Ezekiel 21 in Tamil

1 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் முகத்தை எருசலேமுக்கு நேராகத் திருப்பி, பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக உன் வசனத்தைப் பொழிந்து, இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்துக்கு விரோதமாகத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

3 இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தை நோக்கி, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், இதோ, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக வந்து, என் பட்டயத்தை அதின் உறையிலிருந்து உருவி, உன்னில் சன்மார்க்கனையும் துன்மார்க்கனையும் சங்காரம்பண்ணுவேன். And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

4 நான் உன்னில் சன்மார்க்கனையும் துன்மார்க்கனையும் சங்காரம்பண்ணப்போகிறபடியினால் தெற்குதுவக்கி வடக்குமட்டுமுள்ள எல்லா மாம்சத்துக்கும் விரோதமாய் என் பட்டயம் அதின் உறையிலிருந்து புறப்படும். Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

5 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தராகிய நான் என் பட்டயத்தை அதின் உறையிலிருந்து உருவினேன் என்பதை எல்லா மாம்சமும் அறியும்; அது இனி உறைக்குள் திரும்புவதில்லை. That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.

6 ஆதலால் மனுபுத்திரனே, உன் இடுப்பு நொறுங்கும்படி பெருமூச்சுவிடு; அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக மனங்கசந்து பெருமூச்சுவிடு. Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.

7 நீ எதினிமித்தம் பெருமூச்சுவிடுகிறாய் என்று அவர்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் கேட்டால், நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: துர்ச்செய்தி வருகிறதினிமித்தமே; அதினால் இருதயங்களெல்லாம் உருகி, கைகளெல்லாம் தளர்ந்து, மனமெல்லாம் தியங்கி, முழங்கால்களெல்லாம் தண்ணீரைப்போல அலைவுண்ணும்; இதோ, அது வந்து சம்பவிக்கும் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார். And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.

8 கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

9 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்து, சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: பட்டயம் கூர்மையாக்கப்பட்டது, பட்டயம் கூர்மையாக்கப்பட்டது; அது துலக்கப்பட்டுமிருக்கிறது. Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

10 மகா சங்காரஞ்செய்வதற்கு அது கூர்மையாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; மின்னத்தக்கதாய் அது துலக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; சந்தோஷப்படுவோமோ? அது என் குமாரனுடைய கோல், அது சகல விருட்சங்களையும் அலட்சியம்பண்ணும். It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree.

11 அதைக் கையாடும்படி அதைத்துலக்கக் கொடுத்தார்; கொல்லுகிறவன் கையிலே கொடுக்கும்படி அந்தப் பட்டயம் கூர்மையாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; அது துலக்கப்பட்டதுமாயிருக்கிறது என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல். And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.

12 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ ஓலமிட்டு அலறு; பட்டயம் என் ஜனத்தின்மேல் வரும்; அது இஸ்ரவேல் பிரபுக்கள் எல்லார்மேலும் வரும்; அதினிமித்தம் என் ஜனத்துக்குள்ளே திகில் உண்டாயிருக்கும்; ஆகையால் உன் விலாவிலே அடித்துக்கொள். Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.

13 யாவையும் கண்டிக்கிற கோல் வந்தாலொழிய இனிச் சோதனையினால் தீருகிறதென்னவென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.

14 ஆகையால் மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லி, கையோடே கைகொட்டு; பட்டயம் மூன்றுதரம் இரட்டித்துவரும்; அது கொலையுண்டவர்களின் பட்டயம்; அது கொலையுண்ணப்போகிற பெரியவர்களின் உள்ளறைகளில் பிரவேசிக்கிற பட்டயம். Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together. and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers.

15 அவர்களுடைய இருதயம் கரைந்து, அவர்களுடைய இடையூறுகள் திரளாகும்படி, பட்டயத்தின் கூர்மையை அவர்களுடைய எல்லா வாசல்களுக்கும் நேரிடக் கட்டளையிடுவேன்; ஆ, அது மின்னும்படியாகப் பதமிடப்பட்டது, வெட்டும்படியாகத் தீட்டிவைக்கப்பட்டது. I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.

16 ஏகபலமாய் வலதுபுறமாக வெட்டு, திரும்பி இடதுபுறமாகவும் வெட்டு; உன் முகம் திரும்புகிற திக்கெல்லாம் வெட்டு. Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.

17 நாம் கையோடே கைகொட்டி, என் உக்கிரத்தை ஆறப்பண்ணுவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய நான் சொன்னேன் என்றார். I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.

18 பின்னும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,

19 மனுபுத்திரனே, பாபிலோன் ராஜாவின் பட்டயம் வரத்தக்கதாக இரண்டுவழிகளைக் குறித்துக்கொள்; இரண்டும் ஒரே தேசத்திலிருந்து வரவேண்டும்; நீ ஒரு இடத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொள், நகரத்துக்குப் போகிற வழியின் முனையில் அந்த இடத்தைத் தெரிந்துகொள். Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.

20 பட்டயம் அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் பட்டயமாகிய ரப்பாவுக்கு விரோதமாக வரத்தக்க ஒரு வழியையும், யூதாவில் இருக்கிற அரணான எருசலேமுக்கு விரோதமாக வரத்தக்க ஒரு வழியையும் குறித்துக்கொள். Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.

21 பாபிலோன் ராஜா இரண்டு வழிகளின் முனையாகிய வழிப்பிரிவிலே நிமித்தம் பார்க்கிறதற்காக நிற்பான்; அம்புகளைத் தீட்டி, விக்கிரகங்களை உசாவி, ஈரலால் குறிபார்ப்பான். For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.

22 தலைவரை நியமிக்கிறதற்கும், சங்காரஞ்செய்யும்படி ஆர்ப்பரிக்கிறதற்கும், கெம்பீரமாய்ச் சத்தமிடுகிறதற்கும், வாசல்களை முட்டும் யந்திரங்களை வைக்கிறதற்கும, மண்மேடு போடுகிறதற்கும், கொத்தளங்களைக் கட்டுகிறதற்கும், எருசலேமைக்குறித்து நிமித்தம் பார்க்குதல் அவனுடைய வலதுபுறத்திலே உண்டாயிருக்கும். At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.

23 இந்த நிமித்தமானது ஆணையிட்டவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகப் பொய்யாகத் தோன்றும்; ஆயினும் அவர்கள் பிடிக்கப்படும்படி அவன் அவர்கள் துரோகத்தை நினைப்பான். And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.

24 ஆகையால் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: உங்கள் துரோகங்கள் வெளியரங்கமாகிறதினாலும், உங்கள் செய்கைகளிலெல்லாம் உங்கள் பாவங்கள் தெரியவருகிறதினாலும், நீங்கள் உங்கள் அக்கிரமத்தை நினைக்கப்பண்ணுகிறீர்களே; நீங்கள் இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களென்று நினைக்கப்படுகிறீர்களே; ஆதலால் கைப்பிடியாய் பிடிக்கப்படுவீர்கள். Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

25 இஸ்ரவேலை ஆளுகிற அவபக்தியுள்ள துன்மார்க்க அதிபதியே, அக்கிரமத்துக்கு முடிவுவருங்காலத்தில் உன் நாள் வந்தது. And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,

26 பாகையைக் கழற்று, கிரீடத்தை எடுத்துப்போடு; அது இனி முன்போலிராது; தாழ்ந்தவனை உயர்த்தி, உயர்ந்தவனைத் தாழ்த்துவேன். Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

27 அதைக் கவிழ்ப்பேன், கவிழ்ப்பேன், கவிழ்ப்பேன்; உரிமைக்காரனானவர் வருமட்டும் அது இல்லாதிருக்கும்; அவருக்கே அதைக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

28 பின்னும் மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லு: அம்மோன் புத்திரரையும் அவர்கள் சொல்லும் நிந்தனைகளையும் குறித்துக் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால், And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:

29 அக்கிரமத்துக்கு முடிவுவருங்காலத்தில் வந்த தங்களுடைய நாளுக்கு ஏதுவாகி, கொலையுண்டுபோனவர்களுடைய பிடரிகளோடேகூட என்னைத் துன்மார்க்கரின் கையினால் விழப்பண்ணும்படிக்கு, உனக்கு அபத்தமானது தரிசிக்கப்படுகிறபோதும், உனக்குப் பொய்நிமித்தம் பார்க்கப்படுகிறபோதும் பட்டயம் உருவப்பட்டது, பட்டயமே உருவப்பட்டது; வெட்டவும் சங்கரிக்கவும் அது மின்னத்தக்கதாய்த் துலக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

30 உன் பட்டயத்தை நீ திரும்ப அதின் உறையிலே போடு; சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட ஸ்தானமாகிய என் ஜெந்மதேசத்திலே நான் உன்னை நியாயந்தீர்த்து, Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.

31 என் சினத்தை உன்மேல் ஊற்றுவேன்; நான் என் மூர்க்கத்தின் அக்கினியை உன்மேல் ஊதி, மிருககுணமுள்ளவர்களும், அழிக்கிறதற்குத் திறமையுள்ளவர்களுமாகிய மனுஷரின் கையில் உன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன். And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.

32 நீ அக்கினிக்கு இரையாவாய்; உன் இரத்தம் உன் தேசத்தின் நடுவில் சிந்திக்கிடக்கும்; நீ இனி நினைக்கப்படுவதில்லை; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இதைச் சொன்னேன் என்றார். Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

1 Appoluthu karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Manupuththiranae, nee un mukaththai erusalaemukku naeraakath thiruppi, Parisuththa sthalangalukku virothamaaka un vasanaththaip polinthu, Israel thaesaththukku virothamaakath theerkkatharisanam uraiththu, Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

3 Israel thaesaththai Nnokki, karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, itho, naan unakku virothamaaka vanthu, en pattayaththai athin uraiyilirunthu uruvi, unnil sanmaarkkanaiyum thunmaarkkanaiyum sangaarampannnuvaen. And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.

4 Naan unnil sanmaarkkanaiyum thunmaarkkanaiyum sangaarampannnappokirapatiyinaal therkuthuvakki vadakkumattumulla ellaa maamsaththukkum virothamaay en pattayam athin uraiyilirunthu purappadum. Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

5 Appoluthu karththaraakiya naan en pattayaththai athin uraiyilirunthu uruvinaen enpathai ellaa maamsamum ariyum; athu ini uraikkul thirumpuvathillai. That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.

6 Aathalaal manupuththiranae, un iduppu noraுngumpati perumoochchuvidu; avarkal kannkalukku munpaaka manangasanthu perumoochchuvidu. Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.

7 Nee ethinimiththam perumoochchuvidukiraay entu avarkal unnidaththil kaettal, nee avarkalai Nnokki: thurchcheythi varukirathinimiththamae; athinaal iruthayangalellaam uruki, kaikalellaam thalarnthu, manamellaam thiyangi, mulangaalkalellaam thannnneeraippola alaivunnnum; itho, athu vanthu sampavikkum entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar entu sol entar. And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.

8 Karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

9 Manupuththiranae, nee theerkkatharisanam uraiththu, sollavaenntiyathu ennavental: pattayam koormaiyaakkappattathu, pattayam koormaiyaakkappattathu; athu thulakkappattumirukkirathu. Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:

10 Makaa sangaaranjaெyvatharku athu koormaiyaakkappattirukkirathu; minnaththakkathaay athu thulakkappattirukkirathu; santhoshappaduvomo? Athu en kumaaranutaiya kol, athu sakala virutchangalaiyum alatchiyampannnum. It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree.

11 Athaik kaiyaadumpati athaiththulakkak koduththaar; kollukiravan kaiyilae kodukkumpati anthap pattayam koormaiyaakkappattirukkirathu; athu thulakkappattathumaayirukkirathu entu Karththar uraikkiraar entu sol. And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.

12 Manupuththiranae, nee olamittu alaraு; pattayam en janaththinmael varum; athu Israel pirapukkal ellaarmaelum varum; athinimiththam en janaththukkullae thikil unndaayirukkum; aakaiyaal un vilaavilae atiththukkol. Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.

13 Yaavaiyum kanntikkira kol vanthaaloliya inich sothanaiyinaal theerukirathennaventu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar. Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.

14 Aakaiyaal manupuththiranae, nee theerkkatharisanam solli, kaiyotae kaikottu; pattayam moontutharam irattiththuvarum; athu kolaiyunndavarkalin pattayam; athu kolaiyunnnappokira periyavarkalin ullaraikalil piravaesikkira pattayam. Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together. and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers.

15 Avarkalutaiya iruthayam karainthu, avarkalutaiya itaiyooraுkal thiralaakumpati, pattayaththin koormaiyai avarkalutaiya ellaa vaasalkalukkum naeridak kattalaiyiduvaen; aa, athu minnumpatiyaakap pathamidappattathu, vettumpatiyaakath theettivaikkappattathu. I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.

16 Aekapalamaay valathupuramaaka vettu, thirumpi idathupuramaakavum vettu; un mukam thirumpukira thikkellaam vettu. Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.

17 Naam kaiyotae kaikotti, en ukkiraththai aarappannnuvaen entu karththaraakiya naan sonnaen entar. I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.

18 Pinnum karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,

19 Manupuththiranae, paapilon raajaavin pattayam varaththakkathaaka irannduvalikalaik kuriththukkol; iranndum orae thaesaththilirunthu varavaenndum; nee oru idaththaith therinthukol, nakaraththukkup pokira valiyin munaiyil antha idaththaith therinthukol. Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.

20 Pattayam ammon puththirarin pattayamaakiya rappaavukku virothamaaka varaththakka oru valiyaiyum, yoothaavil irukkira arannaana erusalaemukku virothamaaka varaththakka oru valiyaiyum kuriththukkol. Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.

21 Paapilon raajaa iranndu valikalin munaiyaakiya valippirivilae nimiththam paarkkiratharkaaka nirpaan; ampukalaith theetti, vikkirakangalai usaavi, eeralaal kuripaarppaan. 22 Thalaivarai niyamikkiratharkum, sangaaranjaெyyumpati aarpparikkiratharkum, kempeeramaaych saththamidukiratharkum, vaasalkalai muttum yanthirangalai vaikkiratharkuma, mannmaedu podukiratharkum, koththalangalaik kattukiratharkum, erusalaemaikkuriththu nimiththam paarkkuthal avanutaiya valathupuraththilae unndaayirukkum. At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.

23 Intha nimiththamaanathu aannaiyittavarkalukku munpaakap poyyaakath thontum; aayinum avarkal pitikkappadumpati avan avarkal thurokaththai ninaippaan. And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.

24 Aakaiyaal karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukirathu ennavental: ungal thurokangal veliyarangamaakirathinaalum, ungal seykaikalilellaam ungal paavangal theriyavarukirathinaalum, neengal ungal akkiramaththai ninaikkappannnukireerkalae; neengal ippatippattavarkalentu ninaikkappadukireerkalae; aathalaal kaippitiyaay pitikkappaduveerkal. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.

25 Isravaelai aalukira avapakthiyulla thunmaarkka athipathiyae, akkiramaththukku mutivuvarungaalaththil un naal vanthathu. And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,

26 Paakaiyaik kalattaு, kireedaththai eduththuppodu; athu ini munpoliraathu; thaalnthavanai uyarththi, uyarnthavanaith thaalththuvaen. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

27 Athaik kavilppaen, kavilppaen, kavilppaen; urimaikkaaranaanavar varumattum athu illaathirukkum; avarukkae athaik koduppaen entu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar. I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

28 Pinnum manupuththiranae, nee theerkkatharisanam sollu: ammon puththiraraiyum avarkal sollum ninthanaikalaiyum kuriththuk karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental, And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:

29 Akkiramaththukku mutivuvarungaalaththil vantha thangalutaiya naalukku aethuvaaki, kolaiyunnduponavarkalutaiya pidarikalotaekooda ennaith thunmaarkkarin kaiyinaal vilappannnumpatikku, unakku apaththamaanathu tharisikkappadukirapothum, unakkup poynimiththam paarkkappadukirapothum pattayam uruvappattathu, pattayamae uruvappattathu; vettavum sangarikkavum athu minnaththakkathaayth thulakkappattirukkirathu. Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.

30 Un pattayaththai nee thirumpa athin uraiyilae podu; sirushtikkappatta sthaanamaakiya en jenmathaesaththilae naan unnai niyaayantheerththu, Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.

31 En sinaththai unmael oottaுvaen; naan en moorkkaththin akkiniyai unmael oothi, mirukakunamullavarkalum, alikkiratharkuth thiramaiyullavarkalumaakiya manusharin kaiyil unnai oppukkoduppaen. And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.

32 Nee akkinikku iraiyaavaay; un iraththam un thaesaththin naduvil sinthikkidakkum; nee ini ninaikkappaduvathillai; karththaraakiya naan ithaich sonnaen entar. Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
