এই ঘটনা হিষ্কিয়কে খুবই খুশী করে| তাই তিনি মরোদক-বলদনের দূতদের তাঁর কোষাগারের সব মূল্যবান জিনিস দেখালেন| হিষ্কিয় তাঁদের দেখালেন সোনা, রূপো, মশলা ও মূল্যবান গন্ধ দ্রব্য| তিনি তাঁর অস্ত্রাগারও তাঁদের দেখালেন| তাঁর যা কিছু ছিল সবই দেখালেন| তাঁর প্রাসাদে ও রাজ্যে যে সব জিনিষ ছিল তিনি সব তাঁদের দেখালেন|
