And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

7 போகையில், பரலோகராஜ்யம் சமீபித்திருக்கிறது என்று பிரசங்கியுங்கள். And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8 வியாதியுள்ளவர்களைச் சொஸ்தமாக்குங்கள், குஷ்டரோகிகளைச் சுத்தம்பண்ணுங்கள், மரித்தோரை எழுப்புங்கள், பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்துங்கள்; இலவசமாய்ப் பெற்றீர்கள் இலவசமாய்க் கொடுங்கள். Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

9 உங்கள் கச்சைகளில் பொன்னையாவது, வெள்ளியையாவது, செம்பையாவது, Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

10 வழிக்காகப் பையையாவது, இரண்டு அங்கிகளையாவது, பாதரட்சைகளையாவது, தடியையாவது தேடி வைக்கவேண்டாம்; வேலையாள் தன் ஆகாரத்துக்குப் பாத்திரனாயிருக்கிறான். Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

11 எந்தப் பட்டணத்திலாவது கிராமத்திலாவது நீங்கள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, அதிலே பாத்திரமானவன் யாரென்று விசாரித்து, நீங்கள் புறப்படுமளவும் அவனிடத்தில் தங்கியிருங்கள். And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

12 ஒரு வீட்டுக்குள் நீங்கள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது அதை வாழ்த்துங்கள். And when ye come into an house, salute it.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15 நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளிலே அந்தப் பட்டணத்திற்கு நேரிடுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும் சோதோம் கொமோரா நாட்டிற்கு நேரிடுவது இலகுவாயிருக்கும் என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

18 அவர்களுக்கும் புறஜாதியாருக்கும் சாட்சியாக என்னிமித்தம் அதிபதிகளுக்கு முன்பாகவும், ராஜாக்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் கொண்டுப்போகப்படுவீர்கள். And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

20 பேசுகிறவர்கள் நீங்கள் அல்ல, உங்கள் பிதாவின் ஆவியானவரே உங்களிலிருந்து பேசுகிறவர். For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

22 என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் நீங்கள் எல்லாராலும் பகைக்கப்படுவீர்கள்; முடிவுபரியந்தம் நிலைத்திருப்பவனே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான். And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

25 சீஷன் தன் போதகனைப்போலவும், வேலைக்காரன் தன் எஜமானைப்போலவும் இருப்பது போதும். வீட்டெஜமானையே பெயல்செபூல் என்று சொல்வார்களானால், அவன் வீட்டாரை அப்படிச் சொல்வது அதிக நிச்சயமல்லவா? It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

26 அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; வெளியாக்கப்படாத மறைபொருளும் இல்லை; அறியப்படாத இரகசியமும் இல்லை. Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27 நான் உங்களுக்கு இருளிலே சொல்லுகிறதை நீங்கள் வெளிச்சத்திலே சொல்லுங்கள்; காதிலே கேட்கிறதை நீங்கள் வீடுகளிலே பிரசித்தம்பண்ணுங்கள். What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28 ஆத்துமாவைக் கொல்ல வல்லவர்களாயிராமல், சரீரத்தை மாத்திரம் கொல்லுகிறவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; ஆத்துமாவையும் சரீரத்தையும் நரகத்திலே அழிக்க வல்லவருக்கே பயப்படுங்கள். And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

29 ஒரு காசுக்கு இரண்டு அடைக்கலான் குருவிகளை விற்கிறார்கள் அல்லவா? ஆயினும் உங்கள் பிதாவின் சித்தமில்லாமல், அவைகளில் ஒன்றாகிலும் தரையிலே விழாது. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 உங்கள் தலையிலுள்ள மயிரெல்லாம் எண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 ஆதலால், பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; அநேகம் அடைக்கலான் குருவிகளைப் பார்க்கிலும் நீங்கள் விசேஷித்தவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்கள். Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

32 மனுஷர் முன்பாக என்னை அறிக்கை பண்ணுகிறவன் எவனோ, அவனை நானும் பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவின் முன்பாக அறிக்கைப் பண்ணுவேன். Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 மனுஷர் முன்பாக என்னை மறுதலிக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவனை நானும் பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவின் முன்பாக மறுதலிப்பேன். But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

34 பூமியின்மேல் சமாதானத்தை அனுப்பவந்தேன் என்று எண்ணாதிருங்கள்; சமாதானத்தையல்ல பட்டயத்தையே அனுப்பவந்தேன். Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 எப்படியெனில், மகனுக்கும் தகப்பனுக்கும், மகளுக்கும் தாய்க்கும், மருமகளுக்கும் மாமிக்கும் பிரிவினை உண்டாக்க வந்தேன். For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 ஒரு மனுஷனுக்குச் சத்துருக்கள் அவன் வீட்டாரே. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37 தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது என்னிலும் அதிகமாய் நேசிக்கிறவன் எனக்குப் பாத்திரன் அல்ல; மகனையாவது மகளையாவது என்னிலும் அதிகமாய் நேசிக்கிறவன் எனக்குப் பாத்திரன் அல்ல. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38 தன் சிலுவையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு என்னைப் பின்பற்றாதவன் எனக்குப் பாத்திரன் அல்ல. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

39 தன் ஜீவனைக் காக்கிறவன் அதை இழந்து போவான். தன் ஜீவனை இழந்துபோகிறவன் அதைக் காப்பான். He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

40 உங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை அனுப்பினவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான். He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

41 தீர்க்கதரிசி என்னும் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் தீர்க்கதரிசியை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் தீர்க்கதரிசிக்கேற்ற பலனை அடைவான்; நீதிமான் என்னும் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் நீதிமானை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் நீதிமானுக்கேற்ற பலனை அடைவான். He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

42 சீஷன் என்னும் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் இந்தச் சிறியரில் ஒருவனுக்கு ஒருகலசம் தண்ணீர் மாத்திரம் குடிக்கக் கொடுக்கிறவனும் தன் பலனை அடையாமற்போகான் என்று மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றார். And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

1 Appoluthu, avar thammutaiya panniranndu seesharkalaiyum thammidaththil varavalaiththu, asuththa aavikalaith thuraththavum, sakala viyaathikalaiyum, sakala Nnoykalaiyum neekkavum avarkalukku athikaaram koduththaar. 2 Anthap panniranndu apposthalarutaiya naamangalaavana: munthinavan paethuru ennappatta seemon, avan sakotharan anthiraeyaa, sepathaeyuvin kumaaran yaakkopu, avan sakotharan yovaan, Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

6 Kaannaamar pona aadukalaakiya Israel veettaridaththirkup pongal. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 Pokaiyil, paralokaraajyam sameepiththirukkirathu entu pirasangiyungal. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8 Viyaathiyullavarkalaich sosthamaakkungal, kushdarokikalaich suththampannnungal, mariththorai eluppungal, pisaasukalaith thuraththungal; ilavasamaayp pettaீrkal ilavasamaayk kodungal. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

9 Ungal kachchaைkalil ponnaiyaavathu, velliyaiyaavathu, sempaiyaavathu, Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

10 Valikkaakap paiyaiyaavathu, iranndu angikalaiyaavathu, paatharatchaைkalaiyaavathu, thatiyaiyaavathu thaeti vaikkavaenndaam; vaelaiyaal than aakaaraththukkup paaththiranaayirukkiraan. Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

11 Enthap pattanaththilaavathu kiraamaththilaavathu neengal piravaesikkumpothu, athilae paaththiramaanavan yaarentu visaariththu, neengal purappadumalavum avanidaththil thangiyirungal. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

12 Oru veettukkul neengal piravaesikkumpothu athai vaalththungal. And when ye come into an house, salute it.

13 Antha veedu paaththiramaayirunthaal neengal koorina samaathaanam avarkalmael varakkadavathu; apaaththiramaayirunthaal neengal koorina samaathaanam ungalidaththirku thirumpakkadavathu; And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14 Evanaakilum ungalai aettaுkkollaamalum, ungal vaarththaikalaik kaelaamalumponaal, antha veettaைyaavathu pattanaththaiyaavathu vittup purappadumpothu, ungal kaalkalil patintha thoosiyai utharippodungal. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15 Niyaayaththeerppu naalilae anthap pattanaththirku naeriduvathaippaarkkilum sothom komoraa naattirku naeriduvathu ilakuvaayirukkum entu, meyyaakavae ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

16 Aadukalai onaaykalukkullae anuppukirathu pola, itho, naan ungalai anuppukiraேn; aakaiyaal, sarppangalaippola vinaavullavarkalaayum puraakkalaippola kapadattavarkalumaay irungal. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

17 Manusharaik kuriththu echcharikkaiyaayirungal; avarkal ungalai aalosanaich sangangalukku oppukkoduththu, thangal jepa aalayangalil ungalai vaarinaal atippaarkal. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

19 Avarkal ungalai oppukkodukkumpothu: eppatippaesuvom entum, ennaththaip paesuvom entum kavalaippadaathirungal; neengal paesavaenntiyathu annaeraththil ungalukku arulappadum. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

20 Paesukiravarkal neengal alla, ungal pithaavin aaviyaanavarae ungalilirunthu paesukiravar. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

21 Sakotharan than sakotharanaiyum, thakappan than pillaiyaiyum, maranaththukku oppukkoduppaarkal; pettaாrukku virothamaayp pillaikal elumpi avarkalaik kolaiseyvaarkal. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

22 En naamaththinimiththam neengal ellaaraalum pakaikkappaduveerkal; mutivupariyantham nilaiththiruppavanae iratchikkappaduvaan. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

23 Oru pattanaththil ungalaith thunpappaduththinaal maraு pattanaththirku otippongal; manushakumaaran varuvatharkullaaka neengal Israel pattanangalaiyellaam suttimutiyaathentu meyyaakavae ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

24 Seeshan than pothakanilum, vaelaikkaaran than ejamaanilum maerpattavanalla. The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

25 Seeshan than pothakanaippolavum, vaelaikkaaran than ejamaanaippolavum iruppathu pothum. Veettejamaanaiyae peyalsepool entu solvaarkalaanaal, avan veettarai appatich solvathu athika nichchayamallavaa? It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

26 Avarkalukkup payappadaathirungal; veliyaakkappadaatha maraiporulum illai; ariyappadaatha irakasiyamum illai. Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27 Naan ungalukku irulilae sollukirathai neengal velichchaththilae sollungal; kaathilae kaetkirathai neengal veedukalilae pirasiththampannnungal. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28 Aaththumaavaik kolla vallavarkalaayiraamal, sareeraththai maaththiram kollukiravarkalukku neengal payappadavaenndaam; aaththumaavaiyum sareeraththaiyum narakaththilae alikka vallavarukkae payappadungal. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

29 Oru kaasukku iranndu ataikkalaan kuruvikalai virkiraarkal allavaa? Aayinum ungal pithaavin siththamillaamal, avaikalil ontakilum tharaiyilae vilaathu. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

30 Ungal thalaiyilulla mayirellaam ennnappattirukkirathu. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

31 Aathalaal, payappadaathirungal; anaekam ataikkalaan kuruvikalaip paarkkilum neengal viseshiththavarkalaayirukkireerkal. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

32 Manushar munpaaka ennai arikkai pannnukiravan evano, avanai naanum paralokaththilirukkira en pithaavin munpaaka arikkaip pannnuvaen. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 Manushar munpaaka ennai maraுthalikkiravan evano, avanai naanum paralokaththilirukkira en pithaavin munpaaka maraுthalippaen. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

34 Poomiyinmael samaathaanaththai anuppavanthaen entu ennnnaathirungal; samaathaanaththaiyalla pattayaththaiyae anuppavanthaen. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35 Eppatiyenil, makanukkum thakappanukkum, makalukkum thaaykkum, marumakalukkum maamikkum pirivinai unndaakka vanthaen. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36 Oru manushanukkuch saththurukkal avan veettarae. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37 Thakappanaiyaavathu thaayaiyaavathu ennilum athikamaay naesikkiravan enakkup paaththiran alla; makanaiyaavathu makalaiyaavathu ennilum athikamaay naesikkiravan enakkup paaththiran alla. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38 Than siluvaiyai eduththukkonndu ennaip pinpattaாthavan enakkup paaththiran alla. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

39 Than jeevanaik kaakkiravan athai ilanthu povaan. Than jeevanai ilanthupokiravan athaik kaappaan. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

40 Ungalai aettaுkkollukiravan ennai aettaுkkollukiraan; ennai aettaுkkollukiravan ennai anuppinavarai aettaுkkollukiraan. He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

41 Theerkkatharisi ennum naamaththinimiththam theerkkatharisiyai aettaுkkollukiravan theerkkatharisikkaetta palanai ataivaan; neethimaan ennum naamaththinimiththam neethimaanai aettaுkkollukiravan neethimaanukkaetta palanai ataivaan. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

42 Seeshan ennum naamaththinimiththam inthach siriyaril oruvanukku orukalasam thannnneer maaththiram kutikkak kodukkiravanum than palanai ataiyaamarpokaan entu meyyaakavae ungalukkuch sollukiraேn entar. And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
