Genesis 5:1-31 in Bengali

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:

10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:

13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:

19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.

30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

1 এই বই হল আদম পরিবারের বিষয নিয়ে| ঈশ্বর নিজের ছাঁচে মানুষকে সৃষ্টি করেছিলেন|
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 ঈশ্বর মানুষকে পুরুষ ও স্ত্রীরূপে সৃষ্টি করেছিলেন| এবং সেই সৃষ্টির দিনে ঈশ্বর আশীর্বাদ করে তাদের নাম দিলেন “আদম|”
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 আদমের যখন 130 বছর বয়স তখন তার আর একটি পুত্র হল| পুত্রটিকে দেখতে হুবহু আদমের মতো| আদম তার নাম রাখলেন শেথ|
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

4 শেথের জন্মের পর 800 বছর আদম বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| এই সময়ের মধ্যে আদমের আরও পুত্রকন্যা হল|
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

5 সুতরাং আদম মোট 930 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| তারপর তাঁর মৃত্যু হল|
And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

6 শেথের যখন 105 বছর বয়স তখন তাঁর একটি পুত্র হয়| তার নাম রাখা হয় ইনোশ|
And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

7 ইনোশের জন্মের পরে শেথ 807 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| ইতিমধ্যে শেথের আরও পুত্রকন্যা হয়|
And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

8 সুতরাং শেথ বেঁচ্ছেিলেন মোট 912 বছর| তারপর তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়|
And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

9 ইনোশের যখন 90 বছর বয়স তখন তাঁর কৈনন নামে একটি পুত্র হয়|
And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:

10 কৈননের জন্মের পর ইনোশ 815 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| ইতিমধ্যে তাঁর আরও পুত্রকন্যা হয়|
And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

11 সুতরাং ইনোশ মোট 905 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| তারপর তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়|
And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

12 কৈননের 70 বছর বয়সে তাঁর মহললেল নামে একটি পুত্র হয়|
And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:

13 মহললেলের জন্মের পর কৈনন 840 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| ইতিমধ্যে কৈননের আরও পুত্রকন্যা হয়|
And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

14 সুতরাং কৈনন মোট 910 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| তারপর তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়|
And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

15 মহললেলের যখন 65 বছর তখন তাঁর য়েরদ নামে একটি পুত্র হয়|
And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

16 য়েরদের জন্মের পর মহললেল 830 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| ইতিমধ্যে তাঁর আরও পুত্রকন্যা হয়|
And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

17 সুতরাং মহললেল মোট 895 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| তারপর তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়|
And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

18 য়েরদের যখন 162 বছর বয়স তখন তাঁর হনোক নামে একটি পুত্র হয়|
And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:

19 হনোকের জন্মের পর য়েরদ 800 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| ইতিমধ্যে তাঁর আরও পুত্রকন্যা হয়.
And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

20 সুতরাং য়েরদ মোট 962 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| তারপর তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়|
And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

21 হনোকের যখন 65 বছর বয়স তখন মথূশেলহ নামে তাঁর একটি পুত্র হয়|
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22 মথূশেলহর জন্মের পর হনোক আরও 300 বছর ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে পদচারণা করেন| ইতিমধ্যে তাঁর আরও পুত্রকন্যা হয়|
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23 সুতরাং হনোক মোট 365 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন|
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 একদিন হনোক ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে পদচারণা করতে করতে অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেলেন| ঈশ্বর তাঁকে নিয়ে নিলেন|
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 মথূশেলহর যখন 187 বছর বয়স তখন তাঁর লেমক নামে একটি পুত্র হয়|
And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

26 লেমকের জন্মের পর মথূশেলহ 782 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| ইতিমধ্যে তাঁর আরও পুত্রকন্যা হয়|
And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

27 সুতরাং মথূশেলহ মোট 969 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| তারপর তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়|
And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

28 লেমকের যখন 182 বছর বয়স তখন তাঁর একটি পুত্র হল|
And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

29 লেমক পুত্রের নাম রাখলেন নোহ| তিনি বললেন, “ঈশ্বর ভূমিকে অভিশাপ দিয়েছেন বলে কৃষকরূপে আমাদের কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে হয়| কিন্তু নোহ আমাদের বিশ্রাম দেবে|”
And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.

30 নোহের জন্মের পর লেমক 595 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| ইতিমধ্যে তাঁর আরও পুত্রকন্যা হয়|
And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

31 সুতরাং লেমক মোট 777 বছর বেঁচ্ছেিলেন| তারপর তাঁর মৃত্যু হয়|
And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
