Job 2 in Tamil

1 பின்னொரு நாளிலே தேவபுத்திரர் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் வந்து நின்றபோது, சாத்தானும் அவர்கள் நடுவிலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் வந்து நின்றான். Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

2 கர்த்தர் சாத்தானைப் பார்த்து: நீ எங்கேயிருந்து வருகிறாய் என்றார்; சாத்தான் கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக பூமியெங்கும் உலாவி அதில் சுற்றித்திரிந்து வருகிறேன் என்றான். And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

3 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் சாத்தானை நோக்கி: நீ என் தாசனாகிய யோபின்மேல் கவனம் வைத்தாயோ? உத்தமனும், சன்மார்க்கனும், தேவனுக்குப் பயந்து பொல்லாப்புக்கு விலகுகிறவனுமான மனுஷனாகிய அவனைப்போல பூமியில் ஒருவனுமில்லை; முகாந்தரமில்லாமல் அவனை நிர்மூலமாக்கும்படி நீ என்னை ஏவினபோதிலும், அவன் இன்னும் தன் உத்தமத்திலே உறுதியாய் நிற்கிறான் என்றார். And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

4 சாத்தான் கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக; தோலுக்குப் பதிலாகத் தோலையும், தன் ஜீவனுக்குப் பதிலாகத் தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் மனுஷன் கொடுத்துவிடுவான். And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

5 ஆனாலும் நீர் உம்முடைய கையை நீட்டி, அவன் எலும்பையும் அவன் மாம்சத்தையும் தொடுவீரானால், அப்பொழுது அவன் உமது முகத்துக்கு எதிரே உம்மைத் தூஷிக்கானோ பாரும் என்றான். But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

6 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் சாத்தானை நோக்கி: இதோ, அவன் உன் கையிலிருக்கிறான்; ஆகிலும் அவன் பிராணனை மாத்திரம் தப்பவிடு என்றார். And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.

7 அப்பொழுது சாத்தான் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, யோபின் உள்ளங்கால் தொடங்கி அவன் உச்சந்தலைமட்டும் கொடிய பருக்களால் அவனை வாதித்தான். So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

8 அவன் ஒரு ஓட்டை எடுத்து தன்னைச் சுறண்டிக்கொண்டு சாம்பலில் உட்கார்ந்தான். And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

9 அப்பொழுது அவன் மனைவி அவனைப் பார்த்து: நீர் இன்னும் உம்முடைய உத்தமத்தில் உறுதியாய் நிற்கிறீரோ? தேவனைத் தூஷித்து ஜீவனைவிடும் என்றாள். Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 அதற்கு அவன்: நீ பயித்தியக்காரி பேசுகிறதுபோலப் பேசுகிறாய், தேவன் கையிலே நன்மையைப் பெற்ற நாம் தீமையையும் பெறவேண்டாமோ என்றான்; இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் யோபு தன் உதடுகளினால் பாவஞ்செய்யவில்லை. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

11 யோபுடைய மூன்று சிநேகிதராகிய தேமானியனான எலிப்பாசும், சூகியனான பில்தாதும், நாகமாத்தியனான சோப்பாரும், யோபுக்கு நேரிட்ட தீமைகள் யாவையும் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது அவனுக்காகப் பரிதபிக்கவும், அவனுக்கு ஆறுதல்சொல்லவும் ஓருவரோடே ஒருவர் யோசனை பண்ணிக்கொண்டு, அவரவர் தங்கள் ஸ்தலங்களிலிருந்து வந்தார்கள். Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

12 அவர்கள் தூரத்தில் வருகையில் தங்கள் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துப் பார்த்தபோது, அவனை உருத்தெரியாமல், சத்தமிட்டு அழுது, அவரவர் தங்கள் சால்வையைக் கிழித்து, வானத்தைப் பார்த்து: தங்கள் தலைகள்மேல் புழுதியைத் தூற்றிக்கொண்டு, And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

13 வந்து, அவன் துக்கம் மகாகொடிய துக்கம் என்று கண்டு, ஒருவரும் அவனோடு ஒரு வார்த்தையையும் பேசாமல், இரவுபகல் ஏழுநாள், அவனோடுகூடத் தரையிலே உட்கார்ந்திருந்தார்கள். So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

1 Pinnoru naalilae thaevapuththirar karththarutaiya sannithiyil vanthu nintapothu, saaththaanum avarkal naduvilae karththarutaiya sannithiyil vanthu nintan. Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

2 Karththar saaththaanaip paarththu: nee engaeyirunthu varukiraay entar; saaththaan karththarukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka poomiyengum ulaavi athil suttiththirinthu varukiraேn entan. And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

3 Appoluthu Karththar saaththaanai Nnokki: nee en thaasanaakiya yopinmael kavanam vaiththaayo? Uththamanum, sanmaarkkanum, thaevanukkup payanthu pollaappukku vilakukiravanumaana manushanaakiya avanaippola poomiyil oruvanumillai; mukaantharamillaamal avanai nirmoolamaakkumpati nee ennai aevinapothilum, avan innum than uththamaththilae uraுthiyaay nirkiraan entar. And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

4 Saaththaan karththarukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka; tholukkup pathilaakath tholaiyum, than jeevanukkup pathilaakath thanakku unndaana ellaavattaைyum manushan koduththuviduvaan. And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.

5 Aanaalum neer ummutaiya kaiyai neetti, avan elumpaiyum avan maamsaththaiyum thoduveeraanaal, appoluthu avan umathu mukaththukku ethirae ummaith thooshikkaano paarum entan. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.

6 Appoluthu Karththar saaththaanai Nnokki: itho, avan un kaiyilirukkiraan; aakilum avan piraananai maaththiram thappavidu entar. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.

7 Appoluthu saaththaan karththarutaiya sannithiyaivittup purappattu, yopin ullangaal thodangi avan uchchanthalaimattum kotiya parukkalaal avanai vaathiththaan. So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

8 Avan oru ottaை eduththu thannaich suranntikkonndu saampalil utkaarnthaan. And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.

9 Appoluthu avan manaivi avanaip paarththu: neer innum ummutaiya uththamaththil uraுthiyaay nirkireero? Thaevanaith thooshiththu jeevanaividum ental. Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

10 Atharku avan: nee payiththiyakkaari paesukirathupolap paesukiraay, Dhevan kaiyilae nanmaiyaip petta naam theemaiyaiyum peravaenndaamo entan; ivaikal ellaavattilum yopu than uthadukalinaal paavanjaெyyavillai. 11 Yoputaiya moontu sinaekitharaakiya thaemaaniyanaana elippaasum, sookiyanaana pilthaathum, naakamaaththiyanaana soppaarum, yopukku naeritta theemaikal yaavaiyum kaelvippattapothu avanukkaakap parithapikkavum, avanukku aaraுthalsollavum oruvarotae oruvar yosanai pannnnikkonndu, avaravar thangal sthalangalilirunthu vanthaarkal. 12 Avarkal thooraththil varukaiyil thangal kannkalai aeraெduththup paarththapothu, avanai uruththeriyaamal, saththamittu aluthu, avaravar thangal saalvaiyaik kiliththu, vaanaththaip paarththu: thangal thalaikalmael puluthiyaith thoottikkonndu, And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

13 Vanthu, avan thukkam makaakotiya thukkam entu kanndu, oruvarum avanodu oru vaarththaiyaiyum paesaamal, iravupakal aelunaal, avanodukoodath tharaiyilae utkaarnthirunthaarkal. So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.
