1 அப்பொழுது லேவியரின் வம்சப் பிதாக்களின் தலைவர்; கானான் தேசத்திலிருக்கிற சீலோவிலே ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரிடத்திலும், நூனின் குமாரனாகிய யோசுவாவிடனித்திலும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய கோத்திரப் பிதாக்களிலுள்ள தலைவரிடத்திலும் சேர்ந்து வந்து: Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;

2 நாங்கள் குடியிருக்கும் பட்டணங்களையும், எங்கள் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்காக வெளிநிலங்களையும் எங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படி, கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்டாரே என்றார்கள். And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.

3 கர்த்தருடைய வாக்கின்படியே, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் சுதந்தரத்திலே லேவியருக்குப் பட்டணங்களையும் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள். And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.

4 கோகாத்தியரின் வம்சங்களுக்குச் சீட்டு விழுந்தது; அந்தச் சீட்டின்படி லேவியரில் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் குமாரருக்கு யூதா கோத்திரத்திலும், சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திலும், பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலும் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பதின்மூன்று. And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

6 கெர்சோன் புத்திரருக்கு, இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தின் வம்சங்களுக்குள்ளும், ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்திலும், நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திலும், பாசானிலிருக்கிற மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்திலும், சீட்டினால் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பதின்மூன்று. And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

7 மெராரி புத்திரருக்கு அவர்கள் வம்சங்களின்படியே, ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திலும் கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள் பன்னிரண்டு. The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

8 இந்தப் பட்டணங்களையும் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர், கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, சீட்டுப்போட்டு லேவியருக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள். And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

9 லேவியின் குமாரரில் முதலாம் சீட்டைப்பெற்ற கோகாத்தியரின் வம்சங்களிலே இருக்கிற ஆரோனின் குமாரருக்கு, And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name.

10 யூதா புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்திலும், சிமியோன் புத்திரரின் கோத்திரத்திலும், அவர்கள் கொடுத்தவைகளும் பேர்பேராய்ச் சொல்லப்பட்டவைகளுமான பட்டணங்களின் நாήங்களாவன: Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.

11 யூதޠεின் மலைத்தேசத்தில் ஆனாக்கின் தகப்பனாகிய அர்பாவின் பட்டணமான எபிரோனையும் அதைச் சூழ்ந்த வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள். And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.

12 பட்டணத்தைச் சேர்ந்த வயல்களையும் அதின் பட்டிகளையும் எப்புன்னேயின் குமாரனாகிய காலேபுக்குக் காணியாட்சியாகக் கொடுத்தார்கள். But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

13 இப்படியே கொலை செய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாக ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் குமாரருக்கு எபிரோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், லிப்னாவையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,

14 யாத்தீரையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், எஸ்தெமொவாவையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs,

15 ஓலோனையும் அதின் வெளி நிலங்களையும், தெபீரையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,

16 ஆயீனையும் அதின் வெளி நிலங்களையும், யுத்தாவையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெத்ஷிமேசையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அந்த இரண்டு கோத்திரங்களிலிருக்கிற பட்டணங்கள் ஒன்பது. And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, and Bethshemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.

17 பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலே அவர்களுக்குக் கிபியோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கேபாவையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,

18 ஆனதோத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், அல்மோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப்பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities.

19 ஆசாரியரான ஆரோனுடைய குமாரரின் பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களுட்பட பதின்மூன்று. All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.

20 லேவியரான கோகாத்தின் புத்திரரில் மீதியான அவர்களுடைய மற்ற வம்சங்களுக்கு எப்பிராயீமின் கோத்திரத்திலே அவர்களுக்குப் பங்குவீதமாக அவர்கள் கொடுத்த பட்டணங்களாவன: And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

21 கொலைசெய்த அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமான எப்பிராயீமின் மலைத்தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற சீகேமையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், கேசேரையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs,

22 கிப்சாயீமையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெத்தொரோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbs; four cities.

23 தாண் கோத்திரத்திலே எல்தெக்கேயையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், கிபெத்தோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs,

24 ஆயலோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், காத்ரிம்மோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப்பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. Aijalon with her suburbs, Gathrimmon with her suburbs; four cities.

25 மனாசேயின் பாதிக் கோத்திரத்திலே தானாகையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், காத்ரிம்மோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் இரண்டு. And out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Tanach with her suburbs, and Gathrimmon with her suburbs; two cities.

26 கோகாத் புத்திரரின் மீதியான வம்சங்களுக்கு உண்டான பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களுட்படப் பத்து. All the cities were ten with their suburbs for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.

27 லேவியரின் வம்சங்களிலே கெர்சோன் புத்திரருக்கு மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்தில் கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப் பட்டணமான பாசானிலுள்ள கோலானையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், பெயெஸ்திராவையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் இரண்டு. And unto the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the other half tribe of Manasseh they gave Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Beeshterah with her suburbs; two cities.

28 இசக்காரின் கோத்திரத்திலே கீசோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், தாபராத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon with her suburbs, Dabareh with her suburbs,

29 யர்மூத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், என்கன்னீமையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள். இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. Jarmuth with her suburbs, Engannim with her suburbs; four cities.

30 ஆசேரின் கோத்திரத்திலே மிஷயாலையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், அப்தோனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal with her suburbs, Abdon with her suburbs,

31 எல்காத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், ரேகோபையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள். இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; four cities.

32 நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திலே கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாகக் கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள கேதேசையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், அம்மோத்தோரையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், கர்தானையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் மூன்று. And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Hammothdor with her suburbs, and Kartan with her suburbs; three cities.

33 கெர்சோனியருக்கு அவர்கள் வம்சங்களின்படி உண்டான பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களுட்பட பதின்மூன்று. All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities with their suburbs.

34 மற்ற லேவியராகிய மெராரி புத்திரரின் வம்சங்களுக்குச் செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்திலே யொக்னியாமையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், கர்தாவையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், And unto the families of the children of Merari, the rest of the Levites, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam with her suburbs, and Kartah with her suburbs,

35 திம்னாவையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், நகலாலையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; four cities.

36 ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திலே பேசேரையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், கெதெமோத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், மெபாகாத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer with her suburbs, and Jahazah with her suburbs,

37 கெதெமோத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், மெபாகாத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள். இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; four cities.

38 காத் கோத்திரத்திலே கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப் பட்டணமாக, கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள ராமோத்தையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், மக்னாயீமையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Mahanaim with her suburbs,

39 எஸ்போனையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், யாசேரையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் நாலு. Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all.

40 இவைகளெல்லாம் லேவியரின் மற்ற வம்சங்களாகிய மெராரி புத்திரருக்கு, அவர்கள் வம்சங்களின்படி கிடைத்த பட்டணங்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பங்குவீதம் பன்னிரண்டு பட்டணங்கள். So all the cities for the children of Merari by their families, which were remaining of the families of the Levites, were by their lot twelve cities.

41 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய காணியாட்சியின் நடுவிலே இருக்கிற லேவியரின் பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் அவைகளின் வெளிநிலங்களுட்பட நாற்பத்தெட்டு. All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.

42 இந்தப் பட்டணங்களில் ஒவ்வொன்றிற்கும் அததைச் சூழ்ந்த வெளிநிலங்கள் இருந்தது; எல்லாப்பட்டணங்களுக்கும் அப்படியே இருந்தது. These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus were all these cities.

43 இந்தப் பிரகாரமாகக் கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று அவர்களுடைய பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்ட தேசத்தையெல்லாம் கொடுத்தார்; அவர்கள் அவைகளைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டு, அவைகளிலே குடியிருந்தார்கள். And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

44 கர்த்தர் அவர்களுடைய பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்டபடியெல்லாம் அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலும் யுத்தமில்லாமல் இளைப்பாறப்பண்ணினார்; அவர்களுடைய எல்லாச் சத்துருக்களிலும் ஒருவரும் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கவில்லை; அவர்கள் சத்துருக்களையெல்லாம் கர்த்தர் அவர்கள் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார். And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

45 கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாருக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்த நல்வார்த்தைகளிலெல்லாம் ஒரு வார்த்தையும் தவறிப்போகவில்லை; எல்லாம் நிறைவேறிற்று. There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

1 Appoluthu laeviyarin vamsap pithaakkalin thalaivar; kaanaan thaesaththilirukkira seelovilae aasaariyanaakiya eleyaasaaridaththilum, noonin kumaaranaakiya yosuvaavidaniththilum, Israel puththirarutaiya koththirap pithaakkalilulla thalaivaridaththilum sernthu vanthu: Then came near the heads of the fathers of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;

2 Naangal kutiyirukkum pattanangalaiyum, engal mirukajeevankalukkaaka velinilangalaiyum engalukkuk kodukkumpati, Karththar Mosesyaikkonndu kattalaiyittarae entarkal. And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.

3 Karththarutaiya vaakkinpatiyae, Israel puththirar thangal suthantharaththilae laeviyarukkup pattanangalaiyum avaikalin velinilangalaiyum koduththaarkal. And the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, at the commandment of the LORD, these cities and their suburbs.

4 Kokaaththiyarin vamsangalukkuch seettu vilunthathu; anthach seettinpati laeviyaril aasaariyanaakiya aaronin kumaararukku yoothaa koththiraththilum, simiyon koththiraththilum, penyameen koththiraththilum kitaiththa pattanangal pathinmoontu. And the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

5 Kokaaththin mattappuththirarukku, eppiraayeem koththiraththin vamsangalukkullum, thaann koththiraththilum manaaseyin paathikkoththiraththilum, seettinaal kitaiththa pattanangal paththu. And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.

6 Kerson puththirarukku, isakkaar koththiraththin vamsangalukkullum, aaser koththiraththilum, napthali koththiraththilum, paasaanilirukkira manaaseyin paathikkoththiraththilum, seettinaal kitaiththa pattanangal pathinmoontu. And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

7 Meraari puththirarukku avarkal vamsangalinpatiyae, roopan koththiraththilum kitaiththa pattanangal panniranndu. The children of Merari by their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

8 Inthap pattanangalaiyum avaikalin velinilangalaiyum Israel puththirar, Karththar Mosesyaikkonndu kattalaiyittapatiyae, seettuppottu laeviyarukkuk koduththaarkal. And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

9 Laeviyin kumaararil muthalaam seettaைppetta kokaaththiyarin vamsangalilae irukkira aaronin kumaararukku, And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name.

10 Yoothaa puththirarin koththiraththilum, simiyon puththirarin koththiraththilum, avarkal koduththavaikalum paerpaeraaych sollappattavaikalumaana pattanangalin naaήngalaavana: Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the first lot.

11 Yoothaޠεிn malaiththaesaththil aanaakkin thakappanaakiya arpaavin pattanamaana epironaiyum athaich soolntha velinilangalaiyum avarkalukkuk koduththaarkal. And they gave them the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the suburbs thereof round about it.

12 Pattanaththaich serntha vayalkalaiyum athin pattikalaiyum eppunnaeyin kumaaranaakiya kaalaepukkuk kaanniyaatchiyaakak koduththaarkal. But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.

13 Ippatiyae kolai seythavanukku ataikkalappattanamaaka aasaariyanaakiya aaronin kumaararukku epironaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, lipnaavaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, Thus they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs,

14 Yaaththeeraiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, esthemovaavaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, And Jattir with her suburbs, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs,

15 Olonaiyum athin veli nilangalaiyum, thepeeraiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, And Holon with her suburbs, and Debir with her suburbs,

16 Aayeenaiyum athin veli nilangalaiyum, yuththaavaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, pethshimaesaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum koduththaarkal; antha iranndu koththirangalilirukkira pattanangal onpathu. And Ain with her suburbs, and Juttah with her suburbs, and Bethshemesh with her suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.

17 Penyameen koththiraththilae avarkalukkuk kipiyonaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum kaepaavaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,

18 Aanathoththaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, almonaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum koduththaarkal; inthappattanangal naalu. Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; four cities.

19 Aasaariyaraana aaronutaiya kumaararin pattanangalellaam avaikalin velinilangalutpada pathinmoontu. All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their suburbs.

20 Laeviyaraana kokaaththin puththiraril meethiyaana avarkalutaiya matta vamsangalukku eppiraayeemin koththiraththilae avarkalukkup panguveethamaaka avarkal koduththa pattanangalaavana: And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

21 Kolaiseytha ataikkalappattanamaana eppiraayeemin malaiththaesaththil irukkira seekaemaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, kaeseraiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount Ephraim, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs,

22 Kipsaayeemaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, peththoronaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, avarkalukkuk koduththaarkal; inthap pattanangal naalu. And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbs; four cities.

23 Thaann koththiraththilae elthekkaeyaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, kipeththonaiyum athin velinilangalaiyum, And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh with her suburbs, Gibbethon with her suburbs,
