9 এখন, কেন তোমরা উচ্চস্বরে কাঁদছো? তোমাদের রাজা কি চলে গেছেন? তোমরা কি তোমাদের নেতাকে হারিযেছো? তোমরা প্রসবকারী স্ত্রীলোকের মতো যন্ত্রনা পাচ্ছ|
10 সিয়োন কন্যা, যন্ত্রণা অনুভব কর| তোমার ‘শিশুকে জন্ম দাও| তোমাদের অবশ্যই এই শহরের (জেরুশালেম) বাইরে য়েতে হবে| তোমাদের মাঠে বাস করতে হবে| আমি বলতে চাইছি তোমরা বাবিলে য়াব| কিন্তু তোমরা ঐ জায়গা থেকে রক্ষা পাবে| প্রভু সেখানে য়াবেন এবং তোমাদের উদ্ধার করবেন| তিনি তোমাদের শত্রুদের কায় থেকে দুরে নিযে য়াবেন|
9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counseller perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the Lord shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
