Exodus 14 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 நீங்கள் திரும்பி மிக்தோலுக்கும் சமுத்திரத்துக்கும் நடுவே பாகால்செபோனுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிற ஈரோத் பள்ளத்தாக்கின் முன்னடியிலே பாளயமிறங்கவேண்டும் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லு; அதற்கு எதிராகச் சமுத்திரக்கரையிலே பாளயமிறங்குவீர்களாக. Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

3 அப்பொழுது பார்வோன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரைக் குறித்து: அவர்கள் தேசத்திலே திகைத்துத் திரிகிறார்கள்; வனாந்தரம் அவர்களை அடைத்துப்போட்டது என்று சொல்லுவான். For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

4 ஆகையால், பார்வோன் அவர்களைப் பின்தொடரும்படிக்கு, நான் அவன் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தி, நானே கர்த்தர் என்பதை எகிப்தியர் அறியும்படி, பார்வோனாலும் அவனுடைய எல்லா ராணுவத்தாலும் மகிமைப்படுவேன் என்றார்; அவர்கள் அப்படியே செய்தார்கள். And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honored upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

5 ஜனங்கள் ஓடிப்போய்விட்டார்கள் என்று எகிப்தின் ராஜாவுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, ஜனங்களுக்கு விரோதமாகப் பார்வோனும் அவன் ஊழியக்காரரும் மனம் வேறுபட்டு: நமக்கு வேலை செய்யாதபடிக்கு நாம் இஸ்ரவேலரைப் போகவிட்டது என்ன காரியம் என்றார்கள். And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

6 அவன் தன் இரதத்தைப் பூட்டி, தன் ஜனங்களைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:

7 பிரதானமான அறுநூறு இரதங்களையும், எகிப்திலுள்ள மற்ற சகல இரதங்களையும், அவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் அதிபதிகளான வீரரையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு போனான். And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

8 கர்த்தர் எகிப்தின் ராஜாவாகிய பார்வோனின் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தினார்; அவன் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரைப் பின்தொடர்ந்தான், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் பலத்த கையுடன் புறப்பட்டுப் போனார்கள். And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

9 எகிப்தியர் பார்வோனுடைய சகல குதிரைகளோடும் இரதங்களோடும் அவனுடைய குதிரைவீரரோடும் சேனைகளோடும் அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்துபோய், சமுத்திரத்தண்டையிலே பாகால்செபோனுக்கு எதிரே இருக்கிற ஈரோத் பள்ளத்தாக்கின் முன்னடியிலே பாளயமிறங்கியிருக்கிற அவர்களைக் கிட்டினார்கள். But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

10 பார்வோன் சமீபித்து வருகிற போது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துப்பார்த்து, எகிப்தியர் தங்களுக்குப் பின்னே வருகிறதைக் கண்டு, மிகவும் பயந்தார்கள்; அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள். And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

11 அன்றியும் அவர்கள் மோசேயை நோக்கி: எகிப்திலே பிரேதக்குழிகள் இல்லையென்றா வனாந்தரத்திலே சாகும்படிக்கு எங்களைக் கொண்டுவந்தீர்? நீர் எங்களை எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினதினால், எங்களுக்கு இப்படிச் செய்தது என்ன? And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

12 நாங்கள் எகிப்திலே இருக்கும் போது, நாங்கள் எகிப்தியருக்கு வேலைசெய்ய எங்களைச் சும்மா விட்டுவிடும் என்று சொன்னோம் அல்லவா? நாங்கள் வனாந்தரத்திலே சாகிறதைப்பார்க்கிலும் எகிப்தியருக்கு வேலைசெய்கிறது எங்களுக்கு நலமாயிருக்குமே என்றார்கள். Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

13 அப்பொழுது மோசே ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: பயப்படாதிருங்கள்; நீங்கள் நின்றுகொண்டு இன்றைக்குக் கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யும் இரட்சிப்பைப் பாருங்கள்; இன்றைக்கு நீங்கள் காண்கிற எகிப்தியரை இனி என்றைக்கும் காணமாட்டீர்கள். And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14 கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்காக யுத்தம் பண்ணுவார்; நீங்கள் சும்மாயிருப்பீர்கள் என்றான். The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

15 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ என்னிடத்தில் முறையிடுகிறது என்ன? புறப்பட்டுப் போங்கள் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லு. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

16 நீ உன் கோலை ஓங்கி, உன் கையைச் சமுத்திரத்தின்மேல் நீட்டி, சமுத்திரத்தைப் பிளந்துவிடு; அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவாக வெட்டாந்தரையிலே நடந்துபோவார்கள். But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

17 எகிப்தியர் உங்களைப் பின் தொடர்ந்து வரும்படி நான் அவர்கள் இருதயத்தைக் கடினப்படுத்தி, பார்வோனாலும் அவன் இரதங்கள் குதிரைவீரர் முதலாகிய அவனுடைய எல்லா இராணுவத்தாலும் மகிமைப்படுவேன். And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

18 இப்படி நான் பார்வோனாலும் அவன் இரதங்களாலும் அவன் குதிரைவீரராலும் மகிமைப்படும்போது, நானே கர்த்தர் என்பதை எகிப்தியர் அறிவார்கள் என்றார். And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

19 அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலரின் சேனைக்கு முன்னாக நடந்த தேவதூதனானவர் விலகி, அவர்களுக்குப் பின்னாக நடந்தார்; அவர்களுக்கு முன் இருந்த மேக ஸ்தம்பமும் விலகி, அவர்கள் பின்னே நின்றது. And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

20 அது எகிப்தியரின் சேனையும் இஸ்ரவேலரின் சேனையும் இராமுழுதும் ஒன்றோடொன்று சேராதபடி அவைகள் நடுவில் வந்தது; எகிப்தியருக்கு அது மேகமும் அந்தகாரமுமாய் இருந்தது, இஸ்ரவேலருக்கோ அது இரவை வெளிச்சமாக்கிற்று. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

21 மோசே தன் கையைச் சமுத்திரத்தின்மேல் நீட்டினான்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் இராமுழுதும் பலத்த கீழ்காற்றினால் சமுத்திரம் ஒதுங்கும்படி செய்து, அதை வறண்டுபோகப் பண்ணினார்; ஜலம் பிளந்து பிரிந்துபோயிற்று. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

22 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவாக வெட்டாந்தரையிலே நடந்துபோனார்கள்; அவர்கள் வலதுபுறத்திலும் அவர்கள் இடதுபுறத்திலும் ஜலம் அவர்களுக்கு மதிலாக நின்றது. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

23 அப்பொழுது எகிப்தியர் அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து, பார்வோனுடைய சகல குதிரைகளோடும் இரதங்களோடும் குதிரைவீரரோடும் அவர்கள் பிறகாலே சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவே பிரவேசித்தார்கள். And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24 கிழக்கு வெளுத்துவரும் ஜாமத்தில் கர்த்தர் அக்கினியும் மேகமுமான ஸ்தம்பத்திலிருந்து எகிப்தியரின் சேனையைப் பார்த்து, அவர்கள் சேனையைக் கலங்கடித்து, And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

25 அவர்களுடைய இரதங்களிலிருந்து உருளைகள் கழலவும், அவர்கள் தங்கள் இரதங்களை வருத்தத்தோடே நடத்தவும் பண்ணினார்; அப்பொழுது எகிப்தியர்: இஸ்ரவேலரைவிட்டு ஓடிப்போவோம், கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்குத் துணைநின்று எகிப்தியருக்கு விரோதமாய் யுத்தம்பண்ணுகிறார் என்றார்கள். And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

26 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: ஜலம் எகிப்தியர்மேலும் அவர்களுடைய இரதங்கள்மேலும் அவர்களுடைய குதிரைவீரர் மேலும் திரும்பும்படிக்கு, உன் கையைச் சமுத்திரத்தின்மேல் நீட்டு என்றார். And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

27 அப்படியே மோசே தன் கையைச் சமுத்திரத்தின்மேல் நீட்டினான்; விடியற்காலத்தில் சமுத்திரம் பலமாய் திரும்பி வந்தது; எகிப்தியர் அதற்கு எதிராக ஓடும்போது, கர்த்தர் அவர்களைக் கடலின் நடுவே கவிழ்த்துப்போட்டார். And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

28 ஜலம் திரும்பிவந்து, இரதங்களையும் குதிரைவீரரையும் அவர்கள் பின்னாக சமுத்திரத்தில் பிரவேசித்திருந்த பார்வோனுடைய இராணுவம் அனைத்தையும் மூடிக்கொண்டது; அவர்களில் ஒருவனாகிலும் தப்பவில்லை. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

29 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோ சமுத்திரத்தின் நடுவாக வெட்டாந்தரையின் வழியாய் நடந்துபோனார்கள்; அவர்கள் வலது புறத்திலும் அவர்கள் இடதுபுறத்திலும் ஜலம் அவர்களுக்கு மதிலாக நின்றது. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

30 இவ்விதமாய்க் கர்த்தர் அந்நாளிலே இஸ்ரவேலரை எகிப்தியரின் கைக்குத் தப்புவித்து ரட்சித்தார்; கடற்கரையிலே எகிப்தியர் செத்துக்கிடக்கிறதை இஸ்ரவேலர் கண்டார்கள். Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

31 கர்த்தர் எகிப்தியரில் செய்த அந்த மகத்தான கிரியையை இஸ்ரவேலர் கண்டார்கள்; அப்பொழுது ஜனங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து கர்த்தரிடத்திலும் அவருடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய மோசேயினிடத்திலும் விசுவாசம் வைத்தார்கள். And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

1 Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Neengal thirumpi miktholukkum samuththiraththukkum naduvae paakaalseponukku munpaaka irukkira eeroth pallaththaakkin munnatiyilae paalayamirangavaenndum entu Israel puththirarukkuch sollu; atharku ethiraakach samuththirakkaraiyilae paalayamiranguveerkalaaka. Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

3 Appoluthu paarvon Israel puththiraraik kuriththu: avarkal thaesaththilae thikaiththuth thirikiraarkal; vanaantharam avarkalai ataiththuppottathu entu solluvaan. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

4 Aakaiyaal, paarvon avarkalaip pinthodarumpatikku, naan avan iruthayaththaik katinappaduththi, naanae Karththar enpathai ekipthiyar ariyumpati, paarvonaalum avanutaiya ellaa raanuvaththaalum makimaippaduvaen entar; avarkal appatiyae seythaarkal. And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honored upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

5 Janangal otippoyvittarkal entu ekipthin raajaavukku arivikkappattapothu, janangalukku virothamaakap paarvonum avan ooliyakkaararum manam vaeraுpattu: namakku vaelai seyyaathapatikku naam isravaelaraip pokavittathu enna kaariyam entarkal. And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

6 Avan than irathaththaip pootti, than janangalaik koottikkonndu, And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:

7 Pirathaanamaana araுnooraு irathangalaiyum, ekipthilulla matta sakala irathangalaiyum, avaikal ellaavattirkum athipathikalaana veeraraiyum koottikkonndu ponaan. And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

8 Karththar ekipthin raajaavaakiya paarvonin iruthayaththaik katinappaduththinaar; avan Israel puththiraraip pinthodarnthaan, Israel puththirar palaththa kaiyudan purappattup ponaarkal. And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

9 Ekipthiyar paarvonutaiya sakala kuthiraikalodum irathangalodum avanutaiya kuthiraiveerarodum senaikalodum avarkalaith thodarnthupoy, samuththiraththanntaiyilae paakaalseponukku ethirae irukkira eeroth pallaththaakkin munnatiyilae paalayamirangiyirukkira avarkalaik kittinaarkal. But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

10 Paarvon sameepiththu varukira pothu, Israel puththirar thangal kannkalai aeraெduththuppaarththu, ekipthiyar thangalukkup pinnae varukirathaik kanndu, mikavum payanthaarkal; appoluthu Israel puththirar karththarai Nnokkik kooppittarkal. And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

11 Antiyum avarkal Mosesyai Nnokki: ekipthilae piraethakkulikal illaiyenta vanaantharaththilae saakumpatikku engalaik konnduvantheer? Neer engalai ekipthilirunthu purappadappannnninathinaal, engalukku ippatich seythathu enna? And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

12 Naangal ekipthilae irukkum pothu, naangal ekipthiyarukku vaelaiseyya engalaich summaa vittuvidum entu sonnom allavaa? Naangal vanaantharaththilae saakirathaippaarkkilum ekipthiyarukku vaelaiseykirathu engalukku nalamaayirukkumae entarkal. Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

13 Appoluthu Moses janangalai Nnokki: payappadaathirungal; neengal nintukonndu intaikkuk Karththar ungalukkuch seyyum iratchippaip paarungal; intaikku neengal kaannkira ekipthiyarai ini entaikkum kaanamaattirkal. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14 Karththar ungalukkaaka yuththam pannnuvaar; neengal summaayiruppeerkal entan. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

15 Appoluthu Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: nee ennidaththil muraiyidukirathu enna? Purappattup pongal entu Israel puththirarukkuch sollu. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

16 Nee un kolai ongi, un kaiyaich samuththiraththinmael neetti, samuththiraththaip pilanthuvidu; appoluthu Israel puththirar samuththiraththin naduvaaka vettantharaiyilae nadanthupovaarkal. But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

17 Ekipthiyar ungalaip pin thodarnthu varumpati naan avarkal iruthayaththaik katinappaduththi, paarvonaalum avan irathangal kuthiraiveerar muthalaakiya avanutaiya ellaa iraanuvaththaalum makimaippaduvaen. And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

18 Ippati naan paarvonaalum avan irathangalaalum avan kuthiraiveeraraalum makimaippadumpothu, naanae Karththar enpathai ekipthiyar arivaarkal entar. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

19 Appoluthu isravaelarin senaikku munnaaka nadantha thaevathoothanaanavar vilaki, avarkalukkup pinnaaka nadanthaar; avarkalukku mun iruntha maeka sthampamum vilaki, avarkal pinnae nintathu. And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

20 Athu ekipthiyarin senaiyum isravaelarin senaiyum iraamuluthum ontotontu seraathapati avaikal naduvil vanthathu; ekipthiyarukku athu maekamum anthakaaramumaay irunthathu, isravaelarukko athu iravai velichchamaakkittaு. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

21 Moses than kaiyaich samuththiraththinmael neettinaan; appoluthu Karththar iraamuluthum palaththa geelkaattinaal samuththiram othungumpati seythu, athai varanndupokap pannnninaar; jalam pilanthu pirinthupoyittaு. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

22 Israel puththirar samuththiraththin naduvaaka vettantharaiyilae nadanthuponaarkal; avarkal valathupuraththilum avarkal idathupuraththilum jalam avarkalukku mathilaaka nintathu. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

23 Appoluthu ekipthiyar avarkalaith thodarnthu, paarvonutaiya sakala kuthiraikalodum irathangalodum kuthiraiveerarodum avarkal pirakaalae samuththiraththin naduvae piravaesiththaarkal. And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24 Kilakku veluththuvarum jaamaththil Karththar akkiniyum maekamumaana sthampaththilirunthu ekipthiyarin senaiyaip paarththu, avarkal senaiyaik kalangatiththu, And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

25 Avarkalutaiya irathangalilirunthu urulaikal kalalavum, avarkal thangal irathangalai varuththaththotae nadaththavum pannnninaar; appoluthu ekipthiyar: isravaelaraivittu otippovom, Karththar avarkalukkuth thunnainintu ekipthiyarukku virothamaay yuththampannnukiraar entarkal. And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

26 Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: jalam ekipthiyarmaelum avarkalutaiya irathangalmaelum avarkalutaiya kuthiraiveerar maelum thirumpumpatikku, un kaiyaich samuththiraththinmael neettu entar. And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

27 Appatiyae Moses than kaiyaich samuththiraththinmael neettinaan; vitiyarkaalaththil samuththiram palamaay thirumpi vanthathu; ekipthiyar atharku ethiraaka odumpothu, Karththar avarkalaik kadalin naduvae kavilththuppottar. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

28 Jalam thirumpivanthu, irathangalaiyum kuthiraiveeraraiyum avarkal pinnaaka samuththiraththil piravaesiththiruntha paarvonutaiya iraanuvam anaiththaiyum mootikkonndathu; avarkalil oruvanaakilum thappavillai. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

29 Israel puththiraro samuththiraththin naduvaaka vettantharaiyin valiyaay nadanthuponaarkal; avarkal valathu puraththilum avarkal idathupuraththilum jalam avarkalukku mathilaaka nintathu. But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

30 Ivvithamaayk Karththar annaalilae isravaelarai ekipthiyarin kaikkuth thappuviththu ratchiththaar; kadarkaraiyilae ekipthiyar seththukkidakkirathai isravaelar kanndaarkal. Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

31 Karththar ekipthiyaril seytha antha makaththaana kiriyaiyai isravaelar kanndaarkal; appoluthu janangal karththarukkup payanthu karththaridaththilum avarutaiya ooliyakkaaranaakiya Mosesyinidaththilum visuvaasam vaiththaarkal. And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
