আর যীশুকে বলল, ‘তুমি যদি ঈশ্বরের পুত্র হও তবে লাফ দিয়ে নীচে পড়, কারণ শাস্ত্রে তো একথা লেখা আছে: ‘তিনি তাঁর স্বর্গদূতদের তোমার উপর দৃষ্টি রাখতে আদেশ দেবেন আর তারা তোমাকে তুলে ধরবেন, য়েন পাথরের উপর পড়ে তোমার পায়ে আঘাত না লাগে৷'" গীতসংহিতা 91 :11 -12

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

and saith unto him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and, On their hands they shall bear thee up, Lest haply thou dash thy foot against a stone.
