1 Samuel 29 in Tamil

1 பெலிஸ்தர் தங்கள் சேனைகளையெல்லாம் ஆப்பெக்கிலே கூடிவரச்செய்தார்கள்; இஸ்ரவேலர் யெஸ்ரயேலிலிருக்கிற துரவண்டையிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள். Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.

2 அப்பொழுது பெலிஸ்தரின் அதிபதிகள் நூறும் ஆயிரமுமான சேர்வைகளோடே போனார்கள்; தாவீதும் அவன் மனுஷரும் ஆகீசோடே பின்தண்டிலே போனார்கள். And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rearward with Achish.

3 அப்பொழுது பெலிஸ்தரின் பிரபுக்கள்: இந்த எபிரெயர் என்னத்திற்கு என்றார்கள்; ஆகீஸ் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய சவுலின் ஊழியக்காரனாயிருந்த இந்தத் தாவீது இத்தனை நாட்களும், இத்தனை வருஷங்களும் என்னோடு இருக்கவில்லையா? இவன் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்த நாள் முதல் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் ஒரு குற்றமும் நான் இவனில் கண்டுபிடிக்கவில்லை என்றான். Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?

4 அதனால் பெலிஸ்தரின் பிரபுக்கள் அவன்மேல் கடுங்கோபமாகி, அவனைப் பார்த்து: இந்த மனுஷன் நீர் குறித்த தன் இடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிபோகும்படிக்கு, அங்கே அவனை மறுபடியும் அனுப்பிவிடும்; யுத்தத்தில் இவன் நமக்குச் சத்துருவாயிராதபடிக்கு, இவன் நம்மோடுகூட யுத்தத்திற்கு வரவேண்டியதில்லை; இவன் எதினாலே தன் ஆண்டவனோடே ஒப்புரவாவான்? இந்த மனுஷருடைய தலைகளினால் அல்லவா? And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men?

5 சவுல் கொன்றது ஆயிரம், தாவீது கொன்றது பதினாயிரம் என்று இந்தத் தாவீதைக்குறித்து அல்லவோ ஆடிப்பாடிச் சொன்னார்கள் என்றார்கள். Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?

6 அப்பொழுது ஆகீஸ் தாவீதை அழைத்து: நீ உத்தமன் என்றும், நீ பாளயத்தில் என்னோடே போக்கும் வரத்துமாயிருக்கிறது என் பார்வைக்கு நல்லது என்றும், கர்த்தருடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன்; நீ என்னிடத்தில் வந்து சேர்ந்த நாள்முதல் இன்றையவரைக்கும் நான் உன்னில் ஒரு பொல்லாப்பும் காணவில்லை; ஆகிலும் பிரபுக்களின் பார்வைக்கு நீ பிரியமானவன் அல்ல. Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favor thee not.

7 ஆகையால் பெலிஸ்தருடைய பிரபுக்கள் உன்மேல் தாங்கல் அடையாதபடிக்கு, இப்போது சமாதானத்தோடே திரும்பிப் போய்விடு என்றான். Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.

8 தாவீது ஆகீசை நோக்கி: ஏன்? நான் செய்தது என்ன? நான் வந்து, ராஜாவாகிய என் ஆண்டவனுடைய சத்துருக்களோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணாதபடிக்கு, நான் உம்மிடத்தில் வந்த நாள்முதற்கொண்டு இன்றையவரைக்கும் உமது அடியேனிடத்தில் கண்டுபிடித்தது என்ன என்றான். And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

9 ஆகீஸ் தாவீதுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: அதை அறிவேன்; நீ தேவனுடைய தூதனைப்போல என் பார்வைக்குப் பிரியமானவன்; ஆனாலும் இவன் எங்களோடேகூட யுத்தத்திற்கு வரக் கூடாது என்று பெலிஸ்தரின் பிரபுக்கள் சொல்லுகிறார்கள். And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.

10 இப்போதும் நீ நாளை அதிகாலையில் உன்னோடே வந்த உன் ஆண்டவனுடைய வேலைக்காரரைக் கூட்டிகொண்டு, விடியற்காலத்திலே வெளிச்சமாகிறபோது, புறப்பட்டுப்போ என்றான். Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with thy master's servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.

11 அப்படியே தாவீது அதிகாலையில் தன் மனுஷரைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, பொழுதுவிடிகிற நேரத்திலே, பெலிஸ்தரின் தேசத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப்போகப் புறப்பட்டான்; பெலிஸ்தரோவெனில் யெஸ்ரயேலுக்குப் போனார்கள். So David and his men rose up early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.

1 Pelisthar thangal senaikalaiyellaam aappekkilae kootivarachcheythaarkal; isravaelar yesrayaelilirukkira thuravanntaiyilae paalayamiranginaarkal. Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.

2 Appoluthu pelistharin athipathikal nooraுm aayiramumaana servaikalotae ponaarkal; Davidm avan manusharum aageesotae pinthanntilae ponaarkal. And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rearward with Achish.

3 Appoluthu pelistharin pirapukkal: intha epireyar ennaththirku entarkal; aagees avarkalaip paarththu: isravaelin raajaavaakiya savulin ooliyakkaaranaayiruntha inthath David iththanai naatkalum, iththanai varushangalum ennodu irukkavillaiyaa? Ivan ennidaththil vanthu serntha naal muthal innaalvaraikkum oru kuttamum naan ivanil kanndupitikkavillai entan. Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?

4 Athanaal pelistharin pirapukkal avanmael kadungaோpamaaki, avanaip paarththu: intha manushan neer kuriththa than idaththirkuth thirumpipokumpatikku, angae avanai maraுpatiyum anuppividum; yuththaththil ivan namakkuch saththuruvaayiraathapatikku, ivan nammodukooda yuththaththirku varavaenntiyathillai; ivan ethinaalae than aanndavanotae oppuravaavaan? Intha manusharutaiya thalaikalinaal allavaa? And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men?

5 Savul kontathu aayiram, David kontathu pathinaayiram entu inthath thaaveethaikkuriththu allavo aatippaatich sonnaarkal entarkal. Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?

6 Appoluthu aagees thaaveethai alaiththu: nee uththaman entum, nee paalayaththil ennotae pokkum varaththumaayirukkirathu en paarvaikku nallathu entum, karththarutaiya jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn; nee ennidaththil vanthu serntha naalmuthal intaiyavaraikkum naan unnil oru pollaappum kaanavillai; aakilum pirapukkalin paarvaikku nee piriyamaanavan alla. 7 Aakaiyaal pelistharutaiya pirapukkal unmael thaangal ataiyaathapatikku, ippothu samaathaanaththotae thirumpip poyvidu entan. Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.

8 David aageesai Nnokki: aen? Naan seythathu enna? Naan vanthu, raajaavaakiya en aanndavanutaiya saththurukkalotae yuththampannnnaathapatikku, naan ummidaththil vantha naalmutharkonndu intaiyavaraikkum umathu atiyaenidaththil kanndupitiththathu enna entan. And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

9 Aagees Davidkkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: athai arivaen; nee thaevanutaiya thoothanaippola en paarvaikkup piriyamaanavan; aanaalum ivan engalotaekooda yuththaththirku varak koodaathu entu pelistharin pirapukkal sollukiraarkal. And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.

10 Ippothum nee naalai athikaalaiyil unnotae vantha un aanndavanutaiya vaelaikkaararaik koottikonndu, vitiyarkaalaththilae velichchamaakirapothu, purappattuppo entan. Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with thy master's servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.

11 Appatiyae David athikaalaiyil than manusharaik koottikkonndu, poluthuvitikira naeraththilae, pelistharin thaesaththirkuth thirumpippokap purappattan; pelistharovenil yesrayaelukkup ponaarkal. So David and his men rose up early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
