Genesis 46
1 ইস্রায়েল মিশর দেশের উদ্দেশ্যে যাত্রা শুরু করলেন| প্রথমে তিনি বের্-শেবাতে গেলেন| সেখানে ইস্রায়েল তাঁর পিতা ইসহাকের ঈশ্বরের উপাসনা করলেন এবং বলি দিলেন|
2 রাত্রে ঈশ্বর স্বপ্নে যাকোবের সঙ্গে কথা বললেন| ঈশ্বর বললেন, “যাকোব, যাকোব|”ইস্রায়েল উত্তর দিলেন, “এই য়ে আমি|”
3 তখন ঈশ্বর বললেন, “আমি ঈশ্বর, তোমার পিতার ঈশ্বর! মিশরে য়েতে ভয় কোর না| মিশরে আমি তোমাকে এক মহাজাতিতে পরিণত করব|
4 আমি তোমার সঙ্গে মিশরে যাব আর তোমাকে সেখান থেকে ফিরিযে আনব| তুমি মিশরে মারা যাবে কিন্তু য়োষেফ তোমার সঙ্গে থাকবে| তুমি মারা গেলে য়োষেফই তার নিজের হাত দিয়ে তোমার চোখ বুজিযে দেবে|”
1 And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
2 And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
4 I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
3 তখন ঈশ্বর বললেন, “আমি ঈশ্বর, তোমার পিতার ঈশ্বর! মিশরে য়েতে ভয় কোর না| মিশরে আমি তোমাকে এক মহাজাতিতে পরিণত করব|
And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
4 আমি তোমার সঙ্গে মিশরে যাব আর তোমাকে সেখান থেকে ফিরিযে আনব| তুমি মিশরে মারা যাবে কিন্তু য়োষেফ তোমার সঙ্গে থাকবে| তুমি মারা গেলে য়োষেফই তার নিজের হাত দিয়ে তোমার চোখ বুজিযে দেবে|”
I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
