யாத்திராகமம் 39:21
மார்ப்பதக்கம் ஏபோத்தின் விசித்திரமான கச்சைக்கு மேலாக இருக்கும்படிக்கும், ஏபோத்திலிருந்து நீங்கிப் போகாதபடிக்கும், அதை அதின் வளையங்களால் ஏபோத்தின் வளையங்களோடே இளநீல நாடாவினாலே, கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கற்பித்தபடியே, கட்டினார்கள்.

மார்ப்பதக்கம் ஏபோத்தின் வித்தியாசமான வார்க்கச்சைக்கு மேலாக இருக்கும்படியும், ஏபோத்திலிருந்து நீங்கிப்போகாதபடியும், அதை அதின் வளையங்களால் ஏபோத்தின் வளையங்களோடு இளநீல நாடாவினாலே, கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கற்பித்தப்படியே, கட்டினார்கள்.

பின் அவர்கள் நீல நிற நாடாவையும், நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு மார்ப்பதக்கத்தின் வளையங்களையும் ஏபோத்தின் வளையங்களோடு கட்டினார்கள். இவ்விதமாக நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு மார்ப்பதக்கம் கச்சைக்கு அருகில் ஏபோத்துக்கு இணையாக இருக்கும்படி இழுத்துக் கட்டப்பட்டது. கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டபடி அவர்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்தனர்.

பின்னர், மார்புப் பட்டையின் வளையங்களை ஏப்போதின் வளையங்களுடன் நீல நாடாவால் இணைத்தனர். இவ்வாறு மார்புப் பட்டை ஏப்போதின் பின்னலழகு இடைக்கச்சையிலிருந்து அகலாமல் ஏப்போதின் மேல் படிந்து நிற்கும். இதுவும் ஆண்டவர் மோசேக்கு கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்யப்பட்டது.

And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
