37 Naan ungalaik kolingeel sellumpati seythu, ungalai udanpatikkaiyin kattukkutpaduththi, And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

38 Kalakakkaararaiyum thurokikalaiyum ungalaivittup piriththuppoduvaen; avarkalaith thaangal thangum thaesaththilirunthu purappadappannnuvaen; aanaalum avarkal Israel thaesaththil piravaesippathillai; appoluthu naan Karththar entu arinthukolveerkal. And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

39 Ippothum Israel vamsaththaarae, neengal en sollaik kaetkamanathillaathirunthaal, neengal poy avanavan than than narakalaana vikkirakangalai innum seviyungal; aanaalum en Parisuththa naamaththai ungal kaannikkaikalaalum ungal narakalaana vikkirakangalaalum inip Parisuththakkulaichchalaakkaathirungal entu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar. As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.

40 Isravaelin uyaramaana malaiyaakiya en Parisuththa malaiyilae isravaelutaiya ellaa vamsaththaarumaakiya thaesaththilulla anaivarum ennaich sevippaarkalentu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar; angae avarkalmael piriyam vaippaen; angae neengal Parisuththampannnukira ellaavattilum ungal kaannikkaikalaiyum ungal mutharpalankalaiyum seluththumpati kaetpaen. For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.

41 Naan ungalai janangalilirunthu purappadappannnni, neengal sitharaுnntirukkira thaesangalilirunthu ungalaich serththukkollumpothu, sukantha vaasanaiyinimiththam naan ungalpaeril piriyamaayiruppaen; appoluthu purajaathikalin kannkalukku munpaaka ungalaal Parisuththampannnappaduvaen. I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.

42 Ungal pithaakkalukkuk koduppaen entu aannaiyitta thaesamaakiya Israel thaesaththilae naan ungalaith thirumpivarappannnumpothu, naan Karththar entu neengal arinthukonndu, And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.

43 Angae ungalutaiya ellaa valikalaiyum ungalaith theettuppaduththina ungalutaiya ellaak kiriyaikalaiyum ninaiththu, neengal seythiruntha ungalutaiya ellaap pollaappukalinimiththamum ungalai neengalae aruvaruppeerkal. And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that ye have committed.

44 Israel vamsaththaarae, ungal pollaatha valikalukkuth thakkathaakavum, ungal ketta kiriyaikalukkuththakkathaakavum naan ungalukkuch seyyaamal, en naamaththinimiththam ungalukkuk kirupaiseyyumpothu, naan Karththar entu arinthukolveerkal enkirathaik karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar entu sol entar. And ye shall know that I am the LORD when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

45 Karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

46 Manupuththiranae, nee un mukaththaith thenthisaikku naerae thiruppi, therkukku virothamaaka un vasanaththaippolinthu, thenpuramaana vayalveliyin kaattukku virothamaakath theerkkatharisanam uraiththu, Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;

47 Thenthisaik kaattaை Nnokki: karththarutaiya vaarththaiyaik kael, karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukirathu ennavental, itho, naan unnil akkiniyaik koluththuvaen; athu unnil pachchaைyaana sakala marangalaiyum pattuppona sakala marangalaiyum patchikkum; juvaalikkira juvaalai avikkappadamaattathu; therku thuvakki vadakkumattumulla thaesamengum athinaal venthupokum. 48 Karththaraakiya naan athaik koluththinaen enpathai ellaa maamsamum kaanum; athu avikkappaduvathillai entu sol entar. And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.

49 Appoluthu naan: aa, karththaraakiya aanndavarae, ivan uvamaikalaiyallavo sollukiraan entu avarkal ennaik kuriththuch sollukiraarkal enten. Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
