তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে আমি য়ে চুক্তি করেছিলাম তার সম্বন্ধে বলছি| মিশর থেকে যখন তাদের আমি নিয়ে এসেছিলাম তখনই এই চুক্তি করেছিলাম| মিশরের প্রচুর সমস্যা ছিল লোহা গলানো গরম ছিল সেখানে| আমি ওদের বলেছিলাম, আমাকে মেনে চলো এবং আমার আদেশমতো কাজ করো| যদি তা করো তাহলে তোমরা হবে আমার লোক| আমি হব তোমাদের ঈশ্বর|

I brought them forth הוֹצִיאִֽי yāṣāʾ ya-TSA
אוֹתָ֣ם ʾēt ate
out of the land מֵאֶֽרֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
of Egypt, מִצְרַיִם֩ miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
furnace, מִכּ֨וּר kûr koor
from the iron הַבַּרְזֶ֜ל barzel bahr-ZEL
saying, לֵאמֹ֗ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Obey שִׁמְע֤וּ šāmaʿ sha-MA
my voice, בְקוֹלִי֙ qôl kole
and do וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֣ם ʿāśâ ah-SA
אוֹתָ֔ם ʾēt ate
them, according to all כְּכֹ֥ל kōl kole
which אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
I command אֲצַוֶּ֖ה ṣāwâ tsa-VA
אֶתְכֶ֑ם ʾēt ate
you: so shall ye be וִהְיִ֤יתֶם hāyâ ha-YA
לִי֙
my people, לְעָ֔ם ʿam am
and I וְאָ֣נֹכִ֔י ʾānōkî ah-noh-HEE
will be אֶהְיֶ֥ה hāyâ ha-YA
לָכֶ֖ם
your God: לֵאלֹהִֽים׃ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
