1 கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: மோவாபின் மூன்று பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும், நாலு பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும், நான் அவன் ஆக்கினையைத் திருப்பமாட்டேன்; அவன் ஏதோமுடைய ராஜாவின் எலும்புகளை நீறாகச் சுட்டுப்போட்டானே. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

2 மோவாப்தேசத்தில் தீக்கொளுத்துவேன்; அது கீரியாத்தின் அரமனைகளைப் பட்சிக்கும்; மோவாபியர் அமளியோடும் ஆர்ப்பரிப்போடும் எக்காள சத்தத்தோடும் சாவார்கள். But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:

3 நியாயாதிபதியை அவர்கள் நடுவில் இராதபடிக்கு நான் சங்காரம்பண்ணி, அவனோடே அவர்களுடைய பிரபுக்களையெல்லாம் கொன்றுபோடுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

5 யூதாவிலே நான் தீக்கொளுத்துவேன்; அது எருசலேமின் அரமனைகளைப் பட்சிக்கும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

6 மேலும்: இஸ்ரவேலின் மூன்று பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும், நாலு பாதகங்களினிமித்தமும், நான் அவர்களுடைய ஆக்கினையைத் திருப்பமாட்டேன், அவர்கள் நீதிமானைப் பணத்துக்கும், எளியவனை ஒரு ஜோடு பாதரட்சைக்கும் விற்றுப்போட்டார்களே. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:

And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

9 நானோ: கேதுருமரங்களைப்போல் உயரமும், கர்வாலி மரங்களைப்போல் வைரமுமாயிருந்த எமோரியனை அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக அழித்தேன்; உயர இருந்த அவனுடைய கனியையும், தாழ இருந்த அவனுடைய வேர்களையும் அழித்துப்போட்டு, Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

10 நீங்கள் எமோரியனுடைய தேசத்தைக் கட்டிக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கு உங்களை நான் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து வரப்பண்ணி, உங்களை நாற்பது வருஷமாக வனாந்தரத்திலே வழிநடத்தி, Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

11 உங்கள் குமாரரில் சிலரைத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளாகவும் உங்கள் வாலிபரில் சிலரை நசரேயராகவும் எழும்பப்பண்ணினேன்; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரே, இப்படி நான் செய்யவில்லையா என்று கர்த்தர் கேட்கிறார். And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.

12 நீங்களோ நசரேயருக்குத் திராட்சரசம் குடிக்கக் கொடுத்து, தீர்க்கதரிசிகளை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ்சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்று கற்பித்தீர்கள். But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

13 இதோ, கோதுமைக்கட்டுகள் நிறைபாரமாக ஏற்றப்பட்ட வண்டியில் இருத்துகிறதுபோல, நான் உங்களை நீங்கள் இருக்கிற ஸ்தலத்தில் இருத்துவேன். Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.

14 அப்பொழுது வேகமானவன் ஓடியும் புகலிடமில்லை; பலவான் தன் பலத்தினால் பலப்படுவதுமில்லை; பராக்கிரமசாலி தன் பிராணனைத் தப்புவிப்பதுமில்லை. Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:

15 வில்லைப் பிடிக்கிறவன் நிற்பதுமில்லை; வேகமானன் தன் கால்களால் தப்பிப்போவதுமில்லை; குதிரையின் மேல் ஏறுகிறவன் தன் பிராணனை இரட்சிப்பதுமில்லை. Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.

16 பலசாலிகளுக்குள்ளே தைரியவான் அந்நாளிலே நிர்வாணியாய் ஓடிப்போவான் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.

1 Karththar sollukirathu ennavental: movaapin moontu paathakangalinimiththamum, naalu paathakangalinimiththamum, naan avan aakkinaiyaith thiruppamaattaேn; avan aethomutaiya raajaavin elumpukalai neeraakach suttuppottanae. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

2 Movaapthaesaththil theekkoluththuvaen; athu geeriyaaththin aramanaikalaip patchikkum; movaapiyar amaliyodum aarpparippodum ekkaala saththaththodum saavaarkal. But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kirioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:

3 Niyaayaathipathiyai avarkal naduvil iraathapatikku naan sangaarampannnni, avanotae avarkalutaiya pirapukkalaiyellaam kontupoduvaen entu Karththar sollukiraar. And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.

4 Maelum: yoothaavin moontu paathakangalinimiththamum naalu paathakangalinimiththamum naan avarkal aakkinaiyaith thiruppamaattaேn; avarkal karththarutaiya vaethaththai veraுththu, avarutaiya kattalaikalaik kaikkollaamal, thangal pithaakkal pinpattina poykalinaal mosamponaarkalae. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:

5 Yoothaavilae naan theekkoluththuvaen; athu erusalaemin aramanaikalaip patchikkum entu Karththar sollukiraar. But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

6 Maelum: isravaelin moontu paathakangalinimiththamum, naalu paathakangalinimiththamum, naan avarkalutaiya aakkinaiyaith thiruppamaattaேn, avarkal neethimaanaip panaththukkum, eliyavanai oru jodu paatharatchaைkkum vittaுppottarkalae. Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

7 Avarkal thariththirarutaiya thalaiyinmael mannnnaivaari iraiththu, siraுmaiyaanavarkalin valiyaip purattukiraarkal; en Parisuththa naamaththaik kulaichchalaakkumpatikku makanum thakappanum oru pennnnidaththil piravaesikkiraarkal. That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:

8 Avarkal sakala peedangalarukilum ataimaanamaay vaangina vasthirangalinmael paduththukkonndu, thenndam pitikkappattavarkalutaiya mathupaanaththaith thangal thaevarkalin kovililae kutikkiraarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar. And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

9 Naano: kaethurumarangalaippol uyaramum, karvaali marangalaippol vairamumaayiruntha emoriyanai avarkalukku munpaaka aliththaen; uyara iruntha avanutaiya kaniyaiyum, thaala iruntha avanutaiya vaerkalaiyum aliththuppottu, Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

10 Neengal emoriyanutaiya thaesaththaik kattikkollumpatikku ungalai naan ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu varappannnni, ungalai naarpathu varushamaaka vanaantharaththilae valinadaththi, Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

11 Ungal kumaararil silaraith theerkkatharisikalaakavum ungal vaaliparil silarai nasaraeyaraakavum elumpappannnninaen; Israel puththirarae, ippati naan seyyavillaiyaa entu Karththar kaetkiraar. And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.

12 Neengalo nasaraeyarukkuth thiraatcharasam kutikkak koduththu, theerkkatharisikalai Nnokki: neengal theerkkatharisananjaொllavaenndaam entu karpiththeerkal. But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

13 Itho, kothumaikkattukal niraipaaramaaka aettappatta vanntiyil iruththukirathupola, naan ungalai neengal irukkira sthalaththil iruththuvaen. Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.

14 Appoluthu vaekamaanavan otiyum pukalidamillai; palavaan than palaththinaal palappaduvathumillai; paraakkiramasaali than piraananaith thappuvippathumillai. Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:

15 Villaip pitikkiravan nirpathumillai; vaekamaanan than kaalkalaal thappippovathumillai; kuthiraiyin mael aeraுkiravan than piraananai iratchippathumillai. Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.

16 Palasaalikalukkullae thairiyavaan annaalilae nirvaanniyaay otippovaan entu Karththar sollukiraar. And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.
