Psalm 111 in Tamil

1 அல்லேலுூயா, செம்மையானவர்களுடைய சங்கத்திலும் சபையிலும் கர்த்தரை முழு இருதயத்தோடும் துதிப்பேன். Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 கர்த்தரின் செய்கைகள் பெரியவைகளும், அவைகளில் பிரியப்படுகிற எல்லாராலும் ஆராயப்படுகிறவைகளுமாயிருக்கிறது. The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 அவருடைய செயல் மகிமையும் மகத்துவமுமுள்ளது, அவருடைய நீதி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்கும். His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 அவர் தம்முடைய அதிசயமான கிரியைகளை நினைவுகூரும்படி செய்தார், கர்த்தர் இரக்கமும் மனஉருக்கமும் உள்ளவர். He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

5 தமக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்கு ஆகாரம் கொடுத்தார்; தமது உடன்படிக்கையை என்றென்றைக்கும் நினைப்பார். He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 ஜாதிகளின் சுதந்தரத்தைத் தமது ஜனங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்ததினால் தமது கிரியைகளின் பெலத்தை அவர்களுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்தினார். He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

7 அவருடைய கரத்தின் கிரியைகள் சத்தியமும் நியாயமுமானவைகள்; அவருடைய கட்டளைகளெல்லாம் உண்மையானவைகள். The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

8 அவைகள் என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ள சதாகாலங்களுக்கும் உறுதியானவைகள், அவைகள் உண்மையும் செம்மையுமாய்ச் செய்யப்பட்டவைகள். They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

9 அவர் தமது ஜனத்திற்கு மீட்பை அனுப்பி, தமது உடன்படிக்கையை நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாகக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; அவருடைய நாமம் பரிசுத்தமும் பயங்கரமுமானது. He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

10 கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம்; அவருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி செய்கிற யாவருக்கும் நற்புத்தியுண்டு; அவர் புகழ்ச்சி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும். The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

1 Allaeluூyaa, semmaiyaanavarkalutaiya sangaththilum Sabaiyilum karththarai mulu iruthayaththodum thuthippaen. Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 Karththarin seykaikal periyavaikalum, avaikalil piriyappadukira ellaaraalum aaraayappadukiravaikalumaayirukkirathu. The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 Avarutaiya seyal makimaiyum makaththuvamumullathu, avarutaiya neethi ententaikkum nirkum. His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 Avar thammutaiya athisayamaana kiriyaikalai ninaivukoorumpati seythaar, Karththar irakkamum manaurukkamum ullavar. He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

5 Thamakkup payanthavarkalukku aakaaram koduththaar; thamathu udanpatikkaiyai ententaikkum ninaippaar. He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 Jaathikalin suthantharaththaith thamathu janangalukkuk koduththathinaal thamathu kiriyaikalin pelaththai avarkalukkuth theriyappaduththinaar. He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

7 Avarutaiya karaththin kiriyaikal saththiyamum niyaayamumaanavaikal; avarutaiya kattalaikalellaam unnmaiyaanavaikal. The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

8 Avaikal ententaikkumulla sathaakaalangalukkum uraுthiyaanavaikal, avaikal unnmaiyum semmaiyumaaych seyyappattavaikal. They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

9 Avar thamathu janaththirku meetpai anuppi, thamathu udanpatikkaiyai niththiya udanpatikkaiyaakak kattalaiyittar; avarutaiya naamam Parisuththamum payangaramumaanathu. He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

10 Karththarukkup payappaduthalae njaanaththin aarampam; avarutaiya karpanaikalinpati seykira yaavarukkum narpuththiyunndu; avar pukalchchi entaikkum nirkum. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
