Jeremiah 8 in Tamil

1 அக்காலத்திலே யூதாவினுடைய ராஜாக்களின் எலும்புகளையும், அவர்களுடைய பிரபுக்களின் எலும்புகளையும், ஆசாரியர்களின் எலும்புகளையும், தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் எலும்புகளையும், எருசலேமுடைய குடிகளின் எலும்புகளையும், அவர்களுடைய பிரேதக்குழிகளிலிருந்து எடுத்து, At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:

2 அவர்கள் நேசித்ததும், சேவித்ததும்,பின்பற்றினதும், நாடினதும், பணிந்துகொண்டதுமாயிருந்த சூரியனுக்கும், சந்திரனுக்கும், வானத்தின் சர்வசேனைக்கும் முன்பாக அவைகளைப் பரப்பிவைப்பார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அவைகள் வாரி அடக்கம்பண்ணப்படாமல் பூமியின்மேல் எருவாகும். And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.

3 இந்தத் துஷ்ட வம்சத்தில் மீதியாயிருந்து, என்னால் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் துரத்திவிடப்பட்டு மீந்திருக்கிற யாவருக்கும், ஜீவனைப்பார்க்கிலும் மரணமே விருப்பமாயிருக்குமென்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts.

4 நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: விழுந்தவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்கிறதில்லையோ? வழிதப்பிப்போனவர்கள் திரும்புகிறதில்லையோ? Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?

5 ஆனாலும் எருசலேமியராகிய இந்த ஜனம் என்றைக்கும் வழிதப்பிப்போகிறதென்ன? கபடத்தை உறுதியாய்ப் பிடித்திருக்கிறார்கள்; திரும்பமாட்டோம் என்கிறார்கள். Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

6 நான் கவனித்துக் கேட்டேன், அவர்கள் யதார்த்தம் பேசவில்லை; என்ன செய்தேனென்று சொல்லி, தன் பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் மனஸ்தாபப்படுகிறவன் ஒருவனுமில்லை; யுத்தத்துக்குள் பாய்கிற குதிரையைப்போல அவரவர் வேகமாய் ஓடிப்போனார்கள். I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.

7 ஆகாயத்திலுள்ள நாரை முதலாய்த் தன் வேளையை அறியும்; காட்டுப்புறாவும், கொக்கும், தகைவிலான் குவியும் தாங்கள் வரத்தக்க காலத்தை அறியும்; என் ஜனங்களோ கர்த்தரின் நியாயத்தை அறியார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல். Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.

8 நாங்கள் ஞானிகளென்றும், கர்த்தருடைய வேதம் எங்களிடத்திலிருக்கிறதென்றும் நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிறதெப்படி மெய்யாகவே, இதோ, வேதபாரகரின் கள்ள எழுத்தாணி அதை அபத்தமாக்கிறது. How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

9 ஞானிகள் வெட்கி, கலங்கிப் பிடிபடுவார்கள்; இதோ, கர்த்தருடைய சொல்லை வெறுத்துப்போட்டார்கள்; அவர்களுக்கு ஞானமேது? The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?

10 ஆகையால் அவர்களுடைய ஸ்திரீகளை அந்நியருக்கும், அவர்களுடைய வயல்களை அவைகளைக் கட்டிக்கொள்பவர்களுக்கும் கொடுப்பேன்; அவர்களிலே சிறியோர் தொடங்கிப் பெரியோர்மட்டும் ஒவ்வொருவரும் பொருளாசைக்காரராயிருக்கிறார்கள்; தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் தொடங்கி ஆசாரியர்கள் மட்டும் ஒவ்வொருவரும் பொய்யராயிருந்து, Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

11 சமாதானமில்லாதிருதும், சமாதானம் சமாதானம் என்று சொல்லி, என் ஜனமாகிய குமாரத்தியின் காயங்களை மேற்பூச்சாய்க் குணமாக்குகிறார்கள். For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

12 தாங்கள் அருவருப்பானதைச் செய்ததினிமித்தம் வெட்கப்படுகிறார்களா? பரிச்சேதம் வெட்கப்படார்கள், நாணவும் அறியார்கள்; ஆகையால் விழுகிறவர்களுக்குள்ளே விழுவார்கள்; நான் அவர்களை விசாரிக்குங்காலத்திலே இடறுண்டுபோவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

13 அவர்களை முற்றிலும் அழித்துப்போடுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; திராட்சச்செடியிலே குலைகளிராது, அத்திமரத்திலே பழங்களிராது, இலையும் உதிரும், நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தது அவர்களைவிட்டுத் தாண்டிப்போகும் என்று சொல். I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.

14 நாம் சும்மாயிருப்பானேன்? கூடிவாருங்கள்; நாம் அரணான பட்டணங்களுக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, அங்கே சங்காரமாவோம்; நாம் கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பாவஞ்செய்தபடியால், நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நம்மைச் சங்காரம்பண்ணி, நமக்குப் பிச்சுக்கலந்த தண்ணீரைக் குடிக்கக்கொடுக்கிறார். Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.

15 சமாதானத்துக்குக் காத்திருந்தோம், பிரயோஜனமில்லை; ஆரோக்கியகாலத்துக்குக் காத்திருந்தோம், இதோ, ஆபத்து. We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble!

16 தாணிலிருந்து அவர்களுடைய குதிரைகளின் மூச்செறிதல் கேட்கப்படுகிறது; அவர்களுடைய பலத்த அஸ்வங்கள் கனைக்கிற சத்தத்தினால் தேசமெல்லாம் அதிருகிறது; அவர்கள் வந்து தேசத்தையும் அதில் உள்ளவைகளையும், பட்டணத்தையும் அதின் குடிகளையும் பட்சிப்பார்கள். The snorting of his horses was heard from Dan: the whole land trembled at the sound of the neighing of his strong ones; for they are come, and have devoured the land, and all that is in it; the city, and those that dwell therein.

17 மெய்யாய், இதோ, தடைகட்டப்படாத சர்ப்பங்களையும், கட்டுவிரியன்களையும் உங்களுக்குள் அனுப்புகிறேன், அவைகள் உங்களைக் கடிக்கும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.

18 நான் சஞ்சலத்தில் ஆறுதலடையப்பார்த்தும், என் இருதயம் பலட்சயமாயிருக்கிறது. When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me.

19 இதோ, சீயோனில் கர்த்தர் இல்லையோ? அதில் ராஜா இல்லையோ? என்று, என் ஜனமாகிய குமாரத்தி தூரதேசத்திலிருந்து கூப்பிடும் சத்தம் கேட்கப்படுகிறது; ஆனால், அவர்கள் தங்கள் சுரூபங்களினாலும் அந்நியரின் மாயைகளினாலும் எனக்குக் கோபமுண்டாக்கினது என்ன என்கிறார். Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?

21 என் ஜனமாகிய குமாரத்தியின் காயங்களினால் நானும் காயப்பட்டேன்; கரிகறுத்திருக்கிறேன்; திகைப்பு என்னைப் பிடித்தது. For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.

22 கீலேயாத்திலே பிசின் தைலம் இல்லையோ? இரணவைத்தியனும் அங்கே இல்லையோ? பின்னை ஏன் என் ஜனமாகிய குமாரத்தி சொஸ்தமடையாமற்போனாள்? Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?

1 Akkaalaththilae yoothaavinutaiya raajaakkalin elumpukalaiyum, avarkalutaiya pirapukkalin elumpukalaiyum, aasaariyarkalin elumpukalaiyum, theerkkatharisikalin elumpukalaiyum, erusalaemutaiya kutikalin elumpukalaiyum, avarkalutaiya piraethakkulikalilirunthu eduththu, At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves:

2 Avarkal naesiththathum, seviththathum,pinpattinathum, naatinathum, panninthukonndathumaayiruntha sooriyanukkum, santhiranukkum, vaanaththin sarvasenaikkum munpaaka avaikalaip parappivaippaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar; avaikal vaari adakkampannnappadaamal poomiyinmael eruvaakum. And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.

3 Inthath thushda vamsaththil meethiyaayirunthu, ennaal ellaa idangalilum thuraththividappattu meenthirukkira yaavarukkum, jeevanaippaarkkilum maranamae viruppamaayirukkumentu senaikalin Karththar sollukiraar. 4 Nee avarkalai Nnokki: vilunthavarkal elunthirukkirathillaiyo? Valithappipponavarkal thirumpukirathillaiyo? Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?

5 Aanaalum erusalaemiyaraakiya intha janam entaikkum valithappippokirathenna? Kapadaththai uraுthiyaayp pitiththirukkiraarkal; thirumpamaattaோm enkiraarkal. Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

6 Naan kavaniththuk kaettaேn, avarkal yathaarththam paesavillai; enna seythaenentu solli, than pollaappinimiththam manasthaapappadukiravan oruvanumillai; yuththaththukkul paaykira kuthiraiyaippola avaravar vaekamaay otipponaarkal. I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.

7 Aakaayaththilulla naarai muthalaayth than vaelaiyai ariyum; kaattuppuraavum, kokkum, thakaivilaan kuviyum thaangal varaththakka kaalaththai ariyum; en janangalo karththarin niyaayaththai ariyaarkal entu Karththar uraikkiraar entu sol. Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.

8 Naangal njaanikalentum, karththarutaiya vaetham engalidaththilirukkirathentum neengal sollukiratheppati meyyaakavae, itho, vaethapaarakarin kalla eluththaanni athai apaththamaakkirathu. How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

9 Njaanikal vetki, kalangip pitipaduvaarkal; itho, karththarutaiya sollai veraுththuppottarkal; avarkalukku njaanamaethu? The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?

10 Aakaiyaal avarkalutaiya sthireekalai anniyarukkum, avarkalutaiya vayalkalai avaikalaik kattikkolpavarkalukkum koduppaen; avarkalilae siriyor thodangip periyormattum ovvoruvarum porulaasaikkaararaayirukkiraarkal; theerkkatharisikal thodangi aasaariyarkal mattum ovvoruvarum poyyaraayirunthu, Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.

11 Samaathaanamillaathiruthum, samaathaanam samaathaanam entu solli, en janamaakiya kumaaraththiyin kaayangalai maerpoochchaாyk kunamaakkukiraarkal. For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

12 Thaangal aruvaruppaanathaich seythathinimiththam vetkappadukiraarkalaa? Parichchaேtham vetkappadaarkal, naanavum ariyaarkal; aakaiyaal vilukiravarkalukkullae viluvaarkal; naan avarkalai visaarikkungaalaththilae idaraுnndupovaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar. 13 Avarkalai muttilum aliththuppoduvaen entu Karththar sollukiraar; thiraatchachchetiyilae kulaikaliraathu, aththimaraththilae palangaliraathu, ilaiyum uthirum, naan avarkalukkuk koduththathu avarkalaivittuth thaanntippokum entu sol. I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.

14 Naam summaayiruppaanaen? Kootivaarungal; naam arannaana pattanangalukkul piravaesiththu, angae sangaaramaavom; naam karththarukku virothamaayp paavanjaெythapatiyaal, nammutaiya thaevanaakiya Karththar nammaich sangaarampannnni, namakkup pichchukkalantha thannnneeraik kutikkakkodukkiraar. 15 Samaathaanaththukkuk kaaththirunthom, pirayojanamillai; aarokkiyakaalaththukkuk kaaththirunthom, itho, aapaththu. We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble!

16 Thaannilirunthu avarkalutaiya kuthiraikalin moochcherithal kaetkappadukirathu; avarkalutaiya palaththa asvangal kanaikkira saththaththinaal thaesamellaam athirukirathu; avarkal vanthu thaesaththaiyum athil ullavaikalaiyum, pattanaththaiyum athin kutikalaiyum patchippaarkal. 17 Meyyaay, itho, thataikattappadaatha sarppangalaiyum, kattuviriyankalaiyum ungalukkul anuppukiraேn, avaikal ungalaik katikkum entu Karththar sollukiraar. For, behold, I will send serpents, cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall bite you, saith the LORD.

18 Naan sanjalaththil aaraுthalataiyappaarththum, en iruthayam palatchayamaayirukkirathu. When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint in me.

19 Itho, seeyonil Karththar illaiyo? Athil raajaa illaiyo? Entu, en janamaakiya kumaaraththi thoorathaesaththilirunthu kooppidum saththam kaetkappadukirathu; aanaal, avarkal thangal suroopangalinaalum anniyarin maayaikalinaalum enakkuk kopamunndaakkinathu enna enkiraar. Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? 20 Araுppukkaalam sentathu, kotaikkaalamum mutinthathu, naamo iratchikkappadavillai. The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

21 En janamaakiya kumaaraththiyin kaayangalinaal naanum kaayappattaேn; karikaraுththirukkiraேn; thikaippu ennaip pitiththathu. For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.

22 Geelaeyaaththilae pisin thailam illaiyo? Iranavaiththiyanum angae illaiyo? Pinnai aen en janamaakiya kumaaraththi sosthamataiyaamarponaal? Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
