তারা বলল, “এই কারণেই আমরা তোমার কাছে এসেছি| দয়া করো| আমাদের মধ্যে তুমি এসো, অম্মোনদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ চালাও| তুমিই গিলিয়দের অধিবাসীদের সেনাপতি হবে|”

And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

ফরৌণ এবার বাধ্য হয়ে মোশি এবং হারোণকে ডেকে পাঠিয়ে তাদের বললেন, “প্রভুকে বলো তিনি য়েন আমাকে এবং আমার লোকদের এই ব্যাঙের উপদ্রব থেকে রেহাই দেন| আমি প্রভুকে নৈবেদ্য উত্সর্গ করার জন্য লোকদের যাবার ছাড়পত্র দেব|”

1 Kings 13:6
তখন রাজা যারবিয়াম ঈশ্বরের লোককে বলল, “দয়া করে আপনার প্রভুর ঈশ্বরের কাছে আমার এই হাতটি আবার ঠিক করে দেবার জন্য প্রার্থনা করুন|”লোকটি তখন প্রভুর কাছে সেই প্রার্থনা করায রাজার হাত ঠিক হয়ে গেল|
