அப்பொழுது சவுல்: இதை ஜனங்களுக்கு அறியப்படுத்தி, தெலாயிமிலே அவர்களைத் தொகைபார்த்தான்; அவர்கள் இரண்டு லட்சம் காலாட்களும், யூதா ஜனங்கள் பதினாயிரம்பேருமாயிருந்தார்கள்.

ஒரு மாதம்வரை சாப்பிடுவீர்கள்; அது உங்களுடைய மூக்கிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, உங்களுக்குத் தெவிட்டிப்போகும்வரை சாப்பிடுவீர்கள்; உங்களுக்குள்ளே இருக்கிற கர்த்தரை அசட்டைசெய்து, நாங்கள் ஏன் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டோம் என்று அவருக்கு முன்பாக அழுதீர்களே என்று சொல் என்றார்.
