এষৌ জানতে পারল য়ে তার পিতা ইসহাক যাকোবকে আশীর্বাদ করেছেন| এষৌ জানল য়ে ইসহাক যাকোবকে পদ্দন-অরামে পাঠিয়েছেন সেখানে বিয়ে করার জন্যে| ইসহাক য়ে যাকোবকে কনানের মেয়ে বিয়ে না করার আদেশ দিয়েছেন সে কথাও এষৌ জানল|

When Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan;

Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan-aram, to take him a wife from thence. And that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

and that as he blessed בְּבָרֲכ֣וֹ bārak ba-RAHK
