Titus 2 - DBY (Bengali)

1 But do *thou* speak the things that become sound teaching;সত্য শিক্ষা অনুসরণের জন্য তুমি অবশ্যই লোকেদের এইসব কাজ করতে বলবে৷

2 that the elder men be sober, grave, discreet, sound in faith, in love, in patience;বৃদ্ধদের বল, য়েন তাঁরা আত্মসংযমী, গন্ভীর ও বিজ্ঞ হন৷ তাঁরা য়েন বিশ্বাসে, ভালোবাসায় ধৈর্য়ে দৃঢ় হন৷

3 that the elder women in like manner be in deportment as becoming those who have to say to sacred things, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of what is right;সেইভাবে বৃদ্ধদের বল তাঁরা য়েন আচরণে পবিত্র হন৷ তাঁরা য়েন অপরের সম্বন্ধে মিথ্যা অপবাদ রটিয়ে না বেড়ান ও দ্রাক্ষারসপানে আসক্ত না হন৷ কিন্তু তাঁরা য়েন সত্ শিক্ষা দিয়ে বেড়ান৷

4 that they may admonish the young women to be attached to [their] husbands, to be attached to [their] children,এবং যুবতীদের শিক্ষা দেন য়েন তারা তাদের স্বামীদের ও সন্তানদের ভালবাসে৷

5 discreet, chaste, diligent in home work, good, subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be evil spoken of.তারা য়েন বিচক্ষণ, পরিশুদ্ধ, গৃহকার্য়ে নিষ্ঠাবতী, দয়ামযী ও স্বামীর প্রতি অনুগত হয় তাহলে কেউ ঈশ্বরের বার্তা সম্বন্ধে বিরূপ মন্তব্য করতে পারবে না৷

6 The younger men in like manner exhort to be discreet:সেইভাবে যুবকদের বল য়েন তারা সব কিছুতেই আত্মসংযম বজায় রাখে;

7 in all things affording thyself as a pattern of good works; in teaching uncorruptedness, gravity,আর তুমি নিজে সব বিষয়ে তাদের সামনে সত্ কাজের আদর্শ হও৷ তুমি যখন শিক্ষা দেবে তখন সততা ও গাম্ভীর্য়ের সঙ্গে তা দিও৷

8 a sound word, not to be condemned; that he who is opposed may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us:যখন কথা বলবে তখন সত্য বলো য়েন যা তুমি বলছ কেউ তার সমালোচনা করতে না পারে৷ এর ফলে তোমার বিপক্ষরা লজ্জায় পড়বে, কারণ তোমার সম্পর্কে সে খারাপ কিছুই বলতে পারবে না৷

9 bondmen to be subject to their own masters, to make themselves acceptable in everything; not gainsaying;দাসদের তুমি এই শিক্ষা দাও; তারা য়েন সবসময় নিজেদের মনিবদের আজ্ঞা পালন করে, তাদের সন্তুষ্ট রাখার আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করে, এবং মনিবদের কথার প্রতিবাদ না করে৷

10 not robbing [their masters], but shewing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the teaching which [is] of our Saviour God in all things.তারা য়েন মনিবদের কিছু চুরি না করে এবং তাদের মনিবদের বিশ্বাসভাজন হয়৷ এইভাবে তাদের সমস্ত, আচরণে প্রকাশ পাবে য়ে আমাদের ত্রাণকর্তা ঈশ্বরের শিক্ষা উত্তম৷

11 For the grace of God which carries with it salvation for all men has appeared,ঐভাবেই আমাদের চলা উচিত কারণ ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহ প্রকাশিত হয়েছে৷ সে অনুগ্রহ প্রত্যেক মানুষকে রক্ষা করতে পারে, সেই অনুগ্রহ আমাদের দেওয়া হয়েছে৷

12 teaching us that, having denied impiety and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, and justly, and piously in the present course of things,সেই অনুগ্রহ আমাদের শিক্ষা দেয়, য়েন আমরা ঈশ্বরবিহীন জীবনযাপন না করি ও জগতের কামনা বাসনা অগ্রাহ্য় করে এই বর্তমান জগতে আত্মনিয়ন্ত্রিত,ন্যায়পরায়ণ এবং ধার্মিকভাবে জীবনযাপন করি৷

13 awaiting the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ;আমাদের মহান ঈশ্বর এবং ত্রাণকর্তা যীশু খ্রীষ্টের মহিমার আবির্ভাবের জন্য যখন অপেক্ষা করছি, তখন য়েন আমরা সবাই এইভাবেই চলি৷ তিনিই আমাদের মহান প্রত্যাশা, যিনি মহিমা নিয়ে আসবেন৷

14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works.খ্রীষ্ট আমাদের জন্যে নিজেকে দিলেন, যাতে সমস্ত মন্দ থেকে আমাদের উদ্ধার করতে পারেন, যাতে আমরা সত্ কর্মে আগ্রহী ও পরিশুদ্ধ মানুষ হিসেবে কেবল তাঁর হই৷

15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise thee.এসব কথা বল এবং পূর্ণ কর্তৃত্ত্বের সঙ্গে তাদের উত্‌সাহিত কর ও তিরস্কার কর৷ কেউ য়েন তোমাকে তুচ্ছ করতে না পারে৷
