Psalm 46 in Tamil

1 தேவன் நமக்கு அடைக்கலமும் பெலனும், ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் அநுகூலமுமான துணையுமானவர். God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 ஆகையால் பூமி நிலைமாறினாலும், மலைகள் நடுச்சமுத்திரத்தில் சாய்ந்துபோனாலும், Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 அதின் ஜலங்கள் கொந்தளித்துப் பொங்கி, அதின் பெருக்கினால் பர்வதங்கள் அதிர்ந்தாலும், நாம் பயப்படோம். (சேலா.) Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 ஒரு நதியுண்டு, அதின் நீர்க்கால்கள் தேவனுடைய நகரத்தையும், உன்னதமானவர் வாசம்பண்ணும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தையும் சந்தோஷிப்பிக்கும், There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 தேவன் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கிறார், அது அசையாது; அதிகாலையிலே தேவன் அதற்குச் சகாயம்பண்ணுவார். God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 ஜாதிகள் கொந்தளித்தது, ராஜ்யங்கள் தத்தளித்தது; அவர் தமது சத்தத்தை முழங்கப்பண்ணினார், பூமி உருகிப்போயிற்று. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் நம்மோடிருக்கிறார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் நமக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமானவர். (சேலா.) The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 பூமியிலே பாழ்க்கடிப்புகளை நடப்பிக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய செய்கைகளை வந்து பாருங்கள். Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9 அவர் பூமியின் கடைமுனைமட்டும் யுத்தங்களை ஓயப்பண்ணுகிறார்; வில்லை ஒடித்து ஈட்டியை முறிக்கிறார்; இரதங்களை நெருப்பினால் சுட்டெரிக்கிறார். He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10 நீங்கள் அமர்ந்திருந்து, நானே தேவனென்று அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்; ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே உயர்ந்திருப்பேன், பூமியிலே உயர்ந்திருப்பேன். Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் நம்மோடிருக்கிறார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் நமக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமானவர். (சேலா.) The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

1 Dhevan namakku ataikkalamum pelanum, aapaththukkaalaththil anukoolamumaana thunnaiyumaanavar. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Aakaiyaal poomi nilaimaarinaalum, malaikal naduchchamuththiraththil saaynthuponaalum, Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 Athin jalangal konthaliththup pongi, athin perukkinaal parvathangal athirnthaalum, naam payappatoom. (selaa.) Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 Oru nathiyunndu, athin neerkkaalkal thaevanutaiya nakaraththaiyum, unnathamaanavar vaasampannnum Parisuththa sthalaththaiyum santhoshippikkum, There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 Dhevan athin naduvil irukkiraar, athu asaiyaathu; athikaalaiyilae Dhevan atharkuch sakaayampannnuvaar. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 Jaathikal konthaliththathu, raajyangal thaththaliththathu; avar thamathu saththaththai mulangappannnninaar, poomi urukippoyittaு. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 Senaikalin Karththar nammotirukkiraar, yaakkopin Dhevan namakku uyarntha ataikkalamaanavar. (selaa.) The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 Poomiyilae paalkkatippukalai nadappikkira karththarutaiya seykaikalai vanthu paarungal. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9 Avar poomiyin kataimunaimattum yuththangalai oyappannnukiraar; villai otiththu eettiyai murikkiraar; irathangalai neruppinaal sutterikkiraar. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10 Neengal amarnthirunthu, naanae thaevanentu arinthukollungal; jaathikalukkullae uyarnthiruppaen, poomiyilae uyarnthiruppaen. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 Senaikalin Karththar nammotirukkiraar, yaakkopin Dhevan namakku uyarntha ataikkalamaanavar. (selaa.) The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
